We're talking about the less obvious, smaller roles that you'd miss if you weren't looking; like Mohnish Behl in Sooraj Bharjatya's films, or Kirron Kher in Yash Chopra's films. Knowing each other: I have known Mahesh Bhatt for over 20 years now. My first assignment was acting out one scene in the telefilm, Janaam. I earned Rs 80 then, for my contribution. I was introduced to him through his half brother, Robin Bhatt. Initially, I was hesitant, but then we bonded pretty well. He has given me fame, love, money and also courage, when I needed to fight for something.
Body of work: I'm the only actor who has done 27 films in a row with the Bhatts. It includes Zakhm, Yeh Hai Mumbai Meri Jaan, Chaahat and Milan. It's a record of sorts.
