I think that they need a young gen villian too and Arjun fills the spot. If they make Arjun in Team Sam, his role will not have impact.

Rakesh and Arjun will be villian till end. Shefali may help him stand up against his dad, but she won't be able to make him pro-Sam.

Sameer has defeated Arjun in lot of moral wars.

@angelic - The show is becoming popular and it is inspired by many 90s movies. They might bring Pyaar Kia toh Darna Kya ( its old Salman-Arbaz-Kajol movie) track in future.

My guess is that Arjun will be arrogant self for some more time. Shefali may help Sameer-Naina secretly.

This is not good for Samaina. You can bash me if you want. But based on what they are showing...this can result in

1. Arjun feels guilty about stealing papers and literally taking away the right from Sameer. It could have been Sameer getting selected had Arjun not stolen. So he may blurt it out and Sameer will hear it...and Sam will be devastated...

2. Arjun may still ty to prevent Naina from dating Sameer. This might finally make Naina speak up against Arjun. She may blurt out that Sam has done so much for them and all you did was blame was steal the papers and put blame on him. It was your fault that Sam had the bet , etc..etc...Sameer will hear it...and will be devastated...

What comes next I will leave it to everybody's imagination...but the girl's brother being villain was common in the 80s and 90s films.

Naina will end up disliking her dad and Arjun. May be that is her ticket to maturity...and finally standing up for Sameer ...in distant future...

It was common to have heroine's brother in the grey zone in 80s and 90s films. The brother might think he is being protective when all he is doing is hurting his own sister.
