Yeh Un dino ki baat hai jab Ravivar ke din newspaper lamba aur mehenga hua karta tha. Agar daily newspaper Re 1 ka ho toh Sunday newspaper Rs 5 ka. Aur ho bhi kyun na, usmein itna kuchh jo hota tha padhne ke liye...Extra columns, writer columns, editor's note, food column, travel column...padhte padhte poora Sunday aarama se beet jaata tha. Aajkal toh khair online newsletters ka zamana hai. Insaan ko ek button dabate hi newsletter subscription mil jaata hai. Toh humne socha kyun na hum bhi Newsletter banake bheje iss sunday sabko. So yeh raha humara pehla newsletter (On your face, even if you haven't subscribed for it):
Aashirwad
Hello everyone. Welcome to the first edition of BBC (Bakwaas Bhankas Corporation) newsletter highlighting some of the essential aspects of Un Dino.
So before we start with our today's bhankas, let's first recall a Bakwaas song from the 1983 Rajesh Khanna movie "Souten"...Un Dino this song was recreated by Sameer Maheshwari.
Arre Saasu Tirath, Sasura Tirath
Tirath Saala Saali hai
Duniay ke sab tirath jhoothe
Chaaron Dhaam Gharwali hai
So now we all have seen Sameer performing on this song Un Dino at Pooja's wedding sangeet function. Sameer here is seen happily performing in front of his future in-laws and also signalling his future partner about how she is the Chaaron Dhaam Gharwali for him. But what most people fail to notice is the happiness and joy on Sameer's face when he lip-sync's the line "Sasura Tirath"...
So now BBC in its first edition has decided to let's decode the reason behind this mysterious yet happy smile. Though Sameer (lovingly called as Baalon ki Dukaan by his future father-in-law Rakesh Agarwal) would never accept this openly, and would always be seen fearing and running away from Sasurji, but deep down his heart longs for his love and aashirwad. It doesn't matter to Sameer, in what form this aashirwad is as far as it from his Sasurji. Now Rakesh Agarwal being the talented one, he has invented different forms of Aashirwad. It can be in the form of series of slaps, grabbing collars, spilling hot coffee or normal screaming(bhaukna) with rough dialogues. The moment Sameer realized the importance of this aashirwad in his life, he has happily started accepting it. When contacted by our reporter Kamdhari (Keshav + Ramdhari), Sameer 'the Ameerzada' Maheshwari was quoted saying, "Initially my life was pretty dull, I didn't know what to do when life threw problems at me. But the day Rakesh Sir has entered my life, there has been a drastic shift in my stars. I don't know how to explain what changes are happening in my life. But because of his timely Aashirwad I have been saved from many things, plus I have got many important people in my life (like Naina, Preeti, etc) and that is all because of him." Sameer had asked us to keep it a secret, but sorry Sameer, just like Un Dino we also are in need of readers for our newsletter. Hope you understand how media works. 😃😉
So now we will list out those instances for our dear readers where Aashirwad from his Sasur has always saved/helped Sameer in difficult situations. And how this aashirwad has always been a boon for him and has changed his life forever:
1. First time when Sameer and Naina were caught red-handed...no no no mischief here...We know what you are thinking!!😉 ...But let me tell you they were caught red-handed in red-dress in school studying together. That's when Rakesh Sir gave Sameer his aashirwad and indirectly signaled him to stand on his own, study and learn things on his own without Naina's help. (Sasurji is a visionary. He had predicted that there will be a time when CVs will make Sameer face harsh situations in life all alone without Naina, so he took it as his responsibility to make Sameer understand this.)
2. The most important turning point in Sameer's life. When Sameer was accused of stealing, Sasurji came up with his first set of Aashirwad in the form of slaps. Sameer though in his 'Jawaani ka josh', resorted to being a rebel and didn't understand what was the universe conspiring. But as they say jo hota hai achhe ke liye hota hai, universe conspires it's way out and Sameer decided to play 'Lagi Bet' and finally thought of befriending Rakesh's daughter Naina...and the rest is history. That has been the best thing happened to him.
3. When he accidentally broke Sasurji's scooter. Again Sasurji gave him aashirwad by calling him Bighdail Ameerzada. Because of this Sam realized Naina's support and trust for him.
4. When Sameer and Naina were caught red-handed again...this time in a room...though Sasurji smelled mischief there...but no no this time also there wasn't any mischief...But he pasted his aashirwad on Sam's face, and also gave aashirwad by grabbing his collar and slapped him multiple times...That is the day Sam realized Naina's importance in his life all because of Sasurji's aashirwad...He took a stand for Naina's dignity realizing it as his duty to do so...By now Sasurji's aashirwad has been an integral part of his life.
5. Now Sameer's wrong-doings are revealed to Naina, she is not interested in even looking at him. Again Sasurji's aashirwad comes at his rescue. It is as if Sameer sub-consciously wished to come closer to Naina and Sasurji made it true for him. Sasurji punished him to come to his house everyday until his cheater son's recovery and hence Sam was able to acquire a place again in Naina's heart.
6. In this 1.5 months internship at Sasurji's place, Sasurji showered his aashirwad multiple times on him. Sometimes by insulting him, at times slapping him and at times kicking him out of his house. But the best aashirwad in all this was by spilling hot coffee on him. Because of all these aashirwad's Sam got back not only Naina's love, but gained a place in hearts of her family members. He is now Taiji's bholuram, Preeti's Jijaji, Chacha-Chachi's pyaara Sameer...Plus Nanu also appreciated him for keeping his promise...
7. When Sameer left for Delhi (sadly), it was Rakesh Sir again to his rescue. Okay now we understand that as Sameer is far from Ahmedabad, so it took some time for Sasurji's aashirwad to reach Sam easily, but better late than never. Rakesh slapped Munna badly the day they resumed school after Nanu's death...what was that?!... Nothing but aashirwad for his one and only laadla Jamai...he cannot directly reach him so he slapped Munna, and Munna transferred this slap to Sameer at the right time -- Mawali track...So technically who came for Sam's rescue? Again Sasurji's aashirwad...😳👍🏼
8. Okay by now our readers must be convinced that it is all about loving your Sasurji...but still as a final confirmation I will give you all one more instance where Sasurji's aashirwad came to the rescue. Yesterday when Sam tried calling Naina, you all know who picked up the call...After all these months Sam was able to hear his beloved Sasurji's voice...His one loud Hello! was like melody for Sam's ears...Aashirwad again! (Mandir ki ghanti wala music in bg)...And you all know what happened after that...Dadi's full-proof plan to trap Sameer in police's custody was all scrapped...She fell flat on her face 👏...So now don't you think we all can safely say- Sasurji rocked, Daadi shocked...
So we all can safely conclude that Sam's life is incomplete without his Sasurji's aashirwad. Sameer currently is facing so many problems as he is getting his Sasurji's aashirwad very late. But still Sasurji tries his best to reach out to Sameer. So why fear Daadi, when Rakesh Sasurji is sassy!
