Well... at some stage the story would progress to a level where the families will come to know becos it is not practical for the show to be able to show romance at this age beyond these levels for a show of the 90s irrespective of whether the romance was like that or not...a show format has its challenges and one has to put oneself in those shoes to realise it...

I will give a small instance.. the insistence on the ILU... they could not stretch beyond a point becos it would have got repetitive... imaginatively they created the Friday scene but now after Naina says u say it and I will say after u... how can they stretch except show interruptions for a few times else it will get boring. The ILU will be memorable... it's angling towards that, be rest assured.

As for leap... it will happen simply becos this is not real life... u can't sustain interest beyond a point if the relationship does not progress to the next level. Real life teenage sweethearts will tell us that the mundane life is as much a part of a couple's life 😆
