Haan haan pade hain when I was small. Bahut Dimaag istemaal karti thi.

One day my mom gave me head bath I may be in 3 or 4th std. I went to my neighbors house that my aunty's house. They were talking about applying oil will increase hair growth toh ghar jaake poora oil laga liya tha jo meri mummy apne liye rakha tha 😆

Bahut Saare aise karnaame hain

I used to play with two boys my neighbors and my cousin but I never got scolded for that. We used to play cricket 😆 and carrom and hide and seek. It used to be fun.

Now its so much technology we don't go out of the home and play. I think these kids have missed the golden era of 90's

Pitai to itni PADI hai ki count tak Yaad nhi hai but two of those are most memorable
1) I think I was in class 6 or 7 and was singing the song ",Main aayi hoon UP Bihar lootne" Shilpa Shetty song. My father heard it and next I don't even remember😆😆

2) This was when I was in 12th. My mom had said that she wouldn't hit me ever henceforth since I am a big girl (I guess she hadn't hit me for 2-3 years) but that year I was completely off studying. It was mid Jan and my board exams were less than 90 days away and I wasn't interested in studying. That day my mom took a kaali roop and literally tried to hit me with a rod. That entire scene was so dreadful that I don't even remember what happened then. Can't confirm if I was actually hit or not (and this happened in early 2000s not even nineties)

My mother generally had different way to punish. For example when I was in class 1 one day I deliberately missed my school bus and mom saw it. She didn't slap me forget that didn't even scold me simply said that till the time your school bus comes in the afternoon to drop the children you are to not enter the house. Eat your Tiffin and stay out in the garden.
I bet you guys even thousands of slaps was better than this punishment.
Although she got me into the house in an hour but that was enough for me. I remember since then I never deliberately miss my school even once in my school life (college me hostel aakar thoda bunking Kiya zaroor but school me with last tha()

I did not get much of pitai as my father did not believe in hitting kids, he is a bit like Anand gives kids a lot of freedom and very approachable.
But one slap I will always remember is I got a tight slap from my Mom for singing "Choli ke peeche kya hai"
She had told me a couple of time not to sing that song. But I was so little that I did not even know what it meant and on top of that it used to play everywhere.

When that song played in YUDKBH it reminded me of that memory and I even told hubby about it.

lol..such fun experiences everyone had in their childhood. I love reading it all. Just that I never had to face any kind of pitai in my childhood as I was the most pampered kid with the most goody image who can't d anything wrong. I can only remember the one and only time my dad had given me chamat for something but than he had come to me right after it to manaofy me. My parents never did my pitai but my sister did not spare me, I got so many thappads from her that I have lost the count for it and all of those were for studies. If I was given a chapter to study and I forgot 1 answer while reviewing with her, then I am in big trouble. Definitely it was all paid off as I was the topper in my class. 😆

I was a very pampered kid because I was born after so many years after my siblings so I am like a baby of the house so I didn't get any beating for anything except for my eating habits.
My Mom used to get so worried because of my eating habits and that's the main reason I got beating otherwise I was a very good kid and topper so no beating for me but my bro used to get beating because of me.

Wonderful topic. The last time I was hit by my mother was 2 years back, and I am a mother of two. It was not a pitai but still she slapped on my leg. And my then 4 year old daughter was horrified by this.
I was a very curious kid, wanted to know the mechanism of every toy so ended up opening each toy. I was a smart kid but hated to sit and study, so padai ke liye to bohot pitai hui hai.
