Yes the point here you said ...The grooms family was always forthcoming about their choice as Bride..And Tai ji played every bit to present Naina as the bride of their wish...( Although mistreating her position and power of an elder) ...Rakesh is also very much like Sharad...And actually the Trio ( Sharad and family /Rakesh and company) they have same mind about marriage...( Definitely Rakesh and Taiji will bring such daughter-in-law for Arjun) ...
Now coming back to Sharad...Let Naina give him once what's in her mind...He will never marry her...So somewhere I feel happy and proud that this time it was Naina to decide not to marry...Whether at fault or not...Naina seems to realize that Sharad will never be good for her...

@bold + a long speech is also needed for our "Toad Sharad" delivered by Naina. 😕 His condition is very bad.

Agreed it is not their fault in the beginning , but when a family member tells them that they don't want this proposal to go ahead , why are they behind to get it done.

Which means even after all the drama , Sharad liked Naina and wanted her as his wife. So the point is he found her beautiful and attractive.

This is what I have always felt , everyone wants an educated girl but she should be a puppet . Reality is people forget that knowledge gives a person to question the system when its not right and also helps the person be confident. Hence my advice to people who need a spouse who will dance according to their tunes with out questioning is find a girl like Bela.

Having said this , the mistake that Sharad made was , he wants Naina as his wife but he needed her in his way and dance according to his families tunes. Now that is asking too much from an educated girl...rofl...

Lol! I am sorry but I found the post a bit funny. Being a misogynistic, ill mannered, arrogant, narcissistic ass is definitely not a bechara.

I think we keep forgetting that our show is based in 90s in a relatively smaller town Ahemdabad. In a marwari family a normal boy would be like Sharad. His idea of world is only defined by the way his family has been functioning for generations. He is a average boy who doesn't even think about questioning anything or changing anything. His believes is that of his family, he doesn't have any of his own.
He and his family have been upfront about the type of girl they were looking for. Since Naina's family wanted to get her married while she is in college, they might have assumed that she doesn't want to study further which is a fair assumption to make given the 90s era.
During his interaction with Naina, she might have come across as a girl matching his idea of puppet wife cause she didn't say anything and didn't ask anything. Just answered whatever she was asked.
He only got to know about her wish of studying further only when they met at the restaurant by that time he had already planned his honeymoon 🤣.

Only thing which he did wrong was his behaviors with chachaji.. which actually was OTT.. he could have been rude but there was nothing so provoking in that whole scene to hold collar for...

It is off course not a serious post. LOL. Do you really think anyone will find Sharad a "Bechara"? 😆

@bold...exactly. This is the biggest blunder Naina did. She was sad and quiet because of Sameer. And the poor Mr. Toad ( Sharad) thought ..."Shayad yeh Tayeejee type.". As Tayeejee too gave them an idea and chance to believe she is like her..."Most obedient girl". Uparse Papa and Taujee made him believe Tayeejee is right. So what to do with this Bechara? Sab garbar ho gaya. Aab toh izzat ka sawal baan ke rehe gaya. 😆
