Am I the only one feeling extreme emotions in episodes - Page 2

Sameer suddenly becoming class conscious which he never was.He is insulting naina continously. He was never like this .And if he gets so angry by just sneezing when earlier it was shown how he bought medicines for her is complete character assassination. Naina suddenly has no brains and can't figure out anything .It's all for drama and extending there celibacy.Yesterday it was too much .

I am getting frustrated with Sameer too. In fact ever since this honeymoon has started, almost in every episode he finds a way to demean Naina. Be it her clothes, shoes, romance style, or food. And today, in the first 5 minutes of the episode, he managed to insult her on all 4 issues.

For some drama during the honeymoon, I am completely okay with his frustration about the kiss, or naina's dumbing down since airplane ride. For drama sake, I can even accept Naina wearing sports shoes, even though I do not understand why she could not wear flats and decided to wear her school PT shoes. I am absolutely loving her slow growth toward intimacy. She has shown immense growth. For example, take today's hug and kiss and yesterday's train ride. The whole french kiss, she is almost ready too. I would not be surprised if she initiated it next week. I am also okay with her studying on honeymoon, even if it does not make much sense to me but it makes sense for her character. But why did she think Sameer would show interest in studies on honeymoon when he is stuck on romance and kiss, I have no idea. That too in a hotel room? I am also okay with her lack of knowledge as to what happens on the honeymoon. Her ignorance is frustrating as there is a difference between ignorance and innocence. But chalo, thik hain. For drama sake, I can take it.

What I am absolutely not okay with is Sameer's taunts regarding Naina's class. No amount of romance can wipe out the taunts he has been giving her. I think what cvs are trying to show through his taunts is his frustration about the kiss. BUT IT IS NOT OKAY. When in the last 4 years has he even had a negative thought from where Naina comes from. If I remember correctly, it is him who defended her middle-class background when his family came up with class difference during the wedding. When he told them to have 2 engagement functions. He even wanted to protect her and her family's middle-class status by suggesting to have fruity drink during the engagement.

If he wanted her to wear something different in honeymoon, why did he not just ask her or even demand? Naina would have happily complied. What was there to get frustrated about.

When he told her that she needs to learn to romance. How does he expect her to learn? He has been with her for 4 years. She will either learn from him or with him. Can't he see how comfortable she has become with all the hugs and kisses?

When he taunted her about eating chakri in his so-called 5-star hotel, why did he not show concern that she is hungry? If she is eating chakri, she must be hungry, so why not offer to call room service for both of them. He would prefer she starve than eat chakri?

When she explained to him why she wore sports shoes, why did he not show concern for her leg ache. He should have gotten mad at her, not for wearing sports shoes, but not sharing with him that her legs are aching. Hiding her pain from him.

When she told him about her definition of honeymoon before train ride, why did he not bother to explain to her that honeymoon is more than roaming and eating and clicking photos.

And now she sneezed. God forbid she falls sick during honeymoon. How dare she? Is this the same Samir who came to her house at midnight with medicine and a ladder to give her the medicine? He left the room in frustration today because she sneezed. Is he going to blame her on monday for getting sick now? I really hope not.

With all its flaws, my only issue with this honeymoon track is Samir's demeaning comments about Naina's class and background. I have just about had it today because Samir pre-marriage would never have said 1 bad thing about Naina's class no matter how frustrated or angry he might be. And no amount of fancy breakfast can wipe off what he told her today at the beginning of the episode.

The main reason for watching the show 'Simplicity' s fading away nowadays..

Sameer knows Naina for last 4 years...they had 6 months or more time between engagement and marriage...he could have gone shopping along with her..so that he can get dresses, shoes, chappals, nighties,etc... for her f his choice..

But NO !!!! He will not do anything and simply blame her..

He used to talk to her for hours ...nothing they used to talk about intimacy even after engagement s really surprising..

I remember my cousin who got married in late 90s used to call her fiancee and ask his choice before going fr shopping..

We used to tease her like anything but now I feel Sameer Naina ko yeh sab khayal kyun nahi aaya??

Naina was eating chakli without class but Sameer was eating it with class...

Thank God in VO at least he said that he told her about chakli next day..

I agree. And don't agree. Can't take the way Naina is being portrayed but Sameer? Sameer seems very normal to me. He had insecurities earlier. Now, he has no fear of losing Naina. So, now, he is not compromising with the person he actually is. He is look-conscious. Unknowingly, he has developed expectations from Naina. He forgot he had never loved the outer beauty of Naina. Now he knows Naina is his wife and she won't be leaving him, he took her for granted. Thankfully, he is still respecting Naina's consent before consumation. Else he is a typical husband.

He is not judging her dress sense ,as he is not liking it ,he is doing it as he doesnt wants others to insult her ,make fub of her dressing sense like Dimpi did,
