I was horrified to read about Nainas family situation...but I can guess why she hasn't gone to her mother yet.

Her god awful stepfather makes me cringe,and I can just imagine sameers reaction when he gets to know of this... he'll probably drag her off far far away from him.

Yes, the sad thing is Naina's situation is areality many girls have to face. Oh Sameer's reaction will be so good that it will give Naina the strength to fight.

Yes they are vile. I am glad someone finally picked up on that. It makes his love for her so much more deeper than the usual love at first sight. It relates it to the only memory he has of the only woman who has truly loved and protected him. It reminds him of that one treasured memory.

So he understood pretty quickly that he was in love with her,but it's going to be an uphill battle for him,given nainas hatred towards the male gender in totality.naina has already judged him to be on the same level as her stepfather,which,given her upbringing,is sort of expected behaviour.

Yes he understood because his upbringing has made him secure enough. For Naina, its going to be a hard battle accepting that she loves him more than life itself. But this battle will also help her develop gradually.

I can't help but root for Sameer,and I suppose the gang might also serve as a support system...

Sameer's love for Naina is a journey that begins at forever and ends at never. She is mesmerizing like fire to him, cleansing like water, soothing like rain and burning like ice.She is the untamed flame that has made him spellbound. ❤️

This is so well described. For Sameer that is exactly what Naina's dance aroused in him. Her soft core and warm melting heart is what he glimpsed in her dance. Dancing is the window to her soul just like in the show poems were the mirror to Sameer's soul.

I feel your Naina, who even in gloom is trying to be confident about her ambitions and never wants anyone to stop her, who gathers all the courage in the world to stand against the demons and to shield away her life from friends.She just want to conceal her emotional fragility from others in the fear that exposing it would make her look weak to them, rather would make her feel weak and powerless.She just feels frankly disclosing her hurt feelings even with friends would backfire and she may lose the only thriving relationship in her life.My heart aches in pain when I see her smile just fading away with the sun, disappearing behind the cloak of strength that she has put on to greet the werewolf in her life.😭

Yes and no. The Naina and the past you know is just a partial glimpse. She wants to be strong and independent and charismatic in front of her friends not just to uphold a strong facade but as a denial of her own trauma. Often people who have gone through extreme trauma thinking of their lives in terms of numb compartments. She has kept her home life in a seperate compartment to let her college life be untouched so she feels normal even if for just a few seconds. That is why the Naina we see here is so confident and in her own compared to the more victimised image we see at home. Because she has two extreme personalities (again a very common symptom of PTSD). But like her home life leaks into her college life you will see a bit of her confident side leaking into her home life in the next update.

She danced like fire and wind to distract herself from the hurt. The flames of her devotion and passion went out and hence she finds Sameer as the unwanted intruder. But little does she know the unexpected can take you out. But the unexpected can also take you over and change your life and Sameer is destined to be that unexpected.❤️

Indeed this is so true. This will be more clear to you with future updates. But dancing is as I pointed out earlier a common connection between Sameer and Naina. You will see in the future. Their pasts are so entwined with each other.

So Naina hates the concept of Love at sight. I could connect with her as most of the times it is Lust and not love.Love the deepest and most selfless form of human affection and empathy takes time to flourish, develop trust, vulnerability and real intimacy.

Yes I too agree with you. But this is still late 90s. It was still a simpler time than it is now. Not to mention Sameer's love for Naina is a very rae kind of deep. He sees in her the happiest and the most percious memory of his life. A hope that she would give him that same comfort and happiness he has been yearning for 15 years.

The words that she uttered hurt me because it gave me an insight into the darkest of darkest life she lives and it hurts me more to see Sameer in pain.

Yeah its like Shreya aka Mayashika commented their love means an intense pain but also one that is worth fighting for. And to be fair, the kind of love that arouses pain means it is extreme genuine love. It is worth rooting for.

Sameer is in love with her: totally, completely and madly.I want Sameer to fight for his love because You never lose by loving. You always lose by holding back.

And I am sure, there comes a day when he will gather her broken pieces,heal her battered soul with all his love and make her smile❤️

This is Sameer Maheshwari's character (both in this FF and on TV) in a nutshell. He is wind that can both command a storm and be a gentle breeze for his love.

By the way I did notice how you tied Sameer's mother and Naina on the same wagon wheel for him.Will wait to see how you would unwrap that part. Also, his realization of love as in the hospital scene of show with tears trickling down.😃
