Is Sameer Even ATTRACTED to Naina in any way? (I am Confused) - Page 2

Of course, he was attracted to her for a long time now!! Even 'hatred' is another form of attraction! He just didn't realize it ! Unless you mean just on physical appearance then he started to see that since his birthday party!

He does love her..many of his gestures during d trip r enough to prove it..it's just he isn't realising it..it'll take time!!

There r adjustments too..d boy who nvr woke up early, not only did so but also went to d temple..only for Naina..there r many other things too.. even though all that came under d cover of d bet, just like his love gestures..he does respect her pavitrata principle..

What he lacks is attraction..it hasn't been shown like he's attracted to Naina yet..atleast directly!!

This is Naina's journey and discovery of love, Not Sameer's . They have never shown Sameer ever being romantically inclined towards her except for the times he wanted to win the bet. He has only appreciated her for being nice . I hope they don't show him falling in love with her suddenly out of nowhere. That would be a big disappointment and going the Ekta kapoor way. Let his feelings be restricted to massive amounts of guilt for now. Maybe the story will evolve in the future where he might be attracted to her

Sameer walking away was unexpected but he is not a guy in love that will hang around to clarify things with his GF. It was guilt that made him walk away. Let his love for her be a slow process

Naina has experienced her first love, let her experience her first heartbreak. The story is really progressing well and I hope they don't mess it up. It will be interesting to see Naina handling her heartbreak secretly amongst the agarwal loonies , just like she was able to have a full fledged secret love affair !

Well! to me.. " Mujhe padi hai.. kyunki usko meri padi hai" sums Sameer's feelings towards Naina in one line.

Hey Dr D :) ,Nice topic .I completely agree with you.In my opinion, Sameer is not yet attracted to her and therefore does not love her in the true sense of the word, at least not the way we are looking for.

You had cited three points here, out of which Sameer partially fulfills adjustments. He has made some minor adjustments for Naina. ( temple early mornings, bike repair etc). One can argue that this was done solely for the bet, but I think there were times he went a wee bit further than needed, albeit unknowingly and unintentionally.So he sort of half checks the adjustment box, but has a looong way to go. He is nowhere close to what Naina has done for him.

Love??? I think he likes and cares for Naina like a true friend. He is very fond of her and even protective towards her, but love is yet to blossom.He loves many many things about her, especially her pure heart and giving nature but he is not " in love with her as yet. But it normally doesn't take much time for these feelings of care and concern to get converted to love... provided there is attraction.

Ah!Attraction, the all important component.Sameer is definitely not physically attracted to Naina or taken in by her. Sometimes attraction need not be based on appearance, it could be based on the confidence, personality and behaviour of the person, which creates a feeling of awe and admiration in the other which then translates into attraction.But this is not there either.

I think there is zero attraction from Sameer to Naina. He cares for her due to her nature, but is not attracted to her( the two are different things).He likes her because she loves him so much and makes him feel special. He is also feeling terribly guilty about hurting her.

But does he love her as she is and for what she is?Wil he love her for her strengths and traits ? Will he continue loving her even if she doesnt shower him with attention single mindedly?And most importantly, once she forgives him( which she eventually will, coz she truly loves him), will she continue to occupy the same importance in his life or will she only be given the status of a dear special friend? I believe something more has to happen for Sameer to love her. Else this will be "lovebased on the foundation of guit and remorse. And if that happens, it won't be long before Sameer gets over his guilt and gets attracted to someone else.
