First of all, a big jhadoo ki jhappi for you for surprising me with the unexpected dose of PreeDit. I had thought if at all there is a love story for Preeti, you would give it with Rohan. Thank you so much 🤗Jadoo ki jhappi back to you🤗. Are Preedit ka keeda mujhe bhi hai. To isme thank you kaisa. Aur mujhe pata th tumhe zarur pasand aayega😉
I really liked how you introduced the iconic Dil Le Lo. Did those words pull the strings of Preeti's Dil?
Bas aisa hi samajh lo. Dil le lo ke bina Preedit adhure hain.
You had successfully created the atmosphere of pride and satisfaction that a parent feels when their child receives appreciation for their performances.
Aww thank you love😊
The way Chacha-Chachi is supporting Naina especially on her relationship with Sameer, even though they agreed to it, some parents may won't, you know, put an extra effort to establish a good dynamic but I like how they are getting involved in the plans of Sameer and his family because they know it would mean the world to Naina.
You are right. Not all parents put this extra effort. Tabhi to apne chacha chachi alag hain. haina?😳
Loved the lone moment SamAina stole! ❤️
Part 12
During the whole confrontation, the moment which stood out for me was Bela coming forward and hiding Naina behind her just so Taiji couldn't hurt her. That was pure motherly instinct which had my heart. The appreciation for Chachiji can never end, se deserves so much.
Absolutely. She is the real mother to Naina. And she deserves applause for it. Kisi aur ke bacchi ko khud ke baccha banana is not an easy thing to do. Lekin chachiji ne koi kami nahi chodhi 😳
The unconditional love of Chacha-chachi somewhere I feel, fills the void of not getting the affection of Rakesh. It heals the wound of words thrown by her biological father.
I am saying this because sometimes how much ever love a child get, lack of affection from their own parent may cause problems in their mind. This is not the case with Naina, though.
True. It is very difficult to do away with that feeling of despair when your own father abandons you. But chacha chachi have successfully managed to provide Naina a safe and secure home filled with love and care.
The conversation Preeti had with her Jijaji has already instilled a lot of faith in Preeti which would further encourage Naina to remain strong and never allow her belief in their love waver.
Hehe haan. Preeti ko bhi jijaji par aur bharosa ho gaya hai.
Sometimes you have to give up on people not because you don't care but because they don't. I am glad you didn't show Naina 'selfless' by seeking Rakesh's approval after all the humiliation. Rakesh is just not worth it. Loved how Naina took a stand for herself and her loved ones. There is no point in ruining our own happiness for someone who doesn't give a damn about us!
Thanks, honey. I am not a fan of sacrificing your own happiness for people who don't care. Still Naina waited a lot for her father's approval. But ultimately, it was her own happiness which took the precedence. I am glad you liked the confrontation.
Aaisha Di, the dialogues were superb and on-point! 👏
Thank you🤗
When should we expect the next part? 😉
bas abhi😳

Heya! I am back with the next update. I hope you all like it.
"Part 13"
"Sameer, mai gir jaungi. Dheere chalo na", said a worried Naina.
"Kyu tumhe mujhpar vishwas nahi hai kya ki mai tumhe girne nahi dunga?", asked Sameer.
"Are baba, vishwas hai na. Par aise aankh pe patti baandh ke kaun le ke jata hai kahin?", said Naina as she held Sameer's hand tightly fearing she would bump into something and hurt herself.
"Thoda sa sabar madam, bas pohnch gaye", Sameer guided her further.
After a walk of few minutes which seemed like an eternity to Naina, Sameer halted somewhere "Ready. Khol dun aankhe"?
"Haan please jaldi", replied Naina and waited for Sameer to remove the blindfold. As Sameer took the tiny black cloth off her eyes, Naina opened her eyes slowly. When her eyes adjusted to the well lit room, she saw something which took her off guard. She was standing in front of a cabin adorned with a nameplate which read "Mrs Naina Maheshwari, Head, Production and Marketing." She looked at Sameer with questioning eyes "Ye kya hai Sameer?"
"Kamaal hai. Naina, the topper ko padhna bhoool gaya hai kya?" Sameer asked.
"Sameer, mazaak mat karo. Ye tumne kya kar diya?" Naina asked nervously.
"Dekho Naina ab na bhari bhari dialogues nahi bolne. Jaise ye acha nahi lagta. Mai is layak nahi hun etc etc. Dekho tum nanaji ki hone vali bahu ho, unke iklaute naati ki patni. To ab ye Maheshwari industries par tumhara bhi utna hi haq hai. And mind you, tumhe ye position kisi formality ki vajah se nahi di gayi hai. Ab isse pehle ki koi aur rival company aake IIM ki topper ko le jae, hume kuch to karna hi tha", Sameer dragged Naina inside as he spoke and made her sit on the chair.
Naina, who had fallen short of words, kept looking at Sameer without giving a reply. "Kahan kho gayi. Kaisa laga tumhara cabin? Maine khud sab kuch banwaya hai yaha", Sameer exclaimed.
"Bohat bohat jyada accha", Naina replied, still looking at him.
"Vaah ek baar dekha bhi nahi aur bohat bohat accha laga. Maana tumhara hone vala pati bohat jyada handsome hai aur tumhari nazre us par se nahi hat ti hain. Par iska matlab ye nahi hai na ki tum uski mehnat ko nazarandaaz kar do", Sameer complained
Unable to control any further, Naina got up from her chair and hugged Sameer tightly "Tum itne acche kyu ho?"
"Kyunki tumne mujhe itna accha banaya hai", Sameer replied, reciprocating the hug.
"Accha suno", Sameer said in a serious tone.
"Haan bolo na", Naina replied.
"Vo mam, meri na shadi hai ek hafte me aur parso sagai bhi hai. Kya mujhe aapse chutthi mil jaegi?Vo meri hone vaali biwi thodi gussail hai na. Chutthi nahi mili to meri hi chutthi kar degi", Sameer teased Naina making Naina break the hug. "Fir to aapko chutthi nahi milegi, Mr Maheshwari. Aap apna kuch aur intezaam kar lijiye"
"Kya baatein ho rahi hain ", Nanaji asked as he entered the cabin.
"Kuch nahi nanu. Bas Naina ko cabin dikha raha tha", Sameer replied.
"Kaisa laga hamari beti ko uska cabin", Nanu came forward and patted Naina's head.
"Nanu, is sabki kya zarurat thi. Itni badi zimmedari mai kaise sambhalungi. Aur sab kya sochhenge ki", Naina was cut in between by Nanu, " Sameer, samjhaya nahi jo maine kaha tha"?
"Sab bol diya Nanu. Ye na iske dimaag me kuch jaata hi nahi hai to mai kya karun", Sameer replied in his defence.
"Beta tum ye sab sochna band karo ki log kya kahenge. Hamari bahu is kaabil hai tabhi to humne use ye zimmedari di hai. Aur tum to isse bhi badi zimmedariyan akele smbhaal sakti ho. ye paarkhi nazre kabhi dhoka nahi kha sakti. Ab ye sab chodho aur chalo mai tumhe sabse milwata hun", Nanu asked Sameer and Naina to come along.
Nanu introduced Naina to every single person working in the office, right from the peon to the administrative heads. The warmth with which Nanu met everyone, made Naina realise the reason behind his success. The respect which exuded out of every employee's eyes for Nanu, reflected the thoughtful and considerate nature of Nanu with which he had built everything. She mentally noted that even if she didn't achieve something big in her life, she ought to work hard so that Nanu's name is never tarnished. After the formal introduction was done, Nanu asked Sameer to take Naina to home as Vishakha and Vivek were due to arrive soon along with Rohan and Deepika. When he had told them about Sameer and Naina wanting to get married, to his utter surprise, Vivek had accepted the proposal very happily. He was as excited to attend Sameer's marriage as a father should be. Nanu had a fair idea that things had started to improve but that was the first time he had witnessed the changed scenario first-hand. His heart beamed with pride when Sameer told him that Naina and Rohan were responsible for this change. And he had decided right then that Vishakha and Vivek also needed to meet Naina personally and know her better.

Sameer took off his coat and kept it on the sofa "Naina, abhi pata chala hai Mummy ki flight delay ho gayi thi. To ek do ghante deri se ponchenge vo log."
"Sameer, unhe mai acchi to lagungi na", Naina asked nervously.
"Naina hamari na shadi ki date pakki ho chuki hai. Aur tum mummy se phone pe bhi baat kar chuki ho. Aur kitna pasand krenge vo tumhe?" Sameer asked. "Aur haan vo Deepika aur Rohan to hain hi tumhare deewane".
"Haan to tum kyu jealous feel kar rahe ho?" Naina teased Sameer but soon her expression changed to anger "Sameer aise sofa pe kaun coat fenk deta hai. Room me ja ke rakho na. Nanaji sahi kehte hain tum na kuch sochte nahi ho".
Sameer smiled at her as she picked the coat and started walking towards his room. "Itna muskura kyu rahe ho? Mai tareef nahi kar ri tumhari"
Sameer hugged her from behind " Muskura ye soch ke raha hun ki aaj se ek hafte baad to ye daant mujhe har roz padegi na".
"Sameer kya kar rahe ho? Ramdhari bhaiya aa aajaenge", Naina tried to free herself from his grip.
"Are yaar. Tum hamesha pyaar ki dushman kyu bani rehti ho. Use kuch kaam tha to chutthi le ke gaya hai. Shaam tak aaega", Sameer replied.
"To fir sabke liye khana to hoga nahi. Mujhe bana lena chahie na," Naina asked worringly.
"Nainu, vo na abhi thodi der pehle hi gaya hai. Sab taiyari kar ke. Tum na saare romance ka maza kharab kar deti ho," Sameer moved backwards in anger but Naina held her hand immediately stopping him from moving away from her.
Sameer smiled and came closer bridging the gap between them "Mai ye keh raha tha ki jab tum ghar aajaogi tab sab kitna acha hoga na. Mai jab bhi coat aise sofe par rakh dunga, tum mujhe pyaar se daantogi haina?"
"Nahi, mai aapko aisa kuch karne hi nahi dungi. Kya hai na mai bohat strict hun. Sharaarti bacche bohat acche se smbhalne aate hain mujhe", Naina pulled his cheeks lovingly.
"Haaye, itne pyaar se sudharogi to kaun kambakht nahi sudhrega", saying this he took her towards the kitchen " Yahi tum har roz mere liye accha accha khana banaogi aur mai tumhe dekha karunga. Kabhi kabhi help bhi kar dunga par sirf usi din jis din dekhne se fursat milegi".
"Accha help karoge. Chaaku to istemaal karna nahi aata tumhe. Help karenge ye", Naina laughed.
"Tum pyaar vala part badi conveniently filter out kar deti ho na", Sameer complained and continued, "Madam aap Sameer Maheshwari ko samajh nahi paayi hain abhi tak. Tumhare liye mai chaaku use karna to kya, saari sabzziyan banani seekh jaunga. Ye to choti moti batein hain."
"Haan aur fir log kahenge ki Sameer to joru ka gulaam hai", Naina teased him.
"Are duniya ka to kaam hai kehna. Hum thodi kisi se darte hain ", Sameer replied and both burst out in laughter.
"Tum hamesha itne hi pyaare rahoge, Sameer"? Naina looked into his eyes and asked.
"Hayye itna pyaar", Sameer leaned in to capture Naina's lips but Naina being too quick got out of his grip and ran away with Sameer chasing her. Naina ran from one room to another dodging Sameer successfully and ultimately ended up in Sameer's room. As she walked through, the realisation that she would be sharing the room with Sameer very soon, dawned over her, making her go nervous. "Ab kahan bach ke jaogi?" Sameer asked as he stood on the entrance to the room with his hands folded, signalling victory. He walked forward making Naina walk backward.
"Ek baat to maine batayi hi nahi tumhe. Vo ye ki jab tum ghar aajaogi to meri har subah haseen ho jaegi", Sameer said seductively as he held Naina by waist, pulling her close. Seeing no signs of resistance from Naina, he continued "Pata hai kab se is pal ka intezar kar raha tha". He stroked her lower lip with his thumb ,sending chills down her spine "Shaadi vaali raat to nahi rokogi na"? Naina looked sideways, unable to meet his burning gaze and nodded in a neagtive. Sameer smiled and looked at her wondering what has he done in his past life that he got her. "Sameer aise mat dekho na", Naina said. "Kyu na dekhun? Ab to official license hai". He paused and continued, "Jab tum sharmaati ho na aur bhi jyada sundar lagti ho". Sameer kissed her left cheek and proceeded towards her lips when he heard Deepika calling out to him "Sameer bhaiya kahan ho aap. Hum aagaye". "Kaun kehta hai rishta pakka hone ke baad license mil jata hai. Gharwalo ne to romance ki bilkul hi band baja rakhi hai. Chalo aagayin aapki pyaari nand", Sameer said in an irritating tone which made Naina laugh.
As Sameer and Naina walked downstairs, Deepika came running and hugged her bhaiya bhabhi tightly. Seeing the warmth in their relationship, Vishakha and Vivek felt good. Naina came forward and touched their feet. As they settled down, Naina brought snacks and cold drink for them while Sameer lent her a helping hand. When her father had told them about Naina, Vishakha was not sure whether she was the right girl for Sameer or not. Not wanting to snatch away her son's happiness again, Vishakha didn't quite object to the proposal. Though a few days later, one phone call from Naina made all her and Vivek's apprehensions go away. And that day, seeing the love and respect in Sameer and Naina's eyes for each other, they realized why was Sameer's nanu so confident with his choice. Both Vishakha and Vivek had been noticing positive changes in sameer since the time he came to Delhi but it was Rohan who told them on their journey to Ahmedabad that Naina was the one who had brought the much needed peace and calm in Sameer's life. As Naina, Sameer and Rohan chatted and played with Deepika, Vishakha and Vivek looked at each other and smiled feeling relieved that finally Sameer had someone who had the capability to replace all his sad memories with happy moments.

Naina's VO: Aaj bhi bohat acche se yaad hai mujhe meri sagai ka vo din. Saaara ghar mehmaano se bhara hua tha. Vadodra vale mausaji bathroom ke bahar khade ho kar chilla rahe the apni baari ke liye to vahi Dilli vali mamiji apne baccho ko taiyar karne ki naakam koshish me thi. Mumbai vale buaji sabko nasihate de rahe the aur Surat vale chachaji aur rajkot vale fufaji ka *nashta pehle kisko milega* is baat pe jhagda ho gaya tha. Hmm. Aisa hi to hota tha 90s ka vo shadi vala ghar. Aaaj kal ki tarah mehmaano kon guest house me nahi balki ghar me tehraya jaata tha. Dher saare bistar laga ke sab ek hi room me sote the. Aji sote kaha the, raat bhar bas antakshari ka daur hi to chalta tha. Aur istri, sabun, toothpaste, nashta in choti choti baaton par kisi ka kisi ka to jhagda ho hi jata tha. Aur pata hai sabse mazedar kya hota tha, har shaadi vale ghar me ek aise shaks zarur hote the jo hamesha serious mode me rehte the aur kisi na kisi baat par daaantne ke liye taiyar rehte the. Haha vaise vo ek shaks to aajkal ki shadiyo me bhi mil jaate hain. Alag hi rang hota tha 90 ki shadiyo ka. Shadi ka har function kisi hall se nahi balki ghar ki galiyo me tent laga kar hota tha. Vo apnapan, vo utsaah aaj bhi yaad karti hun to man karta hai bas kahin se ek time machine mil jae aur mai vapas usi waqt me chali jaun.
"Naina, beta jaldi kar. Ladke vale aagaye hain", Bela said as she entered the room to see whether Naina was ready or not. "Bhagwan jhooth na bulae, bohat pyaari lag rahi hai. Kisi ki nazar na lage meri bacchi ko", Bela took some kaajal out of her eyes and put a small sized kala tikka on Naina.
"Mummy, maine taiyar kiya hai to acchi kyu nahi lagegi?" Preeti asked, raising her imaginary collar.
"Haan baat to sahi hai. Meri dono betiya ek se badh kar ek hai. Chal ab tu aur Swati Naina ko le kar neeche aajao jaldi se.
Sameer took his seat on the makeshift stage waiting impatiently to see Naina. After every two minutes or so , his eyes would dart towards Naina's balcony hoping to catch a glimpse of her. "Sameer bhaiya, aap upar kyu dekh rahe ho baar baar? Chand to raat me nikalta hai. To is samay aap kya dekh re ho?", asked Deepika causing everyone to focus their attention on Sameer.
"Haan Sameer bhaiya batao na aap upar kya dekh rahe ho?", Pandit imitated Deepika earning an angry glance from Sameer.
"Kyu pareshan kar rahe ho sab mere bhai ko. Apni dulhan ka deedar karne ki koshish kar rahe hain, koi gunaah thodi", Rohant joined in.
"Rohan, tu bhi inke saath reh ke inke jaisa ho gaya?", Sameer asked angrily.
"Are kya matlab hamare saaath reh ke hamare jaisa ho gaya. Smart to apna bhai pehle se hi tha. Kyu Rohan?" asked Munna. "Vaise tu jyada tension na le, bhabhi aati hi hongi. Nahi to tu bole to tujhe upar le chalte hain". Munna's statement made everyone laugh and Sameer gave him a "baad me batata hun" look.
While everybody continued teasing Sameer, Naina walked towards the stage with Preeti and Swati on her side. As Sameer looked towards her, a tear escaped his eye. Naina was wearing his nani's saree, the same saree which Nanu had gifted to her. That moment made him realize once again as to why this girl had stolen his heart so effortlessly. While every bride wished to wear new, trending clothes at her wedding functions, his Naina chose to wear his Nani's saree. She looked breathtakingly beautiful in that saree. But more than that, the love she had for him and Nanu radiated on her face making her stand apart. Wiping away his tears, he looked at Nanu who smiled at him in return, feeling proud and happy at the same time. As Naina stood in front of him, he mouthed a thankyou and Naina smiled assuringly, knowing very well what he must be thinking at that moment. As the two exchanged rings, their friends hooted and clapped while the elders looked at their children with happiness. And Naina and Sameer, they were lost in some other world. They had finally put an official seal on their relationship. Their hearts danced in the music of their union and their eyes sparkled reminiscing their journey together. For, it was not usual for people in the 90s to get their love sanctioned by the society and Naina and Sameer had effectively managed to do so.
After the completion of all rituals, everyone proceeded to have lunch. "Kya dhundh rahe hain aap?", asked Preeti as she saw a confused Rohan trying to find something desperately.
"Ji, ji vo glass dhundh raha tha. Pyaas lagi hai", Rohan fumbled owing to his inexperience in talking with girls.
"Ye lijiye", Preeti fetched him a glass of water from a counter on the other side. "Aap jijaji ke bhai hain na? Mai Preeti hun. Naina ki behan", Preeti tried to take forward the conversation.
"Ji mai jaanta hun. Bhabhi ne bataya hai aapke bare me. Accha laga aapse mil ke. Mai bhai ke paas jaata hun", saying this he left hurriedly.
"Sahi keh ri thi Naina. Ekdum bhola sa hai," Preeti thought to herself and continued serving the guests.
Though the namesake conversation ended abruptly, it was not missed by a certain someone who felt a pang of jealousy overpower him. "Dekha, delhi vaale baazi maar gaye", Pandit spoke to himself. Getting angry, he walked behind Preeti asking her to stop "Dekho Preeti ye bilkul sahi nahi hai haan".
"Kya sahi nahi hai? Khana accha nahi hai ya sharbat?", asked a confused Preeti.
"Mai khane ki nahi, Rohan ki baat kar raha hun. Maaana ki vo Dilli se hai, par hum Ahmedabad vaale bhi kuch kam nahi hain. Ulta hum Ahmedabad vaale Dilli valo s elaakh guna acche hain. Tum maano chahe na maano", Pandit spoke in one breath.
"Tum ye kya bol rahe ho?", Preeti asked again, still confused over Pandit's changed behaviour.
"Itne din se dil lene ki koshish mai kar raha hun. Aur ye Rohan ek din me baazi maar gaya. ye to galat hai na. Kaise khush ho ho ke baat kar rahi thi uske saath. Mujhse to hamesha bhaagti rehti ho", Pandit complained.
Preeti who was till now confused at his antics, smiled a little, finding the very same antics cute. "Pandit ji, vo jo Rohan hai na mujhse ek saal chota hai. To uska to no chance. Aur vo kya hai na vo mujhse paani ka glass maang raha tha. Dil nahi", said Preeti and started walking away. Thinking of something, she turned back, move towards Pandit and said, "Vaise ye dil le lo, dil le lo bolne se na koi ladki haan nahi karti. Kuch aur karna padta hai. Ye lo thanda paani aur aaram se baith ke socho. Kya pata ye jo dimaag tumne aaj tak istemaal nahi kiya, kisi kaam aajae". Preeti handed him a glass of water and ran away leaving Pandit all confused "Ye kya keh ke gayi hai?" "Abe abe ye to haan keh gayi. Ye to maan gayi. Isne to dil le liya", Pandit jumped in excitement. "Kitna bada gadha hun mai. Roka kyu nahi use. Lekin usne haan sidhe se to nahi kaha. Yar usne haan kaha bhi hai ya nahi. Ab kya karna padega. Oho ye ladkiyan bhi na, kitna dimaag chalati hain. Ja ke Munna aur sameer se puchta hun", Pandit excitedly ran towards his friends while Preeti who watched him, hiding behind a pillar "Kuch nahi hoga iska".
