That's a horrible incident to witness as a child n moreover for the innocent girl who was just saved from being a victim of child rape...only because of you. But then nothing happened to the man right. As always. You are very right in saying that lecherous men like him think that they have right over any woman. And yes, I'm fully agreeing here with you- Sameer Maheshwari did stoop to a level last night, from where redemption is not possible. Being silent to a crime of this level (given his moral compass was all right like a week back) n defending the same men- makes him a party to the crime. It's a betrayal towards Naina...who once again decided to trust him and love him with all his heart. It is a betrayal to the loving audience, who enjoyed Sameer's journey of transformation and penance as the show's summary states and came to adore and worship the man he became. Only to be let down. And I really do not buy the arguments about him being young (he's not a kid). Or him having a disturbed childhood (in which case he should have been extremely spoilt by now). Our Sameer knew how to respect women. Our Sameer never let down the people who trusted him like his Nanu, Mundit n Naina...but this is someone else. I'm sure Mundit are going to have a shock of their lives. I hope they tell Naina to forget him. Kitna bhi acha redemption ho...har baar galti ki maafi nahi milti. Aur Sameer pehle bhi galti nahi gunah kar raha hai. I'm doubtful if he really loves Naina now ya sirf uski care n affection ke aage behek gaya tha. Isse acha to wo chalu type, swag wala Sameer tha. Uspe se when he said kal ki Naina ajooba thi...aakhir saccha pyaar karne walon ko ajooba hi kahenge na. Matlab Sameer ne saccha pyaar nahi kiya? Sorry to sound negative yaar, but itne negative episodes dikhayenge to feedback bhi negative hi hoga na

@Viollete - i have taken counselling and it has helped but again somethings still haunt u. more than the incident the thing that haunts me if i had not reached there on time?
i m engaged in many activities in Melbourne as well as in India... taking sessions on bad touch and good touch even before it got famous... mostly i go to slumps where women r subject to these things everyday...

i talk to gals as well as boys (boys getting raped are also getting prevalent)... inculcating in both genders that we need to stand for each other, to make out what is right what is wrong at young age, making their parents understand that listen to your child wen they come to you instead of thinking they are making stories, know their friends, make education of utmost important, not discriminate between gals n boys... taking sessions for teaching self defence since everyone cant afford to learn martial arts or something else...

i used to go to orphanage every week twice to teach kids... i m doing as much as i can so that i can do a bit whatever it is...

i know small things dont make bigger impact... but like my mom always says boond boond se hi sagar bharta hai...

so i m contributing to my part...

Dhruvi di first of all salute to u for what u did for that girl and ur maid also
Sameer our favourite character who fought with boys when tgey said something against his mom who helped a girl who complained him
He took the blame to save a girl from her father slapping him
He was the one who praised her in front of her taiji
He was the one who denied kamyas proposal politely
He was the one who dint touched his love his dreams
He was the one who got angry while seeing some boys lusting over photos of other girls and got angry after knowing his girl got a photo clicked in studio
He was the one who brought candyfloss for his sis when he saw her returning sadly

But now what is he
He is a boy who smokes with his friends who plays cards who along with his friend is a mute inspectator of eve teasing who did nt stopped his so called friends from misbehaving with girls he said sorry to man whom he hit for his friends but he dint asked sorry to girls who were teased
Even if he has not teased the girls he is an equal partner in crime
If something happens with our sis mother gf wife we start fighting but what about others whom u see being silent i think the person who watches all this silently is also equally involved in that shameful act

This is just my pov i do not want to spread negativity

@Minu - thanks for your reply... i m just too dejected to accept that its too difficult to show that he cant stand up against his so called friends?

how many times in real life do we find out whats going on in the mind of the predator? nobody does that... the innocence is defintely lost and the scars are left for the lifetime.

and no i m not leaving the forum, i was just amazed as to see how people here are reacting and terming my POV with real examples as spreading negtivity

I agree. No redemption possible now.I dont think i can really adore or like sameer from now on whatever they show.He was friends with those knowingly what they are upto & beating others. He hit the boy who wanted to save the girl in last episode. Its not flaw its plain bad character.I hope people really post mssges to CVs

@Aaisha - we are all strong gals n we do fight back... but it hurts wen its seen like okay ye hota hai realistic hai... kitni cheezen dikhaten hain jo realistic nai hai per ye realistic hona bahot zaroori hai... nice...
and for me also any redemption can never make up for what is being shown... people who think things happen i have a question for them as well --

why not go and check the whole mawali gang? they all might b nice guys? just like Sameer they might have a bad story? they might b alone as well? so lets figure that out as well

Remember she was shown very strict on thise norms.

Ruchi it hurst to know that u had faced that urself and i m glad that u spoke about it... but still we live in the country where people instead of taking action do not even let people talk about it...

yes we loved all the flawed characters... my only hope was looking at the present condition of women in our country, CVs cud have once taken it and stick to the very inherent quality of Sameer of respecting women... alas may b i asked too much

In this whole mawali track, I can tolerate everything but Sameer being the part of the eve teasing gang is just pinching me too hard and he knows it's very wrong. It's not like that mawali gang is his best friends that it's hard for him to leave them.

Sameer drinking, smoking, fighting is fine by me as he used to do it before also and it's an individual choice.

Please, I am not judging the track and I have full faith on the CVs as they have always given us best and I hope they give us the best in the future.
As a loyal viewer, I will stand by my show but I am just stating my displeasure over the eve-teasing as it's a very sensitive topic.

Thanks Mayashika

i was/am an ardent viewer of the show... and thats why i expected they cud show something which will bring in postivity but i think i expected way too much
