I don't think he is in denial ...his approach to love is different...every one has different approach when it comes to love towards their life partner /wife/spouse/GF...for some love comes thru protecting them...for some love is thru responsibility ...for some love is thru friendship...there are many ways ...each person has a unique approach which stands above the rest of the characteristic of love...this depends on your experience or encounters with affection that you have got from your childhood...For Sameer love is friendship...and he will do anything for a friend who is close to his heart...yesterday we got an insight into Sameers thoughts of affection...he has felt or received affection from his friends more than family...and he feels responsible for those friends security and safety and happiness...Naina has joined that league...but she stands above all the friends he has in his life...Sachi Dosthi...he even doubts ..if he is a good enough friend for Naina...

So how are best friends different from life partners..??You can share , care and show affection to you best friends too...and life partners can be best friends too...but what you cant do with your best friend is make love...physical intimacy...for that the emotional and physical connect is needed which is beyond the responsibility of a best friend...Sameer has never looked at Naina 's physical appearance ...never felt possessive about Naina...in a way BF should feel towards his girl...the day he starts looking at her in a more intimate manner...the concept of three magical words will hit him hard...

Same goes with Naina...she has only seen the physical appearance ...she calls that love ...but the trust and the emotional and physical connect that is required to be a life partner is still missing...She doesn't feel comfortable of him being close to her...she is still guarded ..call it Sanskar or whatever...but when he girl and boy is completely in love and their love has attributes like respect , trust , acceptance , loyalty and friendship attached to it...then slowly they will feel comfortable with each other in everyway...

Now they are on road to win their love...both of them are NOT there yet!!

PS : To be a persons life partner takes a lot of effort... 😊 Just calling it love and doing things for him or her wont do ...it is beyond that ...easy to fall in love...but to stay in love takes a lot of courage and efforts...this journey will teach Naina and Sameer to trust each other and be comfortable with each other emotionally and physically.

Waise dude knows what he means to Naina by now. But it was a treat to watch Sam's soliloquy. Heartbreak all around next week. YUDKBH always had some humor even in the most serious moments even if it is the VO which keeps it relatively light and I hope they continue that. Relying on M, P and Preeti to keep it light😆

When Sameer held Rakesh's hands when he was about to slap Naina, I am guessing it is the first time someone stopped Naina from getting slapped.

Even Arjun has never done it. He has only witnessed the slap and later consoled her.

For Naina, this is the first time someone else has taken the entire blame and even rescued her from physical abuse.

For her this falls under the "Shaadi wala pyaar" category.

But for Sameer this is still going to any length for his close friend.

Though we know that Sameer loves her and he is still in denial. Also there is still a disconnect in the way they both approached the situation. This disconnect has to go for them to realise that this is the path towards true love.

N him stopping her dad from hitting her...hmmm..i was reminded of that beating incident when she tuk for his Nanu...he couldnt tolerate then n stud helpless...this time he jumped in to save her from whom, her very own dad...this signifies...he has taken precedence ...the reins of that very control n priority over all her other relationships which stands secondary to him in line n in position...!!that same right which is exclusively handed by a fathers gal to his son inlaw to protect n take care of his daughter at the time of marraige...The promise!!! ...See how our Sam baba without any acknowledgment is just right there!!!!..

The monologue scene was again very beautiful n one of the highlights ...The guy is pure LOVE ❤️...!n just wishing this difficult phase n ordeal for the lovers end soon ...!n they unite in happiness n an overwhelming tight hug...kab hoga bhai?!
