Samir comes down.Naina gets tea for him.She becomes shy seeing him.SamAina blush thinking about the previous night.
MunDit come to SamAina's house.Naina goes to get tea for them.MunDit apologize to Samir for not being successful in stopping Rakesh from going along with them.Samir is disappointed with them.
FB***MunDit at Anand's house and packing Rakesh's suitcase.They're upset as their plan failed.When the phone rings they lift it.It happens to be parallel line.They hear Arjun asking his dad if he has packed everything to go to Mumbai.Rakesh says that he'll be there only for few days till SamAina settle and come back to Arjun as he cant stay at his daughter's house forever.Arjun tells him not to come to Kanpur as his FIL has told him so.Rakesh wonders if he'll listen to his dad or FIL.Arjun right away says that he has to listen to his FIL as he has no other option left after Rakesh made him ghar jamai for money.***FB ends.
MunDit tell this incident to Samir and say that they couldnt do anything after hearing their conversation.Samir says not to do anything with Rakesh,now he'll stay with SamAina only.He requests them not to let Rakesh/Naina know that they knew about this incident.
Naina comes there.MunDit tease Samir that he's going to get sandwiched between Naina Devi and Safari suit.
Rakesh assures Anand-Bela that he'll take care of SamAina.Anand says he's skeptical because there's difference between son and Son-in-law.Rakesh mutters that his son is of no good to him either.
The guy who purchased SamAina's bungalow come to Anand's house to complete the formalities.Samir remembers how he bought the bungalow for Naina and tells him that he can have the possession of bungalow after Diwali.Samir hesitates to sign the papers and finally does it.
Anand sees Samir sad and consoles him.He asks if he has told Naina about selling their house.Samir says he didnt have the courage to do it.
Kanji gives some prasad to Naina and tells her that he prayed for Samir's success and also that SamAina take them to Mumbai along with them.Naina asks Kanji about looking after the house if they come with them to Mumbai.Kanji is about to tell Naina about the house being sold but Samir stops him and sends him away.
Samir tells Naina that they shall invite everyone to celebrate Diwali with them and decorate the house with lots of diyas.Naina says that they can keep coming to Ahmedabad often and visit their house.SamAina hug and Ye jeevan hai...iss jeevan ka yahi hai rang roop plays as they keep packing things and remember their sweet moments in that house.Their empty frame reflects their sad faces.Naina tries to cheer Samir.
Diwali night:
Samir says its strange that its their 1st and last diwali in that house.Seeing Naina puzzled he covers up saying that they'll leave to Mumbai after Diwali.Naina says that on every Diwali and Sankranthi they shall come to Ahmedabad and spend those festivals with their beloved ones.She says she'll remember the house forever.Samir is lost in thoughts and becomes sad.Naina tries to cheer him up thinking that he's sad because he's leaving Ahmedabad.
Naina takes Samir by the poolside and shows him the heart shaped flower rangoli she made with N loves S written in it.Samir becomes happy seeing it.They hug eachother.
SamAina pray to god.Samir says he has prayed for her happiness and Naina says she prayed that their love for each other should remain same and they should always come to their house in Ahmedabad to celebrate Diwali.Samir becomes sad hearing her wish.
Friends and family get together at SamAina's house.Rakesh starts scolding Munna after knowing from Pandit that he'll come late as he has to celebrate Diwali with his wife.Anand tells Rakesh that he should be strict with SamAina in Mumbai.
Male VO says...girls are taught that after getting married they should make their husband's family as her own but when Naina can make his mom as her own then why cant he make her dad as his own.
Zindagi milke bitayenge plays as everyone keeps celebrating happily while Samir stands aside sadly.
When Pandit suggests that they play cards Rakesh takes his class about gambling leading to Mahabharat war.Swathi suggests they play passing the parcel.Swathi is the 1st one to get out.Everyone tell her to dance.She dances for Ye galiyaan ye chaubara.Naina,Kamya join her.Samir becomes sad seeing Naina happily dancing.Its Pandit's turn.Rakesh says he must be knowing several filmy songs so he should now sing a bhajan.Swathi,Kamya make fun of Pandit.
Male VO says..There were all kinds of emotions that day but his biggest of them is his fear to see Naina's happiness fade away when he tells her that its their last Diwali in that house.
Its Rakesh's turn and everyone hesitate to give him a task.
PRECAP:
The couple who bought the house come to do aarti to their new house.Naina comes there and asks Samir who they are.Though Samir tries to stop her Naina goes to them and asks why they're doing pooja at their house.
