Last Part I.
Flashback:
After Nanaji's death, Sameer being in Delhi, Naina after her boards took up Arts and decided to apply to Delhi colleges. Being ranker, she was selected and thus shifted to Delhi for further studies. With Sameer's father reference Munna and Pandit got opportunity to join the same college. Munna, Pandit and Sameer chose commerce.
Thus once again started Sameer and Naina's love-story. Sameer had made decision to return to Ahmedabad and handle Nanu's business.
In their graduation year, Sameer decided to tell his mother his future plans and Vishakha who had already known the fact welcomed this decision of him marrying Naina and settling down in Ahmedabad. She also promised him that she will personally go to Naina's house and ask her hand in marriage as papa would have done the same.
Naina being originally a topper and scholar wanted to pursue PhD in English after graduation. Sameer knew and wanted her to take time for deciding but she knew where her way was. Soon after graduation, Mr and Mrs. Somani visited Agarwals for Naina and Sameer's marriage. Chachaji knew as Naina had already told him and welcomed their proposal. Taiji just couldn't take in that a boy like Sameer wanted to marry Naina. She kept making nuisances. But everyone else was so much happy for Naina. Being a girl with good academics and aesthetics Naina had grown to be a good human being and a beautiful one too. Chacha and Chachji did every ritual of their wedding except "kanyadan. Chachaji insisted Rakesh bhaisahab to do it as it is considered the highest level of "punya which a father receives. Rakesh Agarwal cried like a child that day 1st time after his wives demise. Naina had truly made him proud.
The first place visited by Maheshwari couple was Mt. Abu. Everyone in their close net knew what Mt. Abu meant to them. Then they visited Dwarka which was Sameer's decision as they had laid Nanu's ashes there. He considered going there for getting Ashirwad from Nanu for their future.
After coming back, they got news of Munna being offered a job in Mumbai and celebrated it. Sameer made arrangements for him to stay in Mumbai through his sources. Munna knew he needed to prove himself to ask Swati's hand in marriage.
Pandit's father had his business of sweets and farsan across Gujarat. Now being old, he wanted Pandit to take over the business and spread it more. Pandit too being a foodie decided to accept father's advice and joined family business. Nobody knew that time that Pandit's "halwai " business would grow leaps and bounds in upcoming years. Pandit still was a bachelor and didn't want to rush into relationships.
Present Day
Munna recollected the past and decided to make this PVKM celebration double for Baba and Naina. But this time he had many things on his mind. He decided to talk to Bhabi about Swati and him. He knew Swati liked him but never was sure that she would be ready for marrying him.
'Munna Kya hua? Nashta kab se thanda ho raha hai?
" Naina, sunno na. Iss baar mein Swati se rishte ke baare mein puchne wala hun. Puchu na? He asked tentatively. He had immense faith in Naina.
" Munna, ye baat to maine aur Sameer ne tumse last trip mein bhi kahi thi. Ab aur late mat karo. Uske ghar mein ladke dekhna chalu hai. Waise tumhe kis baat ki tension hai?
" Dekh Naina, tujhe to pata hai mere bapu kaise hain. Mera aur unka 36 ka aakda hai. Main 1 bolto hun to wo 3 bolte hain. Agar mein koi decision leke gaya aur unhone bavaal kar diya toh bichari Swati fass jayegi bichme. Aur mein aisa kabhi hone nahi dena chahta
" Par Munna, aunty to ready hain na. Tu tension mat le, hum chalenge tere saath Swati k ghar par. Phir dekh koi tension nahi hogi. Naina assured him.
Munna felt revealed. He knew his friends would be always there for him.
Suddenly, he was grabbed from behind. Pandit who had come back, saw Munna and happily hopped on his back like a monkey.
"Chenu, sale kab aaya? Mujhe bataya bhi nahi aanewala hai. Kal hi to baat hui thi tujhse."Pandit said.
Today's Pandit was handsome young man who had outgrown his business and now he catered destination weddings and big parties but still had kept his father's 1st shop running in purani galli of Ahmedabad. He considered it his father's blessing. Pandit had lost his father after taking over the family business in next year itself. Maheshwari's and Preeti Agarwal had helped him and Pandit family immensely during that time. Thus Pandit had developed a soft corner for Preeti again. They sometimes met for coffee or to grab a quick lunch these days. As Pandit was in Delhi attending a client's wedding this time, they had not met over a month and Pandit missed her. Thus he had gone out to grab a coffee with Preeti. Little did they both knew, that this time Sameer had seen them together.
