Backstreet boys if I remember were after 1997...Similarly Spice girls did hit well in 1995-1996..

But others you mentioned were yeah I agree they were quite popular..

I don't know how my dad managed those cassettes but we did have some original albums..And other songs or albums not available were copied ...He always got new released songs for me and my sis...

For loud musics I hated those rock n roll songs ..I still do..Aerosmith Pink was one of them 😆

No backstreet was in 95...before spicegals !! I cud only recall George clooney Madonna , Bryan Adams , Bonjovi ..sme of thm before 95 .as i said my knowledge was so less n my classmates had so much to discuss abt singles...😆

Yes i hated Aerosmith...nvr liked him in personality n lukwise..😉

Backstreet boys and Ricky martin were my favorite....
Fav songs of that time... All party songs...I m barbie girl... Brazil la la... macare na...

Then I went back and listened to old english classics..
MJ was from an era before me so never took a liking for him but my all time favorite song remains...

Nothing's gonna change my love for you, you gotta to know by now how much I love you...

Ricky Martin's Maria Un Dos Tres was my favorite
Nothings goin to change my luv for u was the BG for Monte Carlo ads those days.

And llike how Sammy boy mentioned in today's episode "I just called to say I luv u" was the most popular with the 90s BF's
And "Nothings goin to change my luv for u" was too.

Thank you for making this post
I had and have no idea of videshi music...so that scene was relatable

Yudkbh brings back so many memories... I'm glad they are covering so many things...telegrams, black mein tickets, cable connection, cordless phone and now the craze of MJ

Edited: reading this thread is really making me nostalgic
I remember Ricky Martin 😳, Barbie girl,etc
