A deep fried potato chaat from the streets of Delhi. Tossed in tamarind and mint chutney, this fried aloo chaat is a must try.
Ingredients Of Dilli Ki Fried Aloo Chaat
- 2 medium potatoes (boiled, peeled and cubed) (Dukan dar se bargain kar paaye to do teen aur daal dena)
- 1 onion (chopped) (Bhabhiji ki kanjoosi kabhi nahin talegi)
- 1 green chilly( Mirch to mujhme jyada hai)
- Handful of fresh coriander leaves (Ameerzaade ka chal hai yeh)
- 4 Tbsp fresh tamarind chutney (Bade bhai sahab nahin denge mujhe imli/tamarind)
- 2 Tbsp hot mint chutney (Thodi chutney bhi dene ki izzat nahin hai iss gahr mein..Skipping this)
- 1 lime (Yeh kya hai?)(Bas din bhar awaragardi karte raho koi lime ka ped na lagao)
- 1 spring onion (NOT AVAILABLE)
- A pinch of chaat masala (Yeh balon ka dukan ko bol dunga lane ke liye)
- Salt to taste (Mera Arjun zaroor ek number ka namak laayega)
How to Make Dilli Ki Fried Aloo Chaat
1.Deep fry the boiled potatoes until golden and crisp, drain excess oil on absorbent kitchen paper and put them into a bowl.- (Sab bas matargashti karte raho yeh nahin ki guru ka aloo ko fry karen.Sab mujhe ki karna padega.
- Bhabhiji ek bowl bhi nahin denge.Iss ghar mein koi izzat hi nahin.)
- 2.Add the chopped onion, green chilly and coriander leaves. Then add the tamarind and mint chutney.

- 3.Squeeze in the lime juice, add the chaat masala, spring onion and season with salt.

- 4.Mix everything together nicely to combine.

- 5.Serve hot or warm in small bowls.
