I totally agree...the amount of negativity in this show is getting to be nauseating. And Naina who is shown to be so smart is now increasingly shown as this stupid helpless person who only cries or day dreams.

I have never particularly liked Vishakha's character as she never seems to speak up when required. And how is it that the permanently pregnant Bhabhi also doesn't help Naina. Mami's character deserves a tight slap. The beauty of YUDKBH was that all the characters were realistic, now they are typical cliches.

And I'm heartily tired of everything they keep doing to show that Naina is 'not good looking'... As a woman I find it demeaning at several levels even if this show is meant to portray olden times.

The writers seem to focus solely on finding something or the other that causes trouble in their lives, as if that's all they are capable of writing. The show needs some serious rewiring. I have already dropped the TV version and watch it on the app so that I can skip the unnecessary melodrama... Giving it one last week till I drop it .

I really wish the writers could be half as good as the writers on this forum who write such beautiful stories around these same characters.

The worst part is mami. She is like dooor ki rishtedar. But she is the boss of Vishaka. Vishaka always listen to her and has no voice of her own. 🤢

They are acting with Naina like a prisoner. Her every move is judged. Who does that just after marriage? Lost mangalsutra...arrey yaar dhoondo naa? She can't wear saree , almost everyone faces problem to wear those heavy sarees which she is wearing. Someone else is always needed to help her for that. The most strange thing is Naina doesn't have a nanad!!!! Who usually does this. And Punam bhavi is also another useless item. 🤢

I know that all of you are seeing as typical sass bahu drama and many of you may think that no bride will have a situation like this. But in my life I have faced it. Our marriage was also like Sameer Naina, love marriage turned as arranged marriage especially from my husband's side. So none of the family member liked me even my mother in law. So all of them were hell bent to prove that my husband's choice was wrong. No one helped me in wearing sari or in doing my things from the moment I reached my sasural. On top of that they were taunting me like anything. Even my hubby was happily sleeping on the next day morning and got so late in getting up. For that also they were taunting me. More than my MIL other aunts and cousins were taunting me. Same like Mami someone will be there to boss around. Luckily we stayed there only for 2 weeks and then we came to Singapore. I got married in 1998 and here it is still 1994. So these kind of behavior is usual especially in a love marriage.

Mami was overbearing.. how can someone be so annoying specially to the new person in the house.. no one in real life is that mean.

Then they put in a stupid hig sequence where the leads dont even know how to hug..it was so fake.

I agree this time the hug looked so awkward from both RD and ashi... as if they were forced

If they wanted to prove naina failed every rasam then can they just say it in VO & be done with it. No need detailed picturization.
