I remember we had antenna and i would call it anthinna as a toddler 😆
My father bought his first tv at 30 in 1991 when he got married to mom and they would apparently get vcr and watch telugu movies in delhi.
Then i was born in 1993 and he got antenna. My mom would make me watch some cartoons on doordarshan .
Antenna hi tha till 1998.

Then we moved to the current city we are living in, and my dadi decided to come to live with us for few months and my dad got cable tv for us..oops dadi..

Mom seldom watched serials until 2011😆 maine hi bigada mere mummy ko and then we finally shifted to tata sky in 2017😆

Yeh transition bada mazedaar tha😆 i saw this transition happen in front of my eyes.

I even saw the transition from the box shaped desktop to a TFD monitor to laptop to tablet😆
We 90s kids probably saw things change faster than our previous generation😆

I was teenager in 1990s, so I have DD-I se cable now all modern digitalization.

The 1990s was better. We had a simple life. That is present in our show.

People had time for friends, spending time with each other. Make festivals together.

Now everything changed. We do not have time for relations nothing

I'm a 90's teen but in South Africa, our satellite channels only came in the 90's and was only big with English movies and Sports and only couple years later Indian channels from India came on board. It was just amazing, this connection with India and all the shows.

I have seen the transition too. .When yesterday epi the cable guy came to fix cable at home I instantly said to my mum remember how the same situation occurred in our home when we were shifting from antenna to cable.. I used to watch chitrahaar, even has shifted antennas for better connection. . I have literally seen the transition from pagers, to Nokia mobile phones, to cordless phones from mouse of a computer that has a ball at the bottom to the laser mouse of today's. All 90's kid knows that it Ws a beautiful era.. Where we saw how the whole world literally evolved. .I must say that era Ws beautiful nt in terms of relationship n people bt also in terms of safety too.. I remember whenever there Ws power cut the whole kids of the colony used to play hide n seek by hiding in someone's or others house n nothing dangerous used to happen bt now even when there is less power cut we are not safe.We used to have laid back weekends bt nw even weekends are like they pass in a blink of an eye. .Even the serials of that time were all good n worth waiting like sonpari ,shararat, kumkum, kasautii Zindagi Kay n I am nt gonna watch the reboot of the show reboot is surely gonna mess with my memories of the show many more shows.. Who else watched these shows?. .I literally don't like it I wish the way our country has evolved in technology it also should have been better with safety bt alas.. I am forever gonna love my 90's coz no matter what my family wsnt like agarwals even in 90's they were n they are still chillers.. Cheers to all the 90's kids out here.. We are lucky..

I am 90's kid too.. it makes me so nostalgic when I see them adjusting antenna or getting cable tv. We didn't have cable for the longest time so I used to steal cable from my neighbors by attaching their cable wire to my antenna from our window.. 🤣 to watch Aashirvad, hip hip hurray, aahat, etc shows. But I have spent most my childhood watching DD1 and Metro/DD-2 channels - Shaktiman, Shree Krishna, Mahabharat, cartoons, etc. Those were the days, I still miss them. I have also seen transition from doordarshan to cable to subscription packages and internet based tv channels now..so much has changed..
