Where was Vishaka during full wedding??? Mama Mami and Sasurji was there for commenting... Vishaka was not shown at all during full wedding

mothers are not allowed to see her son's pheres

But I am an Agarwal and my father's sister is married in maheshwaris

so that time also the groom's mother did not see the pheres

maybe some families have this custom and some do not

Mother of the groom doesn't attend pheras in marwMar customs , so she was not shown I guess

What is the reasoning behind the custom that the groom's mother not attend this most important ritual, the ritual without which there is no marriage?

I dunno about other states .. In Bengalies .. the bride's mother and the groom's mother are not supposed to witness the rituals

Nowa days in cities many have stopped following this custom and mothers do attend ...
