What if Sameer was not Sameer Maheshwari...he was just like some other student of the school...not related to the school's trustee.? Would still Rakesh Sir would have had the same hatred against him in that case?
I mean we all know his greedy nature and inferiority complex in front of people who are rich and successful...so if Sameer wasn't related to a rich family, probably i feel this wouldn't have been the same then.
Its just that he is targetting him to such an extent in order to satisfy his sense of importance in his eyes and he wants to calm down his frustration of not being able to do anything in life while both his brothers are quite successful😊

Rakesh's hatred is mainly because of sam's richness only... He's clearly jealous of the boy... When he stood against arjun for the headboy competition, Rakesh felt threatened... He pushed arjun more n more... When he caught naina teaching sam, he again blamed sam... He didn't doubt naina at all... He's always judgemental when it comes to sam... He wanted to get sam out of school at every possible occasion...he doesn't hate mundit as much as he hates sam... He has a problem with them only because they're sam's friends... Calling him ameerzade n all are because of this jealousy only.

He doesn't hate any other student of the school... maybe its his rich background that makes him react so violently everytime... he is jsut looking for chances to insult his Nanaji...thats all😡

I agree. In fact I had shared my views on these lines long back.. I strongly believe that Rakesh has targeted Sameer more as a representative of the rich and successful class of people with respect to whom he has a very strong inferiority complex. Not that Rakesh has a amicable relationship with anyone else. He treats all other students, teachers, family members in a the similar off handed rude manner. But with Sameer it's more as Trustee ka Naati.

He is a proper bully with mental issues. And without realising it Rakesh has found a victim in Sameer who has a weakness in the form of Naina. Since Sameer has started developing feelings for Naina his tolerance towards Rakesh's abuse has increased, allowing Rakesh the upper hand in their equation.

Yeah...Naina is his weakness now...and thats why Rakesh and Arjun have an upper hand in front of him...otherwise he would have shown their place really well😛

But does this not help him indirectly... i mean Naina would see them being unreasonable with him and slowly go more and more away from them😛
She would get to know their true colours so easily😛😃

Rakesh is too judgmental and refuse to believe that he can be wrong. It is impossible to have relationship with such people.he also fails to learn. And yes hhe is jealous of sameer his wealth and overall nanu too.the way he disrespected nanu too earlier.

I'm still not sure what problem Rakesh has with Sameer!! Just bcoz Sameer doesn't say anything, he keeps ordering him and showing his hatred and attitude!! By such behavior, he just wants to show his family that he can rule rich people like Sameer!! Such a cheap mentality!!

I agree Manisha.

Rakesh's jealousy and anger is more towards Sameer as he is Maheshwariji's grandson.

But then Rakesh has always been this bitter and evil.
He looks down upon people below himself in stature, as unwanted insects, and he is extremely jealous of people who are more successful than him.

Basically he hates every person on this planet except his son.
Even his own daughter hardly has any importance in his life.

Sameer's father, Rakesh has an inferiority complex. It doesn't help that both his siblings are successful in life and respected too. One is a reputed criminal lawyer and the other is a CA, while he is only a librarian with a meagre income. He is not inspired by their success but constantly curses his destiny! Low self esteem and no pride has also ensured that he is always looking towards his brothers to look after his kids needs. Low salary is only an excuse. So, to cover his flaws, he uses his temper and rudeness. He is sure that his son can help him become famous and pressurises him to succeed. Little does he realise that his daughter, Naina, is a better person with a very good intellect. He belongs to the breed of men who believe that women should manage the home only, as they are unable to handle anything else!

Rakesh knows that he can't compete with Nanaji. So the ire is turned on his grandson, Sameer. He has been insulted and remains frustrated due to Sameer's antics. But he has been unable to do anything! His behaviour towards Sameer backfired during the wedding function, as apologising to a teenager who he dislikes immensely, is very insulting! He would never be able to forget this insult, though it was entirely Rakesh's fault. His false ego would be tremendously hurt when Arjun and Naina stand upto him and decide to lead their own lives.

As a father, he wants Arjun to succeed, only because he considers Arjun to be the answers to all his problems. He wants to be rich and famous so everyone in the family respect him! But can respect be bought? It has to be earned, isn't it?
