Read the written update of yesterday's episode and I wanted CVs to handle it bit maturely but I guess they didn't (Note that I didn't watch the episode). New to the show and yet to watch 360+ episodes and know of each character. Took the creative liberty if you feel there's some change in characterisation. Enjoy reading. To Heart, From Heart!
Sameer was sitting in the balcony, staring at the stars. His cheeks had marks of dried tears. He had asked Naina to let him be alone for some time since his Mom left. Naina didn't want to. She wanted to hold his hand and tell him she'll be there for him, as long as she lives. She made some dinner for both of them and retired to her room. She saw the shadow of Sameer in the moonlight. Sliding the balcony door open, she sat beside him on the balcony floor and looked the sky. "Can I hug you Sameer, please?" Naina said still looking at the stars. "Hmm." Sameer said, finally looking at her while she was still looking at the stars. Before Naina could hug him, Sameer shifting a bit, leaned in and hugged her really close. Naina just caressed his hair and hugged him even close. "It's okay. Relax!" She whispered against his ears when she felt his tears on her neck. He pulled her closer. She kept on caressing his hair.
"Why does it keep happening with me all the time? Why do loved ones leave me and go. Dad, Nanu and now Mummy too." Sameer said pulling himself away from Naina and held her hand as if his life depended on it's warmth. "Promise me you will never leave me. Promise me Naina. Main chahe kuch bhi karu, kitni bhi bewakoofiyan karu, promise me you'll be with me forever. Please!" Sameer held her hand and put it on his cheek. "Sameer, aisa nahi hai. Dad, Nanu, Mummy koyi tumhein chod ke nahi gaya. Woh bhale hi physically saath na ho par unka pyaar, unki yaadein woh tumhare dil mein humesha rahengi. Aur main? Main kahan jaungi. Main toh tumhare paas hi hoon." Naina said looking at him lovingly. "Chalo have something. Tumnein kuch nahi khaya hai subah se." Naina said. Sameer just nodded his head in agreement.
After dinner Sameer wanted to sit in the balcony for some more time and Naina agreed too. They sat on the floor of the balcony and looked at the brightest star. "Tumnein mujhe promise nahi kiya forever tak saath dene ka." Sameer said looking at Naina. "Sameer, forever isn't promised to any of us. Par haan, main vaada karti hoon as long as I live, I'll be there to wipe your tears, I'll be there to hug you, I'll be there to calm you down, I'll be there as your family, your soulmate." Naina looked into his eyes with sincerity. "You know Sameer, hum shaadi kyun karte hain?" Naina looked back at her favourite bright star. "Kyun?" Sameer said looking at her. "Kyun ki ek humare spouse hi hote hain jo humesha saath rehte hain. Maa-Baap, Bhai-Behen aur yahan tak ki Dost aur khud ke bacche bhi ek din zaroor bahut aage nikal jaate hain. Maana pyaar aur yaadein rehti hain par saath, saath nahi hota iss liye har ek ko shaadi karna itna important hota, to have that one person jo humesha saath ho. Main bhi hoon tumhare paas even when you will do the craziest thing. I promise!" Naina said what she had always thought about marriage. Sameer was left without words. "Maana, Mummyji ko jaana pada aur shayad ab woh tumse kabhi na mil paayein par woh humesha tumhari Maa hi rahengi Sameer aur yeh sach koyi chahe toh bhi nahi badal sakta." Naina looked at him. Sameer was in awe of the woman beside him. Naina just shifted a bit, sat in his lap and hugged him. "Tum please roya mat karo. Mujhe takleef hoti hai. Main hoon tumhare saath. Aur tum dekhna, ek din Mummyji khud aayengi tumhare paas. I know it." Naina said against his ears. Sameer too responded the hug. "I trust you with it Naina. Aur agar nahi bhi aayi, I know tum mera haath kabhi nahi chodogi." Sameer smiled for the first time since Vishakha left. Naina wanted to part with the hug but Sameer still held her close. "Please thodi der aur." He said against her neck and she hugged him back.
Uss din agar Naina nahi hoti toh pata nahi mera kya hota. Mummy ke jaane ke baad bilkul toot gaya tha, koi bhi baccha toot jaata hai par Naina nein mujhe vapas se joda, wapas se khada kiya. Shayad issi ko sacchi partnership kehte hain. Shayad sach mein har koi zindagi bhar ke liye nahi hota aur jo hota hai, use sambhal kar rakhna chahiye. Hum aaj bhi uss raat ko yaad karte hain aur mujhe phir se yakeen ho jaata hai, Naina humesha rahegi mere saath!
