Part 5
Naina reached at Preeti's residence late night, Preeti was eagerly waiting to meet Naina on the other side Naina equally eager to meet Preeti after a long time. As soon as Preeti saw Naina getting down from the car, she ran and hugged Naina from the back, tears started trickling down from her eyes. Even Naina was emotional and started crying.
Preeti said, "Kitne Mahinon baad mil rahi hoon tujhe meri jaan, I missed you so much. Thanks for coming dear. Now we are going to rock.
Naina said, "Jijaji tujhe manners sikha rahe hai kya? What thanks and all. Mujhe toh ana hi tha. How can I miss my best friend's wedding and promise that we made to each other to have fun in our weddings.
They both hugged each other tightly again, by the time Preeti's mom came there she too hugged Naina and welcomed her. She said, "Thank god you came. Now the entire responsibility of Preeti is with you, I have to look after so many preparations and there was no one to help me.
Naina replied, "Don't worry aunty, maine sab dekh lungi and they all went inside.
On the other side Sameer to reached his home and as soon as the car stopped near the gate he just ran inside the home screaming Ma, Bhai...me aagaya ...kaha ho aap sab. Sameers Mom came running from the kitchen after hearing his voice and there was a broad smile on both of their faces. Sameer hugged her and gave a forehead kiss and said, "Ma bhuk lagi hai...joro ki..khana do na. Meanwhile Rohan came downstairs from his room followed by Sameers Dad, Dada & Dadi and there was hell lot of noise in the house and Dadi said, "Aa gaya mera hero, ab dekho kaise raunak aagayi ghar maine, mera bacha. She kissed his forehead and gave blessings and she called Rohan and gave a kiss to him as well. Mere bachaas kush raho.
Sameer greeted Dada & his Dad and did charan sparsh. Dadaji was angry and said, "tum log jab bhi charan sparsh karte ho mujhe lagta hai maine buddha ho gaya hoon. There was a silence after listening to this and then all busted out & then Sameer hugged Dadaji and said, "I love you my dear friend sorry appko buddha bana diya.
Then Sameer turn towards Rohan and said "aaja ab teri bari, mera bhai, mera dost and he kissed his cheeks. Rohan said, "ye kya kar raha hai. Sameer said, "Pehle toh acha lagta tha, ab kya hua...sirf Bhabhi se chahiye kya?. Rohan said, "Sameer ke bachee and ran behind him. Sameer started jumping on the sofa's and ran upsatirs Rohan too followed him in his room.
Meanwhile Ma said, "Fresh hoke jaldi niche aa...bhuk lagi hai sabko. Everyone was waiting for him to come so that they can have a dinner together and chat on the table.
Naina & Preeti finished with the dinner and they were having a chat in Preeti's room. They were lying on the bed and Preeti was telling Naina how she met Rohan, how the marriage talks kick started. Naina was eager to know the Preeti ki Pyar ki kahani
Preeti was a famous Hair Stylist, she was having her Spa's & Saloon's in Delhi. She was also conducting the classes and certificate courses. Once Rohan visited her saloon for a hair cut and her assistant had messed up with his hair. Rohan started shouting at the assistant and demanded to meet the owner of the saloon. Preeti was sitting upstairs in her cabin, as soon as Rohan saw Preeti he is mesmerized by her soft voice and simplicity. She politely asked him to sit down and understand his complaint; she too called the assistant and asked him what the issue was. Assistant agreed that he got scared and hence this mistake happened. Post that he apologized to Rohan and Preeti and went down stairs. Preeti then took Rohan downstairs gave him a haircut along with new look. She ensured that the same assistant was present and she trained him making him understand the small details. Rohan was very happy with this new look and her gesture and the way she calmly handled the situation. Preeti was denying taking a payment from Rohan, but he insisted saying I like your humanity and the way you handled your colleagues. Preeti was obliged with Rohan's behaviour. Preeti took a pause and said this was our first meeting.
Naina was curious to know how the marriage talks began. Preeti continued with her story, post that we met in a party thrown by Dad when he won the business deal. Rohan along with his parents attended that party and during that time, his parents initiated a talk with Dad to which both family agreed and that is how we are here and you are here for my marriage.
Naina hugged Preeti and gave a kiss on her cheek and asked, "toh Jijaji se baat hoti hai ya nahi, milti hai ya nahi? Preeti replied, "Woh toh phone chodte hi nahi hai, na khud kaam karte hai na mujhe karne dete hai, ab toh khair hum dono ne official chutti le li hai.
Naina cut her conversation and insisted "mujhe baat karni hai Jijaji se to which Preeti said, "nahi abhi nahi. She started begging her and during the same time Preeti's phone rang, and it was Rohan on the other side. Naina was so happy wheh she saw Rohan name flashing on the phone.
Preeti picked the call and told Rohan that Naina reached Chandigarh and was with her now. Rohan was aware in detail about Preeti & Naina's friendship and how close they both are with each other.
Naina once had a talk with Rohan when she was in Mumbai. Preeti handed over the phone to Naina. Jija-Sali had a good talk, ek dusre ki bahot khichai ki. Rohan assured her that I am going to search Dulha for you and ensure that you too get married soon, to which Naina replied, please Jiju Hitler jaise baat mat karo, please let me enjoy the marriage. Post which they laughed loudly and then Naina handed over a phone to Preeti.
Preeti asked Rohan, Did Sameer arrived? Rohan replied, "Yes but he is sleeping now. He just went near to the bed, sat beside him, kept his hand on Sameer head and was playing with his hairs. Shayad so gaya. He too was insisting to talk with you but we had long dinner and then it was too late. I was not able to sleep without hearing your voice so gave you a call.
Sameer was awake and was listening his Bhaiya and Bhabhi conversation. He quickly snatched the phone and said, "Bhabhi maine soya nahi hoon, I was waiting to speak with you and eager to meet you tomorrow. They both had a talk and the he handed over the phone to Rohan. Before disconnecting Rohan please be ready by 8.00 am and haan ensure that Naina is accompanying us. They both said good night and slept.
Naina was in Preeti's arm & Sameer was in Rohan's arm.
Before any marriage rituals began, there was a tradition in Maheshwari's house that in Bride & Groom presence they hae to give pooja in the temple at their village. Village was around 70- 80 kms away from Chandigarh and Rohan was going to come and collect Preeti at 8.00 am. It was decided that Dada & Dadi will accompany Rohan & Preeti, since everyone else was busy in marriage preparation. Now even Sameer & Naina were added to the list.

Rohan was at Preeti's place along with Dada, Dadi & Sameer. They all were sitting in the living room. Preeti's Dad welcome them, insisted to have breakfast and then leave for the journey.
Rohan introduced Sameer to Preeti's family member. Sameer realized he forget the gift in the car that he had brought for his Bhabhi, he excused all of them and ran to bring the gift from the car.
Meanwhile Preeti & Naina entered the living room, Preeti did charan sparsh to Dada & Dadi and introduced Naina to them. Dadaji was mesmerized seeing Naina, he immediately initiated a handshake and said Friends? to which Naina replied, "yes friends. She did charan sparsh to both Dada & Dadi. Dadiji softly said in her ears please dont mind Dadaji's behaviour he is mischievous.
Rohan got up, gave a side hug to Naina and said very happy to meet you Sali ji...welcome to Chandigarh & our marriage. Naina said Thankyou Jiju.
Naina too brought a gift (Kurta) for her Jijaji and she handed over to him stating, "we are meeting for the first time and this is my small gift to remember our first meeting, could you please open and see whether you liked it or not.
Rohan was opening the gift and Naina was standing in front of him. Sameer entered the living room and seeing Sameer, Naina said, "No..No...No...No, Aise nahi ho sakta, Yeh kaha se aa gaya. Rohan replied, "Kya bol rahi ho, kya No No, Kon nahi aa sakta, kuch problem hai kya kurti maine, galat leke aayi ho kya? Naina said, "Nahi Jiju and pointed finger towards Sameer.
Rohan turned around and saw Sameer coming with a broad & mischievous smile on his face. He came and stood beside Rohan and Rohan introduce him to Naina as his younger brother...Preeti ka Devar.
Naina was in a shock of her life; Preeti immediately came and made her realize that everyone are looking at her. Rohan introduced Naina to Sameer stating, "meet my ek lauti Saali Ji Sameer immediately initiated a handshake and Naina had no option left over and has to reciprocate it back. Sameer said, "Hello Naina Ji & winked and then Rohan asked, "looking after both of your expression I feel you both know each other. Sameer said, "Bhaiya bahot lambi kahani hai, fursat me batata hoon, ab chale warna late ho jayenge. He handed a gift to Preeti, they all had a breakfast and left for the village.
Sameer was driving a car and Dadaji was sitting with him on front seat. Naina & Dadi were seating on middle seat & lovebirds were seating on back seat. Dadaji was fun loving, cracking jokes and listening to Dada & Dadi marriage stories, they reached their destination. They directly went to the temple, finished pooja and decided to go to their farmhouse for the lunch.
They all were heading towards the car so that they can go to farmhouse. There were few children's playing cricket and the ball hit the car & the children were hell scared as they saw Sameer approaching towards them. They all were in statue position. Sameer went and stand in front of them and asked, "kaun balling kar raha tha? and gave a smile to them They all relaxed and smiled back. He took the bat from one boy and started playing cricket with them. After playing couple of balls, he gave them an ice cream and also brought for all of them. Naina was surprise by his behaviour, she somehow realized that him sending a cake and apologising was genuine one.
It was around 3.00 pm they reached their farmhouse. It was lovely place surrounded by different trees and flower plants. There was a small water stream flowing at the backside. It was lovely place. They all finish the lunch and it was around 4.30 pm. Dadi insisted that they should leave by 5.00 pm so that they can reach home before dark. But she was aware Preeti & Naina were visiting this place for the first time and hence she ensure that they are enjoying it and took them to show each and every part of farm house.
Rohan and Sameer were damn happy because this was their favourite place and they can do anything to stay here. Naina & Preeti insisted to see water stream and Dadi fulfilled their wish. She took both of them to see water stream. They sat near to the stream keeping their legs into the water. Dadi said this is my favourite place your Dadaji brought me here and proposed me for the marriage. He was having a beer bottle & rose in his hand. Rose to propose & beer to celebrate his victory over me. This place is very dear and special to my heart and I am glad that you both visited this place.
Preeti gave a tight hug to Dadi and said thanks for coming into my life and accepting me as your daughter in law. Dadi said you are my granddaughter and not daughter in law and she kissed her forehead.
Dadaji was sitting on the chair, Rohan & Sameer came near to him and started pressing his legs. Dadaji quickly said, "Kya chahiye.
Sameer replied, "We don't want to go today, can we stay here tonight and have a bachelor party. Dadu please mann jao na, kuch toh jugaad karo..Please
Dadu said, "Car kharab ho sakti hai kya? Sameer said, "Hanji, kyun nahi. Rohan said, "aur mechanic ko maine sambhalta hoon.
Dadaji asked, "Beer bottles ka kya & Dadi ka kya. Sameer said, "Beer bottles meri jimedari & Rohan & Sameer both said "Dadi aapki jimedari and they chuckled. Dadaji said, "Kameeno marwoge mujhko. They quickly made a plan.
Meanwhile Dadi, Naina & Preeti arrived and they all headed towards the car. Again, Sameer was on driving seat, he acted to start the car and said car is not getting start. He asked all of them to get down and asked caretaker to call mechanic immediately. Please jaldi bulana, hamine late ho raha hai. In 15 mins mechanic arrived and he said, there is some problem in the car and he need to check which will take around 3 to 4 hours.
Dadi was tensed, Dadaji came to her and said, "Tum tension mat lo, maine hoon na, hum ghaar jayenge chahe jitna bhi late ho jaye. Dadi replied, "tum ho isilye mujhe tension hai, mujhe sab pata hai ab mera mooh mat khulvaw in baccho ke samne, subah se yahi ratt laga rahe the..aaj yahi rukte hai aur ye sab tumne hi kiya hai. Dada was a superb actor and said, "tum mujhpe ilzaam nahi laga sakti aur haan hum itni raat ko travel nahi karenge ye mera order hai, tum dono ghar maine phone karke bata dena aur ye bhi kehna bachiya safe hai hum subah pahuch jayenge.
Preeti & Naina were confused and looked at each other with surprise look. Sameer quickly moved away from the place and Rohan said I would go near to mechanic, let me see what he is doing.
Dadi called back to both houses, explained the situation and mentioned they shall reach home next day morning. Dadi was furious and was continuously fighting with Dadaji. Preeti & Naina headed towards the kitchen to check whats cooking for dinner. Naina said to Preeti, "I am so jealous, you have been blessed with such a loving family
Sameer was smart enough to quickly organize all the stuffs for party. He arranged for a campfire, they all were sitting surrounding the fire. It was winter and cold breeze was flowing. Sameer quickly said, "thand lag rahi hai dadu, beer mil jati toh maja ata, check karu kya, shayad Ramdhari ke paas ho. Dadu replied, "haan ja check kar.
Dadi got angry and said, "ab mil hi jayegi Ramdhari ke pass, sab soch samaj ke kiya hai tum logo ne. Sameer brought beer, wine (for ladies) and his Guitar. Dada, Rohan & Sameer raised a toast and started drinking the chilled beer. Dadi too had a wine along with Preeti. Naina refused to have anything but was enjoying the Maheshwari's drama.
Dada ji sang a song, "Ruth na jana tum se kahu toh, maine in aankhon maine jo raho toh... Dadi had a smile on her face and said Nautanki...Dadaji gave her a flying kiss.
Rohan sang a song, "Tumse milke aisa laga tumse milke aarman hue pure dil ke... Preeti had a tears in her eyes. She too joined him, "mere sanam teri kasam chodenge na ab hum ye sath...
Sameer played a guitar and sang, "Do dil mil rahe hai magar chup ke chup ke, sab ko ho rahi hai khabar chup ke chup ke
It was Naina's turn and she sang, "Ajeeb dastaan hai ye kaha shuru kaha khatam ye manzile hai kaunsi na tum samaj sake na hum
Sameer played a soft music, Dadu came near Naina and asked for a dance, she too agreed. Rohan started dancing with Preeti & Sameer with Dadi. They all were enjoying and having fun. Sameer gave a hint to Naina that let Dada & Dadi dance, she quickly noded her head. They 4 came near to each other, Sameer quickly insisted Dadaji to dance with dadi.
He then offered Naina to dance and forwarded his hand towards her. She too gave her hand in his hand and kept one hand on his shoulder. Her eyes were closed when Sameer touched kept his hand on her waist but she didn't express anything so that he should not get embarrassed. Their eyes were speaking with each other. There was a deep conversation happening through their eyes but they both were unable to speak with each other. It was unknown feeling which they never felt before.
Ramdhari came and stated dinner is ready and they all came back from dream world. They all had a dinner. Dada & Dadi was tired they went for sleep. Rohan & Preeti went for a walk. Naina & Sameer were sitting alone near the campfire. Naina asked Sameer can we go near to water stream to which Sameer said why not. He asked, can I take a beer bottle with me, she replied okay.
They both sat near to stream. The stars were twinkling in the sky along with full moon. Light music of the flowing water and it was a blissful night. Naina initiated a conversation stating, I was so wrong to understand you, you sincerely tried to apologies but I didn't accept nor thanked you for cake & lovely flowers. Sameer replied, "don't worry it happens, when you don't know the person this is natural behaviour
Naina said, "But I really want to thank you today from bottom of my heart. Sameer replied, "you are always welcome. He then offered her a beer, she refused, he then asked you don't drink? She replied, I drink but only with my Papa & Bro. So you only drink with them because you trust them correct, Sameer asked? Naina softly said, "Yes. Then he said, you are an interesting girl. He just plucked a rose flower from a plant and gave it to her. She to smiled and took it from him.
Sameer asked Naina, "what do you expect from life? to which Naina replied, "only love and then she asked, "what do you expect? he replied "Success, Money, Fame, Making my parents feel proud about myself and he added I want reach there (his fingers were pointing towards the sky).
Sameer further said, "toh tum shaadi karke settle ho jaaogi Naina replied, "No, first I need to meet right guy then I will think and then she asked what about you to which he replied, "No Love Shuv & No Shadi Wadi only committed towards work and there talks were going on and on.
Sameer was talking about his films, how did he managed to get first break... and Naina was talking about her incidents in hospital. They then realised it was around 1.00pm so they decided to go back to their respective rooms by saying Good Night to each other.
Preeti was in deep sleep, Naina did not disturb her and she too went for a sleep. Rohan was waiting for Sameer, he asked where were you he replied jheel ke pass tha. Rohan asked him to sleep since they need to start early in the morning.
