Not really a gesture I would say...but that was the subtle hint that Sameer was looking for...he knew then she was okay with it then..
She would have been angry or purposefully tried to move herself n her hands away...but she didn't...she just slid it then n there n Sameer knew what was in her heart...it was the same as what was going on inside him

I feel the same way. Didn't notice any subtle hints but I could be wrong.

Well. generally after washing hands, what does one do.. wipe hands clean..Naina could have walked away with her usual blushing smile.. but she kept her hand back on the ledge.. and think that was gesture enough for S..both of them have become expert mind readers..
