Contrasts

During the question answer session between Naina and Vishaka, they showed some contrast between Naina and Sameer.

1. When Naina was asked the question about Sameer trying to take Sanyas, Naina says it was because of her decision to break up and not go against her family that Sameer tried to become Sanyasi baba . They show a fb of Sameer and Vishaka talking where Sameer says he will go to any limits to be with Naina and will not live without her.

2. For one of the questions Naina says that she will try hard and not give up without trying. They show a fb again of Sameer Vishaka , telling him to pursue guitar he says he knows he is not going to get a chance so why try.

Not sure why these differences in them were shown, it can go positive or negative. Vishaka might think Naina is actually making up for Sameers flaws and they would be good as a couple. Or she might be thinking totally opposite that the two are very different and won't be a great together.

In the first flashback when Sameer was about to become a Sanyaasi...they showed a flashback between Sameer and Vishakha, where he openly took Naina's name.

Did Vishakha know about Naina already and was had she come to Ahmedabad during the sanyaasi track?

If yes, how did Vishakha not react to Naina's existence in Sameer's life then?

I'm slightly confused...
