Even in the show we don't get to see Sameer and Naina's scene as much as we used to get to see in their school days...the reason for people to love this show is their love story, their chemistry...that is the USP of this show...ever since the Delhi track we have never got to see much of scenes where these two are alone...and other thing is ...most scenes that we wanted to see with Sameer and Naina are given to Shifali and Arjun...look at the screen space that is given to Shifali and Arjun these days...Somehow ...I am not enjoying it..nothing against any actors or any one for that matter...I am here to see Sameer and Naina's love story...When it comes to Sameer and Naina's love story...they create illogical blockers and it kind puts you off...
For example , they had brought in the topic of waxing , but we never got to see Sameer having a glimpse of her waxed legs...why ?? Wouldn't the viewers have enjoyed that scene...they had stetched that topic to such an extant ...and it ended with nothing ...
Same goes with Periods topic , why involve the main lead lady if it is not that important...Sameer and Naina never even touch based on any of these topics...so this kind of leaves you in a very bad state as a viewer...
Giving back to back eye locks isn't interesting , there has to be variations and variety in the approach to romance...
I am no shipper , I really don't care what their off screen relationship is...but the ask is to promote your show together as a team. Even when they are giving an IV / attending award shows they are in front of the camera...if they need to act there as friends they have to...to promote...as its their show and TRP matters...so I feel they should promote very frequently...make their presence felt...and when they do it let them do it as Sameer and Naina.
What ever said and done , it all boils down to money...if this show can make a profit !! Else our show will not last long...and I really don't want that ... 😭
Ok when i wrote shipping i meant the focus on their offscreen relationship. I will give benefit of a doubt & say that maybe its not ashdeep's fault alone for not promoting together but also the channel & makers?
Remember that glitz intv, when the bashing got too much the yt channel said other show jodis wont even agree to do intv together but ashdeep were sweet enough to do together? They are not given chances to promote the show together cos there is no platform other than their ig accs which is personal. They DO promote the show like just recently ashi tweeted the promo & even before during college promos. As for the media interviews, again im giving them a benefit of a doubt & say maybe its the media that interviews them separately cos maybe the other one is shooting while the other is free? idk theres so many possibilities cos we dont know what goes on 24/7 of their offscreen lives?
In their solo interviews, they always emphasize & requests viewers to keep watching the show. If that isnt promoting with the minimal chance they got then idk.
I dont see how its only the leads to blame when the makers of this show hardly promotes the show. Initial days of any indian shows gets plenty of chances to promote cos they need to reach the audience. After a while pretty much every show gives minimal promos & YUD is no different. The channel plays an important role in promoting, actors are secondary.
As for the story & samaina...well ive ranted about my dissatisfaction many times lol so yknow im on the same page as you 😆
