I am confused . Why was Naina so nice to Swathi??

When Naina came to know Sameer had placed a bet , she literally made him run around for a sorry. All he did was place that bet in fit of anger , never even tried to win it .He could have easily won it but he kept shying away from it because he thought it would hurt her. All through that track , he has always been nice to her and never actually tried to harm her or spoil her image. There was always regret , in fact he would have told her the truth too , if those boys hadnt told her.

On contrary , Swathi literally schemed and plotted against Naina by joining hands with her opponent so that she could see her friend loose . She not only cheated Naina but also all those people who voted for Naina and their entire gang. To top it all she has no regret of what she did. As a GS , doesn't she think her friend was wrong ???

Another instance is when they got caught by the Police after the birthday party she was blaming Sameer and now nothing ... Naina didn't seem to have any problem with what Swathi did . I am not able to understand why??

And where is the romance between Sameer and Naina?? School days had more Sameer and Naina moments with beautiful , heartfelt , powerful conversations. I am really disappointed that College track didn't even have such moments between them. My understanding is that its Sameer and Naina's story , sadly every other person/group is given importance than their romance and when ever that one min you give , you add a BGM ...I am actually fed up that there is no Sameer and Naina moments.

I don't know , if its just me who is feeling very frustrated after seeing the episode??

PS: I know this post might not be liked by all , but to be honest I am not able to understand why this difference in attitude. Is it because Sameer is not that important to Naina?? Looks like everyone else is imp for Naina than this poor guy. I don't have any logic to justify Naina's response to Swathi's behavior.

Your not alone dear... We all are sailing in the same ship of disappointment.
School days were gold and I understand things change but this college track is a big let down.
Too much gang wasn't enough that they are giving rival gang so much footage.
I end up fast forwarding more than half the episode to avoid Su and Gang.
Don't remember a single meaningful Samaina scene in college. And Naina devi only sees Sameers mistakes baki sab ko 100 khoon maaf.

Hi
Can I Join this club too?
Exactly same feelings. Can't decide what to feel now
I am not able to connect with this Naina.
Where is that Naina who used to stand for truth?
Even I also felt the same why different rules for Arjun,Swati and Sameer?
For Arjun and Swati she is ready to let it go but when it comes to Sameer it's completely different.
She didn't even gave him chance. If you see what Arjun and Swati did it's not a small thing it's crime.
If she is so truthful then she should stand by it no matter what.
IDK what CVs are trying to portray here. It's ok to hide crimes when your Family and friends are involved others can go to hell doesn't matter if they are innocent.

Hi WRTW,

I second your post.

Logical points. Writers have long established now that Sameer is low on the list of priority people. I mean he is important to Naina, (when she feels like) otherwise she has more important points to attend to 😆.

The comparison you made between the response of Naina to Sameer & Swati in seemingly similar instances (where response of Sameer after the bet was very different to Swati's response to after election betrayal) is very apt.

You would recall R & R's post, and the points 4 & 5 in her post.

You are right, be ready to face some random comments who might accuse you of being negative and blah blah blah ! 😆 (Speaking from experience 😃 in some of my previous posts where I stressed on the double standards or different rules for different people for the similar mistake attitude)

As for me, its a very logical post 👏

They have made Naina like a Typical ITV female lead now.. she was such a strong character then and now look at her! Dunno if this whitewashing of her character was really needed. Doing suicide drama to prove her point for not being chosen over Munna, calling him names, and now forgiving when the culprit is not even feeling sorry about the betrayal...talk about adding a touch of realism to the characters😕!!

R&R just described it perfectly. pt 4 & 5, after Swati is all fine and apologises Naina will even forget Swati exists! Unfortunately, N's parameters are different for everyone , sigh! Ageyagey dekhe hota hai kya ...

Completely agree!! Naina's reaction was so weird!! There was no shock ... Nothing... Only tears!!
Two friends can never behave like this... This is not at all natural... But if CVs can show that the hero who was on the verge of being Sanyasi starts dancing in the canteen with a guitar in ten mins after getting to know that his GF is engaged or they show the lead pair hardly talking after they get back to each other after a major separation... Then what else to expect from them??

Naina had a fight with Sameer saying shut up etc when he tried to tell her that Swati is passing all information to rival gang. But now that it's proved Naina has to say sorry to Sameer for misunderstanding him. But I am sure CVs will not show that.

Even I fail to understand whether it's a love story or college drama.

Even they are not showing Preeti's reaction in major events like Chachaji accepted Samaina... Swati's betrayal !! How is it possible?

Let's see what we get in next episodes. Principal wants Naina to name the people who did cheating with ballot box. So as a sachai ki saath dene wali ladki... Let's see what she does!!

And yes nowadays it's getting proved more and more that she is taking Sameer for granted!! 🥱

I am yet to watch the episode so my view is based on the twitter updates on today's episode. There is a big difference between both relationships.
During bet phase Naina was falling in love with Sam, initially she lacked the trust but slowly started building it. The way it all happened she was broken in love..it's a different type of heartbreak as you have different expectations from your partner than your friend. She had to rebuild her trust on him to trust him for life again.
While Swati has been her childhood friend, there is always a different type of trust that you have in that kind of friendship. Also in practical life you are more hurt by your partner than your friend..that is how life is..so her reaction is bound to be diff for both. I would have been surprised if she would have treated both same.

Taking for granted is the key word here for me..
From my understanding of this Naina let Swathi go because of what Swathi said. She realizes she did take Swathi for granted, that being her best friend she would be ok stepping down and letting Naina contest again.
It is always those closest to us that we take granted for. And when you're loved one is pitted against someone you don't like you choose your loved one and that is what Naina did before and now.

As to not forgiving Sameer easily after Mt. Abu - of course, she knew him for a short time and was broken by what he did and it was related to her heart and love and emotions. She could not trust him right away.
Whereas with Swathi, she has known her for 13 years and knows her in and out and they've been through thick and thin. Her relationship with Swathi is different than with that if Sameer.

Honestly, I wouldn't compare Naina's reaction to Swati's betrayal with that of Sam's during bet phase. Like some others here have mentioned, that was a different kind of heartbreak. She was head over heels in love with him, and then right when she expressed her feelings to him, she found out it was all just a big joke. She didn't have any idea of his guilt, etc. Yes, he ended up doing quite a bit in order to get her to forgive him, but that was also because she hadn't known him for very long time at that point, and she just didn't want to be heartbroken again.

With Swati, it's been a very long friendship - this betrayal might have been more difficult to believe for her. Maybe she was partly blaming herself, hence her reaction. Though I will say it was pretty unrealistic for Naina to not get upset even a little bit.

My problem is regarding cv's not showing Naina's breakdown with regards to what she and Sameer went through after their breakup. If they can show her breakdown in front of Swati, if they can show her fear of losing her best friend, her going soft and wanting to comfort Swati, even though she was betrayed, then why was something similar not shown with SamAina? 😕 In that situation, they just made a complete mess out of everything with the suicide drama, and then later cracking jokes as if nothing even happened.

Regarding romantic scenes, I am in complete agreement. We barely get any good scenes these days. Their screen space when they are together barely lasts a couple of minutes, while other scenes tend to go on and on. This has been an ongoing issue since college track started, unfortunately.

Also, now I really feel they need to show some situations where Naina is supporting Sameer, as it is getting quite repetitive seeing Sameer always fighting for Naina, whether it was beating up Sharad, pouring his heart out to Chachaji, or giving his full support during elections. I know their relationship is not about counting what all they do for each other, but there needs to be some balance, and I really miss Naina comforting and adoring Sameer.

I'm sorry but how can you compare the two situations?! Both situations are totally different! One played with her heart and the other just backstabbed her for some stupid election. Few months friendship vs. 13 year old friendship. And who says she is not shocked? She is but most of all she is hurt. And somewhere she feels quilty for not understanding her. You can't compare.🤓
