part 3

Naina was unable to take out her gaze from that boy, he was the same one she saw during admission process and now she was seeing him after months and this was the day when she was getting scolded for breaking the apparatus. She was completely embarrassed, tears started coming in her eyes and when she was on verge of crying, she left the lab with her bag, and while her way out broke another test- tube. She felt like collapsing on the floor with embarassment,

After that day,she dint go to her college for two days but then she decided, she has to attend classes as anyways she has to study and hoped that everyone might have forgotten the incident.

It was her engg drawing class when a new professor came to take their classes, they were introduced to the lecturer who seemed to be very khadoos but even the HoDs were treating him too well as he had retired from the college and now joined as guest lecturer.

Naina was busy in the class completely forgetting the incident, but there was someone in whose mind naina's face was imprinted, he was busy in adoring her trying to memorize all her features only if something was not already known, he finally felt his sense of appetite returning and he himself was confused for the reason it was lost. But little did he know a fact about Naina, she had a habit of forgetting face of the person specially boys because she never noticed them too seriously. So here Naina was in her own world, being the studious girl she is and there Sameer was having his full focus on her and then he clicked her pic silently in class with her side profile.

Naina, even when she had forgotten his face was unable to forget the gaze, which was very different from the normal stares she used to get whenever she used to be outside, which are generally very creepy but that gaze had some other emotion attached to it. He was a good looking person but ofcourse as she had forgotten his face dint want to think much about it.

She was focussed on solving maths sum just like school and could not relate that why people in college are having so laid back attitude because obviously to earn admission in the college they must be good in studies, she was sitting along with her friend Swati who after noticing Sameer and guessing that he was staring at her, told Naina that she is unable to study as college hottie was focussing on her, Swati was on cloud nine and told Naina, next time we will be seating near him and I will try to strike friendship with him.

Class break had started and girls were chit chatting in the class. Those were the times when boys in the class were seriously focussed on making girlfriend as having a girlfriend those days meant having prestige in front of boys, in short being the dude, well that happens in present day also, isn't it?

However, meanwhile a boy named Kartik came to their class. He was from another branch where no girl had taken admission. he came to Naina in the class and tried to introduce himself to her, Naina being the well mannered girl started replying to him, he asked for her help in studies and Naina as usual agreed to it. Little did she know that he was trying to be dude in front of her class and when Naina responded to him well, he made a rumour in college that Naina is interested in him and no boy should try to strike friendship with her as she is his girlfriend now,

Sameer had gone outside the class to drink water in the break and he only saw Naina kartik conversation end and he also like others assumed that she is interested in Kartik.He felt pained seeing them together but there was nothing he could have done. He took his bag and left the class angrily and due to passing in haste, his fingers brushed Naina's hair and she froze in an unknown feelingof something really close but yet too apart...
