Somewhere I feel the reason behind every ''disgust'' feeling is ignorance. I sometimes wonder whats the harm in knowing things? Why certain things are labelled forbidden? And the teenage is such a phase where curiousity is the biggest devil. The urge is there to know everything..literally everything under universe.
And this curiousity coupled with ignorance sometimes do not gel well.Sexual abuses and juvenile rapes growing in India is due to this.Parents should make aware their children about the growing up thing. Its no harm to know theoretically before hand.Just that practical demos can be reserved for later legal limits.Like others I just wish she asks him atlest the question. He would not be able to answer but the convo should be there. They have grown big enough to atlest know about physicality.Sometimes treating Naina as a toddler with ignorance can go overboard. This is Strictly my POV.

Oh you did get aware of things in 11th. One of my friends till 25 years of age thought kissing leads to pregnancy😆 One of our common friends had kissed a boy and she was so worried for her that she searched on net to find ways to terminate a pregnancy🤣
Even the bio lessons did not focus the actual procedure...
All that you knew was the anatomy of both the sexes...And that yes girls had periods😆I don't think anything more than that was ever taught...I still rem trying to figure out in class 11 how exactly the sperm met the ova🤣There were definitely talks among frends... But since my frends were of my age...I conveniently thought they are imagining things coz we all are in the same class...And knowledge level is the same. ..The only thing I knew abt shadi ke baad...Was that u share ur bed with ur hubby...And sleep in the same blanket ..And yes kiss...(all thanks to the movies)Now I realise..That the info given by few friends was the knowledge they gained from the bfs they had😆
As i said in my post too...i literally mugged up biology without understanding those technical terms...sameway i gather Naina n her frends dont get the heaviness n practicalities of these words...Unless n until u dnt xperience the practical knowledge of it...all wat u studied remains bookish😆...its true till my 10th i had tis misconception kissing leads to pregnancy...11 n 12 saw me getting aware of certain things but how n wat leads to wat ...wat r the detailings n wat goes more was always a suspense n the intriguing factor...!!
So for Naina..i think her defination of intimacy is kissing...that mayb on different parts of body😆...tats wat i also knew so far in my knowledge till my schooling...So tis gal isnt aware what xcitemnt n exercises cme ahead😆
Jys wrote in my post...My son asked me last yr abt sexual n asexual reprod in plants as tat lesson didnt get in his head...He is the one who cnt mug up but need proper reasoning...the terms ovaries, sperm, fusedegg ..pistils...all these were eating his head...😆.So i didnt kno how to xplain him ..tat i ended screwing up with to mug up...!😆

Forget about Sex education, we were not even given enough knowledge about our own body and menstrual cycles...
I learnt about my cycles through a medical book which my mom gave it to me..not every parent would do that. And the other things we learned through friends's gossip, bollywood films, magazines..etc.. most of my knowledge was from romance books!!!!! ha ha..😆But I can imagine Sameer's reaction if and when she asks what happens after marriage...😆😆😉He already way into her physically, now he will have toush time not giving her practical demonstration...Here our leads have not yet touched, but our minds have conjured up wild imaginations for sure...😃LoveKshithi
I learnt my lessons as a teenager ..The number of queries I had...And with nobody to answer...I was determined to be "gyaan ka bhandar" to my daughter...😆I think we should be frank with our children...Its better they learn abt things from us...Rather than half baked internet gained knowledge ... I rem telling my daughter that no matter what her queries were...She is free to come and ask me anything without any hesitation...Meher(I hope I can call u that)...Its actually impossible to explain these things in plant reproduction...Coz it's physically not possible to differentiate...But I'm sure when it comes to human anatomy...It will be easier for u 😳
