Characters are so easy to analyze right? Sameer a character who has a strong conscience, who is charming, is a bit but cutely obsessed with his looks, has his own flaws and commits mistakes, then tries to repair it, is compassionate, loving and respects those who love him. Similarly we all know Naina is loving, caring, is also flawed in her own way, but tries her best to be just, passionate and goal-oriented. Over the past 8 months we all have been presented with these characters with their specific characteristic traits because of which we are able to analyze their behaviour in certain situations in the show. Because of their characteristic traits we are able to understand why did Sameer/Naina behave this way in this situation. In short, they are the masterminds of a human. These characters are developed by humans (writers, directors, etc) and hence according to the need of the hour they are changed, manipulated, modified and sometimes assassinated. In other words, characters are tailor-made.

But on the other hand are humans tailor-made? Okay their body function is, they showing and performing specific humanly traits daily is tailor-made but is their every move, every action tailor-made just like the characters of the show? No right...Now for instance when Mukesh Khanna played Shaktimaan, at many interviews and public appearances it was natural for people to ask him to do something that Shaktimaan did...may be show some superpower prowess or try to rotate around and fly 😆...Now as a normal human is it possible for him to do so? Now when I was a kid, infact I don't know if I would have met him in person even I would have asked him to do the same...😆...but now obviously I understand that he is not Shaktimaan for real...he is Mukesh Khanna...a normal human being.

Infact it is the tendency of humans since ages to blur the lines between a character and the person who plays that character...May be because the actor plays it with so much conviction and dedication that we tend to blur the lines...Blurring the lines is natural for us...but crossing the line is definitely in our control...Infact nowadays I believe being an artist in this digital world is like getting crushed and choked from all the directions...Un Dino ki baat alag thi when an artist was judged whole and sole for his performance on screen and stage, not for his personal life, personal behaviour, and personal relations...Indeed paparazzi was there in the old era as well, but the number of cameras now on a person are much more than what they were before...Plus he has his own personal cameras and PR to manage with the changing times...

Now the times have changed...marketing happens in a lot different way than what it was before...and not only in acting field but in all the fields...Initially after the movie or show release the artists used to give 2-3 interviews in some famous tabloids and shows and that's it...But now an actor has to appear on 400 Youtube channels, 200 TV interviews, plus arrange live chats and live sessions on his personal profile...But again the blurring of lines is still going in the audience's mind...They still mix up the artist and the character he plays...and when that bubble breaks they are not able to digest the fact...And then starts an all new cycle of assumptions whether he/she in reality is like the character or not...but his/her latest interview seemed like he/she is same like the character...may be he/she is not that soft-spoken in reality...may be he/she is not on good terms with each other...he/she was not smiling...was not cracking jokes in the interview...blah blah blah...But what people forget these days is this is not the only interview they are supposed to give...they have to appear in so many interviews at so many places that that as a human being they have to fit in just like all of us try to fit all their work in 24 hrs...Now I don't keep smiling 24 hrs a day...I don't chit-chat with my best colleague 24 hrs with my mouth wide open flashing my 32 teeth...

I remember one of my old colleagues...we are still in contact...we were and still are on very good terms with each other...But now everyday while working in my old company...I didn't go and sit next to him and talk all the time...there were times when we used to be so busy and involved in our work that we used to hardly get time to even say Hello...but that doesn't mean that people in our office started talking about us and saying we are not cordial anymore...not on good terms...and blah blah...and then there was this other colleague with whom I didn't like to work much...he was an excellent employee ...very good at work but there were few difference of opinions...but that doesn't mean we were not on talking terms...we talked less and had a cordial relation...that's how workplaces work be it any field...even if there are differences and there would be because we are two different people with different set of opinions...we are not tailor-made...that doesn't mean people in our office started saying that 'Oh she doesn't respect him, oh she always insults him...oh he is very proud to talk to her...blah blah...' We as generation are actually so tired these days that many times we don't even have the energy to give someone negative energy or fight...infact we prefer keeping it low-key and keeping things cordial and jaroorat padne tak...cause otherwise that would ruin the decorum of the workplace and would invite unnecessary gossip.

Similarly actors...they are at a workplace...plus their workplace is not like us 8 hrs and dukaan bandh...they spend their maximum hours together...at times days...it is but natural as a human being that seeing or being in touch with people for more than 24 hrs makes you feel tired...that doesn't mean there is some problem between them...they just get tired like how we all get tired...Plus the pressures on them are different these days...the production house makes them/asks them to do ample of interviews, public appearances and every interview they are asked to do different things and behave in certain ways by the PH and the interview channel...Interviews are also tailor-made...

So let's just go back to the era where an artist was respected for his craft, where inspite of him being flawed person in real his movies went housefull...where inspite of his flaws, his character was discussed, analyzed, talked about and watched mutiple times than his 2 interviews in the tabloid...Cause Yeh Un Dino Ki Baat Hai jab duniya aur marketing simple hua karti thi...Let's not forget they are humans, they are at times puppets of PH, they are at a workplace...Let's stop scrutinizing every move of every person...Even if the actor in realty is a flawed human or a saint...Just like we won't like if our personal life and personal relations are discussed at our workplace instead of our hard-work, similarly they also want their work to be discussed and not their interviews...

PS: I have never been on any shipping post...neither I support nor do I oppose shipping...I personally don't like to ship actors and hence I never comment or talk about...I don't even discuss their interviews..I watch it and forget it...but since last few days I have been observing a wave of negativity on the forum and that is disturbing cause I and many of us come here to celebrate the show, the characters and the actors for their acting, not for their personal behaviour and personality traits...Sorry if I have offended someone...This is my POV...And sorry for a long post...Main toh thakkk gayi Praful...😆

Disclaimer- This post is in no way intended to target any particular set of people...shippers, non-shippers or semi-shippers...It is for all in general...I respect all viewpoints and if I don't agree with something I prefer ignoring it rather than discussing it...So it is a humble request - No body would question anyone's love for Samaina here..irrespective of whether they are a shipper or nonshipper...please we all love them...
No one is degrading anybody in my threads guys...pyaar baant te chalo...😃...humein abhi kuchh aur din takli dadi ko jhelna hai😆...aise karoge toh kaise chalega...😆

Zulu, u have put it out in the best way possible.
What goes on in the personal front of the actors is honestly not my concern though I like to read and forget the gossip.

What we shd see is the actors for their acting and not for anything else. Being on camera 24*7 must be tiring just like how our own work is.

PS: I second ur thoughts with shipping as well.😆

Hai hai praful what is?

Aptly said Zulu. I agree with every word you have written. Many of us come here because we love the show and the forum. We celebrate the shows ups and feel bad when it goes down. But we are here coz we connect with the show and the characters.
I too personally dont ship any actors. That dosent mean i oppose those who ship them but just that i am not a shipper. Thats why no comments on shipping post. For me they are characters played by actors and i love those characters. I love Samaina and root for them.
Nothing more to say, you have said it all. Brilliant post Zulu.

Thanks a lot Zulu for this post🤗 I hope people understand what you want to convey through this post.

Media, Media, Media everywhere. We are witnessing a time when even sneezing/coughing by a superstar is sold to us as a breaking news. Think over this folks. Do we really need to know all these details about someone? No, not at all. Everything, right from the interviews of lead actors, spoilers, unseen pictures and videos of the set, is pre planned. We are made to see things which will increase our curiosity for the show. This is pure marketing. They want to sell their product so they will sell it no matter what. We fans, on the other hand get so attached to the show that we stop seeing through all this. No matter how big a fan you are, no matter how much you love a celebrity, at the end of the day, the celebrities have their own lives to live. Yes, they appreciate us, yes they love us but they don't stop living their lives for us.

Coming to Ashdeep interview, I don't understand the need to compare RD and Ashi. Eery person reacts differently to situations or other people. No two people can ever be same. Ashi and RD both are different and they need not always react in the same manner. And anyway how can we judge people on the basis of few IVs? Some might appear rude while in reality they can be introverts or maybe they can't be too comfortable with everyone. Some might appear sweet while in reality they might be faking it. Kitni bhi debate kr lo, we won't be able to find out what they actually are by watching their IVs.

We are getting way too personal with them. On one hand, we claim to love them, go overboard by praising them and on the other hand, if we don't get to see what we want, we outrightly start hating them. Why? Why do we expect them to always smile for us? Why do we expect them to always behave in a way we want them to? They are humans, they work 16-17 hours a day, still find out time to give interviews for us. Appreciate them. Ashi had exam, RD clearly looked tired when they shot for GV . Still, they chose to give the interview. Why can't we appreciate that?

An actor's job is to act and entertain us. We should expect them to perform better with each passing episode. And if they don't, we have all the rights to criticise them. But for me getting personal in an open forum is not at all acceptable. Yes, it is difficult to ignore everything that come our way, but we can at least try not to analyse them for each and every action of theirs.
Show aur Sabki acting enjoy kro 😉

P.S. :My post is not directed to anyone. This is my POV. Please don't take it otherwise.

This much needed post on the forum
And here people actually giving opinion about the pesrson which they felt get insulted by the costar and not giving importance to him/her and I wanna isn't that particular person also too concern about it ? Is she/he really give interview together if something is wrong between them ?
Really like us they are also human and have lots of mood swings as well and only few minutes of interview we can't be know ,what actually going on actors mind or what situation he is going through
I don't be mind shipping but still don't want to ever cross my limits .
We know actors only by their performances and we can't actually able to assume real behaviour without meeting or spending time and those who work together for so many hours knows better .

First of all superb post zullu 👏
The negativity that is everywhere because people had high expectations, they thought that the world will go according to their wishes. Their assumption is correct and reality is not.
When they realised their assumption is wrong they come up with new conclusion.

We all are like this once in a life we think that world around us is according to our thought process. But when reality slap us we take time to process it.

Everyone's high expectations is the reason of negativity. Judging people by just appearing in few minutes iv or segment is completely senseless. They are star agree but they are human being too. They can do that things that we do in normal life with friends and family.
They too have a personal life to live. We should respect that and them.😊
