Rose,
Sameer has to be sent to Delhi for us to see new dynamics. Whether Vishakha is shown as a purely evil mother or a woman forced by circumstances, Sameer and viewers needs to see up close. Only then he can judge her and Somani etc. Then he can decide if he wants to let them go for good and move on with his life. If he has to come out stronger and prove to Somani that he can hold his own he has to be among them and prove na?

Hi Rose
@blue - oh...yeah thats the most dreadful time...

@pink - I was like in your face Somani...he got the total burn from the doctor! even I was expecting her take Sameer along...but then she called Somani🤢

@red - exactly my thoughts! If the reason was Somani and his family for her to keep Sam away from her...thats inexcusable...

Nivi thanks for the caps. After yesterday's episode, I did not even want to watch anymore. But that addiction kicked in and I am glad it did. 😊

Today i felt I am watching Un Dino... Very very well executed episode. 😊

SMP...no words...their friendship and commitment to each other is priceless. Such friendships did exist back then. Also, I have to add, this is one of the rare moments where I have seen a medical emergency being shown in a very realistic way in a desi soap. I have been in the same postion as Sam...except it was my father. Today was nostalgic for me in so many ways...when the most bitter truth of all..death suddenly stares at us...our first instinct is denial...and then fear...I am so glad the director got this right. And my Randeep baccha was just awesome. If you compare Randeep's emotinal scenes in earlier episodes to today's episode...it is amazing how far he has come. 👏

The village scene was comedy. Naina's restlessness for sam's well being shows how she is taking baby steps towards becoming the Hercules in Sam's life just like Shashi is in Sumeet Sir's life. I have a gut feeling Naina's character will have the biggest transformation after leap. From a soft spoken timid girl who barely opens her mouth at home...to a girl who will be a rock in Sam's life...it is huge...😊😳

Somani again tried to find fault with Sam but the doctor saved him. Sam did turn to go in but when he saw Somani following Vishakha he stopped. Another reason i think is...if I heard it correctly, Vishakha said..Main papa ko dekhke aati hoon. And she calls Somani. Sam was expecting that she would ask him to come. She did not . That was another disppointment. 😭

Being a mother myself, I have no sympathy for a mother like Vishakha. The CVs can show her as a victim of cruel MIL...but my question is ..when she saw how Somani and her MIL is not accepting Sam, why did she not walk out? Why could she not stay a single mother, look after Sam? She had Nanu's support. If anyone mistreats my kids, I would not think twice before breaking all civilities and take that person to task. Sam has lost his childhood memories because of his mother. Can Vishakha return his childhood? No.

As for Sam leaving for Delhi..I am wondering why he can't stay in a hostel at Ahmedabad? Afterll, he has always lived in hostel. That way he could be near Mundit and Naina. Why send Sam to Delhi? Just to show him getting tortured???😭

Overall a very balanced episode...a very realistic approach to life...Every moment in a corner of this earth, there is someone who is facing death or other catastrophe...while in another corner of the same earth, there is someone who is perhaps having the best day of his/her life...this is life...

Zindagi ke rang kai re
saathi re
Zindagi ke rang kai re
Zindagi dilon ko kabhi todti bhi hai
Zindagi dilon ko kabhi jodti bhi hai
Zindagi ke rang kai re
Zindagi ke raho mein khushi ke phool bhi
Zindagi ki rah mein ghamo ke dhool bhi
Zindagi ke rang kai re
Zindagi kabhi yakeen kabhi guman hai
Har kadam pe tera mera imtahan hai
zindagi ke rang kai re

Thanks Nivi for the caps and the post.

Today's episode was much better than yesterday's episode.

What I liked the most today was how Sameer reacted during the entire sequence of events.

He is just 17 years old. He is still a kid. When the doctor said that Nanaji has got a severe heart attack, I could see the shock, scare and helplessness on his face. He is still young to understand these technical details and we have to remember that it is 1991 and awareness was very little in those days.

All through the episode I could only think of this lost boy Sameer whose world is collapsing in front of him and he is not able to do anything. Randeep dear, kudos. You will go a long way in your acting career. 👏

Munna and Pandit are such good human beings, I wish we have more people like these two in this world. I know separation is on the horizon now, but I want these three to be friends for life.

It is apparent now that Preeti will be Naina's emotional anchor during this Judai time period. She will be the one who would help Naina to stay positive and strong.

Somani's taunts is a teaser for us to expect what is coming next.

And seriously Sameer did call them immediately. How would they have come so soon? In those days cities were not so well connected with airplanes in India. How many flights would have been there between Delhi and Ahmedabad. Somani does not even need a reason to insult Sameer, that is for sure.

Also I felt Somani's concern looked fake. Did anyone else feel that?

But I liked that Vishaka just hugged him and not say any word. She understood that Sameer is totally broken.

I don't know if Sameer did not go into the ICU as Somani went in or was he too scared to see his Nanu like this.

Precap: I still am confused how they could wrap up everything in less than days and go to Delhi if Nanu does die tomorrow.

And we 'feel' today. Loved your analysis Nivi.👏👏

Someone give some award to the guy who played Ramdhari, the servant. His that one line--''Wo akele hein''..Oh god I felt so emotional than Visakha scenes even.

Loved Somani for a flick of second. He recognised Sameer's voice 😃 Wohi kaafi hai mere liye.

Loved to see how the truly dearest people to Nanu suffered so much.Visakha rushed to him as his doting daughter,Naina felt uncomfortable,Munna and Pandit shocked, even Ramdhari was in tears and Sameer-the worst hit.

It was Somani who was pretending tensed.

And I wanted to hit Rakesh today.Nazar laga diya bache ko..''Nanaji ka nawasa'' bol bol ke..😭😭 See how he was sporting that colgate wala smile 🥱 Baalon ka dukaan chala jaayega..Milon dur.Ab rehna khush 🤢

Preeti and Naina's scenes are so relatable.Do behen ek ho jaaye to sirf jeejaji ki baatein..I am waiting to see how Preeti reacts learning about Sam's condition.

A powerpacked epi with equal balance of comedy and tragedy.

So true Minu.

Jayaprakashji is such a kind and noble person. Anyone who has interacted with him will look upto to him with great respect.

Which makes me think, would Varun and his family come to see him at the hospital or if Nanu dies, would they pay their last respects?

Kavi the episode was so good today that I chose to ignore the logic. Back in 90, not many domestic flights existed compared to today. Don't know how they reached so fast.

Also I felt Somani's concern looked fake. Did anyone else feel that?

I have no idea Rose
Maybe the writers want to show that he going to Delhi would build a bond between Sameer and his mother and step siblings

the whole episode was an emotional ride... i think the village track now makes a bit of sense so that things cud b ease out in between... if everyone was in a'bad it wud be difficult to show emotional things through out the hospital...
the best thing for me was the VO for Sameer... i just cudnt think of anything else other than that...

Randeep acting stole the heart.. at the same time made me cry..

About somani, he is such a evil who is not even seeing what kind of incident has happened with nanu & still taunting sameer... atleast be sensible to 17 year old kid in this kind of situation where he was completely alone ..

Also, till now we wanted paper truth for arjun.. but together.. somani was the one who called to principle even though he heard sameer's talk & he knew he was innocent.. but he heard he had keys in pocket.. he purposely called so that sameer gets blame for paper stealing... how anyone will know about this???

I just wish they don't know sameer becoming stone heart/ loosing all his emotions after going to Delhi... and again naina has to work hard to get his emotions back... I just wish he does not loose his innocence, smile & love...

Thanks , Nivi ! Yes, this year has been pretty rough. Schools have been closed for so many days this winter wonder how much will they extend in summer.

You know , I got a vibe from naina's Behavior that she was more like consoling herself with an excuse because somewhere in her heart she knows that sameer has always been there ahead of time and would never miss meeting her especially after that poetry of judaai. How lovely was that poetry btw!
