I really don't know how to respond to this post ,but unfortunately I am not able to ignore it too ,becau be u hv come on heavily on the female lead ...
Firstly I belong to the same time period as shown in the serial...
Secondly my close friend was in the same position as Naina is in now

In those days ,it was extremely difficult to accept your love story in front of your family ...people like shefali were rare

Coming to Naina ..she is always looked down upon in her family by her dad n taiji
Chacha is the only one who supports her ..
A girl who doesn't get that love in the family yearns for live outside and she fell in love with Sameer
Having said that...it is extremely difficult for her to go against her chacha and stand by Sameer ,keeping in view the middle class mentality of those days ... family is always first for her

Also she is not "using" same as a friend ...she extended hand of friendship because she is still under the impression that Sam is with Sunaina ( his break up with sunaina was not public as his proposal ) and she looks upon him as a friend

Once she gets married ,her husband (Sam ) will be her no 1 priority ...
It is always like this with woman ...priority changes as they step into new relations

So calling her selfish seems a little bad ...

Also I find it hard to digest that a person proposes to his ex so soon ( immediately after her alliance breaks off ) without giving a proper closure to his new relationship

Hey,

😆

Do you think all the viewers over here are dumb to be influenced by others!

Are you that naive to think so?

Everyone here who reads or have commented is a thinking person having their own opinions. Whether they agree or not, they are expressing what they feel. Some have opposed by post and many have supported too. But it's their own views and no one hasn't influenced them.

Why don't you share your views? I know it might require some pondering, articulating and typing. But, that's much better than the cryptic comment you typed that serves no purpose neither shows any pov.

Regards 😆

Hi Ratna,

Let me clarify.

I completely agree with when you say that in early 90s it was really difficult to talk about your love story in front of your family. Particularly in a middle class family. I understand Naina's plight in regards to that. Also, I agree to the point when you say that Women are more resilient and can adjust more to the changing relations scenario.

Agarwal family is a very complicated field of action and Naina is trying her best to survive that war zone. (I completely understand).

and that is where, in Naina's attempts for survival and finding a way out, Sameer is caught in the cross fire. Naina is trying to survive the antiques of her family.

She knows she cannot handle or control the unpredictable behaviour of her family. She cannot do anything against them - out of fear and family name. That is where she decides to tackle the person over whom she has great deal control - Sameer.

Regarding her friend ship request with Sameer - very difficult to gauge the true intentions. One can be she has accepted Sunanina in Sameer's life and Sharad in her life. So, the next best alternative is being friends with Sameer.

In the effort to show all this - writers became inconsistent with Naina's character. The Naina who was shown extremely caring towards Sameer suddenly became utterly cold, indifferent towards him.

It not being about negative or positive. Its is just that, what feels justified to each viewer. Some time gender influences the opinion. Some times personal experiences where one might have seem similar persons among their friends also play a role. In that regards, I feel Sameer is currently being played with no proper progress. The only way Naina can close the chapter of Sameer is by not doing what she is currently doing.

Regarding the last line of your comment - You are right! Sameer is acting as straight dumb devoid of any common sense. May be he is so much into Naina that when it comes to her, Sameer simply ignores everything including how Naina has been behaving in the recent times with him. She has moved on in front of him and Sameer is stuck where he was. So, you are right he is acting dumb in proposing her again. However, Munna's condition is the only saving grace.

If Naina refuses, Sameer can finally move on.
If Naina remains silent, then confusion prevails for Sameer.
If Naina accepts immediately then, it will appear out of place (in comparison to her recent behaviour) & its apparent that writers are just showing anything to drag the scenario and then suddenly concluding the track. It will appear unrealistic without Naina's realisation.

The most probable scenario, seems that Naina will refuse or will remain silent. Sameer will be indifferent but save Naina from Sharad. Naina will finally be in a situation to accept her love for Sameer in front of Anand and then Sameer will again come back to the way he was.

Let' see it all depends how Naina reacts to Sameer's proposal today and what the writer's have chosen to show.

Last scenario is probably the best ...

I know the majority of fandom is opposing this post.

But, the writers by their inconsistent writing are again making Naina appear utter selfish.

The level of support for Naina character is so strong that even in all multiple actions completely underrating Sameer, the majority view is still that Naina is doing it for Sameer. That means she is the ultimate do gooder and putting herself in lot of pain for Sameer's good!

In yesterday's episode the dialogues just took all the love and innocence out of Naina and made her look like a complete cold, hard rock person when it comes to justifying herself.

She made it appear as though Sameer is stalking her. Her dialogues "Hamara Pyaar Galat Tha was as if Sameer played some indecent game with her.

I want to ask the dialogue writers - what are You guys drinking 😆

You just made the innocent loving girl (who is facing issues) appear completely SELFISH.

Ok I said SELFISH again. Because,

Naina said it that Sameer and his love is WRONG!
She gave one line where she feetingly mentions hurting people - may be she thinks that makes her compassionate and understanding.

But the most important point: Now if Anand approves Sameer & Naina relation (I don't even consider it a relation in the present scenario- it just one person dictating the other one).

Coming to point: If Anand says to Naina that he is ok with Sameer, then for Naina Sameer's Wrong love will suddenly become the CORRECT love.

Is Sameer a slave of Naina and Anand and their unilateral decisions?

Today Anad will say ok for Sameer and Naina will fall back in love with Sameer. Sameer no one loves me more than you. Tomorrow Anand will say - Naina Sameer insult me ! Naina - Sameer get out of my life!

What are the writers trying to show? That Sameer is a Use and Throw for Naina.

Just because Naina has a mad and constantly arguing family, everything she does with Sameer is justified? Just because no one in her family respects her, it is justified for her to do the same to Sameer and support her approach as a high moral action.

Naina is free to leave Sameer if She wants. As an individual she has that right. Sameer does not own her.

But writers you need to stop showing Naina as in moral high ground doing good to Sameer. At least She did say previous episode - our love was wrong and now it's over. It's actually good for Sameer.

Sameer is behaving like an idiot. (It's the same in real life too). But now it's time for him to become a Man. To become Sameer Jayprakash Maheswari that he can be. He should work for his own success Without caring for Naina and her mad family.

The reason why the this all misrepresentation is happening in the story

It all because the character of Naina Has NO RESPECT FOR Sameer Maheswari.

No love can survive when either one of the partner doesn't respect the other. Writers are hammering that Sameer respects Naina and her decisions.

But the 19 year old Naina (not a kid anymore) is being shown to have no respect for Sameer and his dignity.

And thus her selfish and respect less behaviour towards Sameer.

*************

(Writers you have successfully neagated an innocent loving girl in to a psyche who does not look beyond ME and What's Easy for Me Zone)

I am waiting for more bricks from the majority fan following. I have already received many for my critical posts on Naina. Many do not know that How Big Supporter of Naina character I was.
But not now.

Her statements are cruel I agree, because only then it will enter Sameer's head that there is nothing further for them as lovers. She had made it very clear. Her decision was made long back. Her life is for her chacha ji. She will do anything that man asks her to do even if it means marrying a good for nothing. She is in that frame of mind.

For some people goal matters the path towards that goal doesn't and Naina is one such character...you have seen this multiple times. Whether it was saving Sameer from her dad or saving herself from the family. But one day you get caught and that's what happened. Chacha ji saw the real Naina. Naina the girl , the teenager who has fallen in love and has been hiding it for more than 2 years from them. Now it will be worth watching what he chacha ji will do. She will get a reality check on this relationship also. If he is the man she professes then he will never stand by Tauji and Tayi ji as Sharad is not right for her. But if he has shades of grey in him and he is feeling cheated ...wants to give back to Naina then he will agree for the marriage which he had denied.

On the other hand they have put Sameer in the same spot as Naina because of the promise he gave to Munna. Later if Naina comes back will Sameer accept Naina or would he stand by his best friend Munna who is more like a family for him.

Regarding Naina's statement ...I wont take it to heart. Because this the same girl who said she wanted to make her first love "Yadhgar"...so in a fit of anger on Sameer , she gave it back saying she doesn't want to hurt anyone any more...that includes him as she understands the complication of falling in love...80% of Woman have a very twisted way of expressing their emotions I would say. They never directly hit the point ...they always begin with complaining or cribbing or nagging...but what one needs to understand is the underlying problem...

Example...many women complain to their husbands, you don't take me anywhere...you don't buy things for me...you don't even care I am here ...you are so busy in ur work ...I come last in your life...general statements...what needs to be understood is "SHE IS LONELY...SHE NEEDS ATTENTION...SHE NEEDS HER MAN's COMPANY and SHE NEEDS TO BE WANTED BY HER MAN." When all she had to say was , that she needs his presence and is feeling lonely. He would have understood it better.

But how did come out... 😆 That's the gender thing... 😉 cant help !! DNA is coded that way... 🤣

So , I understand the point you were trying to make and I am not saying Naina or Sameer is good or bad/right or wrong...I am just trying to analyse why people behave in a certain way...

She is not selfish but I found heartless more.
How could she behave so normal to sameer after breaking relation with sharad ?
So means she just wanted to have friendship with sameer till the college get over and then tata bye bye and ready to get married with a person of chachjee choice?
Right?
Bcos sure as she belongs to conservative family and 90's era so sure won't be keep even friend relation with sameer after marriage?

I really didn't able to connect with naina character since few days

She is Ok with marrying other guy of Chachaji choice .CV's shd have shown that she is not feeling ok to marry other guy bit nothing showed in that line. After thinking Sameer to be her future husband right from start it somewhat was out of place .CVs shd have shown her disgust when any other guy was coming close to her.Anyways the writing has made Naina more heartless

If you see it that way. All the other things have not even crossed her mind right now...Even with Sharad ...She was present thee as Robot...Not with her heart...

The thing marriage ,love ,emotions, all the other feelings have been washed from her mind ...
