We all know about Naina's new hairstyle and most of us are not liking it and wish that she soon stops sporting this hairstyle. We dont know what CVs plan to do so thought of writing a OS on this. This is my first attempt at writing. Please share in your views and comments, it means a lot to me.
Thanks,
Sakshi.
Ghungraale baal - OS
Sameer was still sulking because Naina had failed to fulfill his wish and had tied her hair in a bun and not left it open as he desired. All through the wedding rituals he had left no chance to show her his dissapointment and anger for not complying to his wish. Naina had handled all this calmly. Now they were married, they were now Mr & Mrs. Maheshwari. This was a dream they had seen so many times during their four years of courtship and today finally it had come true. They both were so happy. Bidaayi was done and now was the time for Sameer to take home his bride, his wife.
The grihapravesh was over and all others rituals were also done. Naina was in Sameer's room waiting for him. She was already emotional because of her bidaayi and now was apprehensive about how Sameer would react to her hairstyle. She knew he loved her because of her inner beauty and her outer appearance never mattered to him but she also knew she looked wierd in this hairstyle so was a bit worried. Sameer walked inside and came and sat near her. He saw that her eyes were moist and concerned immediately asked her was she okay and was she feeling bad because she had to leave her family behind. She nodded and told him she was also hurt by his behaviour during the wedding. He apologised but told her he too was hurt because she didnt give importance to his words and leave her hair open but tied it in a bun. She told him she could not leave it open. When he asked her why she explained to him how she wanted to look like Madhuri for him and tried a new hairstyle on her wedding day but it went wrong and she looked horrible now. He coaxed her into opening her bun and she reluctantly agreed. Sameer removed all the pins and the moment her hair came loose he saw her and understood why she was feeling how she was feeling. He laughed lightly and seeing that tears escaped Naina's eyes. She told him that others too would laugh at her like him the next day at her mooh dikhayi. He apologised and said he will do something. He told her he will be back in a minute and went out. He met Vishaka and explained everything to her and asked her to help them.
Vishaka entered their room. When she saw Naina in that messy hair she felt bad and realised how wrong she was in judging her earlier. In front of her sat a girl who thought from her heart, who went to great lenghths to look good for her son and to fulfill her son's desire. She went to Naina and lovingly caressed her cheeks and told her that all will be fine soon. She called her friend who was a well know beautician and explained the situation and asked for her help. Her friend agreed to come despite the late hour. The beautician looked at Naina and at once understood what was wrong. She asked her if the parlour lady used only curls or some chemicals to perm her hair and Naina told her only curlers were used. Beautician asked Sameer to go out and he made a baby face and went out reluctantly. She asked Naina to wash her hair and then with her skills and hair straighteners evened out the curls. After she set her hair Naina's hair had that wavy appearance that she had initially wanted. Naina was extremely happy looking at the mirror and thanked beautician and Vishaka. Beautician left. Vishaka hugged her bahu and kissed her forehead and told her to wait and she will send sameer inside. She went out and told Sameer to go to his bride. Sameer hugged his mom and thanked her. He went inside and when he saw Naina he was rooted to the ground and mesmerised by the beauty of his wife. She looked gorgeous. Naina looked at Sameer and the pain of bidaayi seemed to dim and though she felt sad for leaving her family behind one look at sameers eyes filled with love and desire for her and she knew that she was finally home - his home, her home, their home.
