Separation has not always been the end of love. Sometimes it creates love, and some times when love is already created, separation intensifies its depth, expands its wings and buttresses its strength beautifully.
Their love is not mere attraction. I agree though love at first sight for Naina, but Sameer... It took him a good time to look past her behenji wali image to see her inner beauty, and finally understand the depth of her love, and that the girl is a blessing in disguise. Naina in Sameer's life is like a soothing early Sunray, like a bundle of happiness, hopes, joy all clustered together bestowed by destiny that he'll cherish for lifetime. He can never forget her, never stop loving her, he is not in charge of his feelings anymore. Dono pagal hai pyaar mei, come what may there's no chance this love will ever diminish or come to a halt or even pause.
May be Sameer intentionally distances himself from Naina concerning his fear of losing people he loves. First his father, then Nanu 😕 and now he wouldn't want to lose Naina. But I'm sure the more he'll try to forget her, the more he'll love her. She is in his heart, she is in his blood that runs through his veins, and now he'll never be the old Sameer.
