I don't understand why CVs have to show Naina as such a superhuman with such great capabilities be able to excel academically, able to win dance contest, able to score a role as lead of the drama, able to win the GS elections and now as to be able to dance with sprained foot . When she sprained her foot earlier during her engagement with Sharad, she could not even get to walk properly. I wonder why she could do it now? I guess it is to prove that Naina is even more heroic and exceptional than she already is??

In the early 90s, I have never seen Marwari to be brides dance in front of the crowd - period! The girls would be quiet and demure and sit in the chair most of the time. The engagement ceremony on Friday looked like ceremony from these days where the groom & bride mingle and dance.

Well, that brings us to speech or dance? If it was me, given the circumstance I would only have given a short speech but I guess regular scenarios do not fit our heroine.

Very true. The events at this engagement are not 90s. In the 90s brides were instructed to look at heir feet. One wrong move from her and bharaat could be returned. Bela's dancing was in the same vein, out of order.

Sameer koh toh Naina kha kohi bhi harkat acha lagega. Maa patt gayi kha gabar nahn. Naina kho naachne wali nah bulaye, toh acha hoga.

The more CVS make Naina a superhuman, the less believable the character becomes. The audience will disconnect with the character.

Being an allrounder is all well and good. However even superman has his weaknesses. Everyone has them.
