Did really not expect this vishakha

Day by day vishakha is stepping in rakeshs' shoes...she really has to do something big to redeam herself as right now..she has lost all the respect even as a mother...

I expected vishakha to be open minded when naina for the first time mer naina during diwali..but alas..her explanations of rejecting naina and the way she handeled the situation brutally broke my expections..

Wishing the best for your son is one thing but planning and plotting to break his alliance and snatching his happiness...aur aaj toh hadd kar di..the way she was bitching against belas dressing sense...indirectly taunting sameer...
The way she was enjoying bela, tayiji and naina getting concious because of too expensive sarees...and lyje way she indirectly again taunted sameer for his choice...wah vishakha..wah..delh li hai tumhari choice bhi..somani..kiya choice hai tumhari..dhanne ho...
Mami toh hai hi aisi..her behaving this way was expected..but vishakha..nanu ki beti toh kahi se nahi laggi mujhe.. aaj..he would have been highly ashamed of her..

Aur yeh so called classy ladies ki hypocrisy toh dekho jab sasti saari pasand ki toh problem..mehngi pasand ki toh problem..really disgusted.

I'm not even for a second feeling bad vishakha for the behaviour she is receiving from sameer. she is asking for it..jab jab sameer ne uss se koi umeed lagayi hai..tab tab uss ne uss ka vishvaas toda hai...aur ab umeed karti hai usse full respect mile sameer se

Sorry guys..but really pissed of at this lady right now..so had to let it out of my system..

I am mad, not at Viskhakha but at Creative team and writers who are shaping her character. I always have perceived Vishakha as a mom who failed to understand her son and her son in return also failed to understand her, resulting in factions & frustrations at both sides. In Delhi the gap between them was shown to have narrowed. When the writers brought her character back for Naina's alliance, her concerns of Sameer being just 20, inexperienced in life and not being at right stage in life for marriage and, Naina hailing from lesser socio-economic class were in sync with real scenarios in which moms would dislike son's choice. Till here all was good for me.

However, my dissatisfaction came the day of Sari politics. Mami character has always been supercilious and boastful. Suddenly Vishakha was brought in to play snooty and snobbish which is actually for me out in line with her character. Vishaka not liking Naina is relatable as parents opposing your kids' choice was quite common in the 90s. I love the fact that Sameer supports and stand up for his girl. However, he also yells and threatens his family a lot. If it is the CVs strategy to justify Sameer's yelling at his family and siding Naina & her family all the time, then it is well and good. Congratulations to the creative team & writers as we as audiences are already saying "yeah Sameer's family, namely his mom deserve it". Otherwise, it was not necessary to add that side to Vishakha's character at all. 90s was not about elders being so evil that they stood as hurdles to their kids' happiness. It was more about the clashes of old school vs new school of thought where parents seriously believed that they made best choices for their kids and kids did not see it the same way. There was no need for the makers to make Sameer's entire family look bad so that we audiences are feeling that he being rude to his family, yelling, threatening and blacking mailing his family is all justifiable.

We love this show because it is simple & relatable. If it was some other show, I would not have even bothered to comment but for this show, character assassinations just for the sakes of making the leads' actions justifiable is a big disappointment for me.
