That's what I like about Naina. She is not perfect. She is little grey and selfish. I could relate to her. Many of us have flaws. About shouting at sister, even I do that. When I am angry with any of the college issues and I don't share with my sister she troubles with her issues I shout at her horribly to feel sorry after wards. Naina's yesterday scene remainded of me but only thing is that Naina was heartbroken and I never faced that situation. It's good every character has a flaws in the show that's what makes the show relatable.

in that if we compare sameer he has his own flaws but he is never selfish ,he thinks about the people arround him, for instance like yesterday when he spoke rudely with munna and pandit but the next moment he felt sorry for them and asked if they need food, where as naina didn't even bother to say sorry or speak politely to preethi after shouting at her. ( can understand its her state of mind in such time we do get irritated and angry at any small reason but we can apologize too ) about preeti not going to mount abu naina did not try to pacify the family might be ohs she thought if preethi was there then she will not be able to spend time with sameer.

One more point that I missed. Naina's VO in one of the episodes says that in that year she got to learn many new things and the credit goes to Sameer. As we already know Sameer's selflessness when it comes to friends, who knows maybe this is one of the things Naina gets to learn from him. Basically they both have flaws that the other does not. Hence they are the perfect puzzle pieces that fit each other. If Sameer is a question then Naina is the answer and vice versa.

It was the first time Naina felt something like this for a guy when she met Sameer...if you remember she was dazed for a while...she just wanted excuses to be near him...that's why she started teaching him. But then seeing the pressure her dad was putting on Arjun, she asked chachaji a way out of the dharam sankat...she sed if she continues to teach Sameer, she'll be doing injustic to her family, n if she doesn't she'll break her promise...n also she knew it was very imp for Sameer to win...but then she didn't take sides, she prayed to God to allow both Sameer n Arjun to perform their best, made cards for both of them...that was very nice of her I felt...(been watching all episoded again frok scratchm..that's why :P)

You are right about her dharamsankat...but just wanted to ask you... once we promise something...we know what can be the repercussions ...right... she very well knew he is against her own brother... how could she promise to teach him knowing this... that means at that time her crush... just her crush...that was much more important to her than her own brother who loves her deeply... i don't agree to this... im so sorry to disagree dear😳

Coming to Preeti...I could not feel worse for her...poort thing has been trying to cheer Naina up since she was back...but what Naina does is snarl at everyone...but Naina is not in her senses here...she hasn't even cried...imagine how an innocent girl would feel being betrayed...she is yet to absorb the reality...all Preeti does reminds her of Sameer...she is not telling her off with that feki huyi sorry...she is scolding Sameer...seeing she never got a chance to tell him off...she is venting out her anger on Sameer on Preeti...but I think this will serve an imp role...Preeti would figure out soon something really wrong has happened to her sister...n then maybe she finds out about her n Sameer...she's gonna be her pillar of strength I feel...

I'm sure she will be her strength once she comes to know... I felt bad that she was rude to her... but I can accept this considering her state of mind... but after she left... she was shown to be repenting... later she didn't even think of going and patching up with her... we all take out our anger on our close ones but after that we need to make them realise that we are sorry... she never gave her that importance to apologise... preeti was so sad and confused to see this...

Ek to use trip per jaane ko nahi mila and aane ke baad use sirf uska gussa mil raha hai...poor girl

And about not telling Preeti n Swati about her relationship with Sameer...that's pretty normal dear, esp for a girl like Naina in those times...I can totally relate to it...some things are so close to your heart that you wouldn't want to reveal them to anyone, not even the closest of buddies or your siblings...no one can imagine Naina being in love..n then seeing her family environment, I think it's better to keep it to herself...she didn't even tell shefali directly...but she guessed it...

Think of that, Sameer is feigning love for a bet right... Still he too doesn't share their intimate details with even munna n pandit...they don't know about their 2 ring code, phone convos, their mandir dates later on...even when they ask Sameer about it, he doesn't reveal...I for one, think it's better to keep ur secrets secret...if one person knows, many other will know n eventually someone undesirable may get to know too...

I agree that we keep many things to us... but she very well knew that Swati liked Sameer... still she didn't tell her about their friendship... even after Swati was crying when she overheard his convo with Kamya...then also she didn't tell her...i guess she was waiting for her to go much ahead in her wrong beliefs that Sameer likes her and when she comes to know the truth... she can be heartbroken... a true friend should try and save a friend from such a terrible situation na... which Swati is doing... she has been repeatedly trying to warn Naina and trying to convince her to be sure before falling so deeply in love with him👏

About not going to the trip without Swati, that showed Naina cared for her...she longed to spend time with Sameer, but she told him she cannot go n enjoy when her best friend is upset at her...she would not leave him alone...that is when Sameer gets impressed with how she values dosti...

Here she didn't do the same for Preeti...read my post ...i mentioned that Preeti has been with her much before Swati...but she didn't care for her at all...she just cared for Swati bcoz she was angry with her...but Preeti was so upset when Naina was leaving...uske baare mein to usne kabhi nahi socha tha...

Yep...about Arjun bhaiya stealing papers, Arjun had pleaded with her not to tell dad or anyone...as it is dad is considered a failure by everyone, he'll breakdown at this...that's why Naina is mum...but I totally agree that Sameer needs to know the truth n be absolved of it asap...

N about the key incident...I saw that episode yesterday only...at first Naina thinks she will ask Sameer about the key later on when they are alone n will scold him...but when her father gets suspended for no fault of his...she abides by her duty n tells what she saw...agreed wo aadha sach tha...

Here she placed her father's reputation above Sameer...but when it was the scooter incident...she happily helped them against her father...She keeps changing her priorities according to her needs... justto make sure he goes to Mt Abu...she made him face huniliation for forgetting things... i dont agree to this dear...sorry once again😳

but see the positive side of it...agar aisa na hota to Sam bet na lagata...aur fir Naina ko closely jaan nahi paata n usse pyaar karne lagta...so everything happens for a reason...infact main to Sam ke parampujya sautele pitaji ko dhanywaad karti hu...na wo phone karke cheating ka batata...na sam naina ki dosti hoti...lolz...

Ya wo Juliet wala...yeah Naina was hands down selfish there...but ye kambakht ishq...if u see she backing out of playing Juliet...but she becomes desperate when they get to know about the kiss...

But yeah all said n done, I know Naina has many flaws...she actually too innocent, living in an ideal world...she is yet to know about the realities of life...this was the first time she fell so deeply in love with someone n did things which she would never have done for anyone else...she lied for Sameer! I've always felt Sameer is much more mature n sensible between the two...he's faced the real world...so he probably knows that life is not a bed of roses...

All said n done...both have their own shortcomings n positives...n somehow being together, they'll complement each other...just a different take on things dear...I hope I didn't hurt anyone...

Yes she is a human being and thus can have flaws too as the rest

but the problem internally she has this i am a topper attitude which is just mentioned all the time in beginning and in those days really there was no sense of individuality and even if someone thought to explore it and say no one bothered to listen

the atmosphere at home where she is living right now considers black and white

white-one who is good in studies,one who doesn't talk to boys,who is good for representing the family but at the same time suppressed in front of them boosts such kind of family's ego and naina out of innocence did the same.

and black- the one who is not good in studies,the one who is bindass,a person who is not suppressed and prefers to explain oneself if accussed of being wrong were considered as acchi ladki nahi hai ya accha ladka nahi hai isse dur raho because of reputation.

Somewhere not to stay away from her but preeti fits in the black category of not being good at studies, and sometimes she easily answers back taiji(its normal thing and not rude way but that time's elders ego used to get bruised at such small events unneccesarily😆)

and Naina ok she is originally good but did she never even think of those elders sometimes just stop being so annoying

but she is not having a position in that house because of her father's financial situation so she ignores andkeeps mum unlike preeti

thats why naina and arjun both are very shy and suppressed types

Now enters Sameer

A rich,handsome,rebellious guy who forms his own rules even if it costs a relationship,stubborn in a way thats why he can be a dream of many girls and a girl like naina who wants to be free from nonsense going around (though her family loves her still)

and then such love doesn't let you act in some ways

love is the most natural feeling in the world no matter what and how its considered today

you become natural in it

you take risks

a logic which you used to keep in mind before having mood swings and fight is challenged

you have a person with who you can become natural,explore love feelings,fantasies,whatever is shown in movies at least those feelings

and thus it brings out your real nature

Naina's real nature is basically that she knows she is a topper thats why she was allowed for trip to enhance her skills like shanti teacher said and because Preeti is not good at studies she was not sent,she wants to flaunt it but can't because of her father's financial condition at home so she knows that her inspite of her achievements she won't be proved the best.Remember the time she told kamya out of jealousy ki aaj pata chala tu english mei fail kyu hoti hai ye s nahi m hai

In terms of Swati i think though she keeps real emotions for her but she is competitive with her where poor swati was continuously blabbering how she likes sameer and her she enjoys it that

'ok you keep thinking that' but he likes me ,she didn't even try to put sense to her head that he likes her and they had moments

she wants best of all worlds at the same time wants to maintain that good girl image in front of people

technically its not wrong who doesn't want it?

but I feel she has a lot of attitude which she can't exhibit and waiting for it

sameer along with love also increased her prestige point that the hottie of college is dating her

and everything her ego,attitude of being good at studies and off course emotions all were hurt at the same time

the topper of college was made fool -she was made fool

at that time fool means oppposite of smart,there was no such thing as emotionally betrayed and all

her values,intelligence,love everything was questioned on which she had a pride once.

She only once told sameer that he didn't have sanskaar because of that kiss thing

and not she made an intiative to back hug him and then got fooled

so she is just taking out her frustration on preeti who had no fault but just getting irritated that how preeti's all cute gestures are getting connected with sameer which she used to entertain and got fooled

This is just my opinion I am no one to judge her character but wanted to express my opinion on your post

Love is difficult,layered

brings out your best and worst innate qualities which you also don't know😊
