They should really tone down the thappads. Its not nice to see kids being slapped now and then for stupid reasons.

Honestly, I don't think it was a malicious act or anything...like all of a sudden chachi ji and chacha ji are mean.
The in-laws had a problem with the saree and chachi and all were worried it may cause some sort of problem. Poojas history isn't great with alliances and so they all are extra cautious. I get their concern. What I mean is, I've seen grown ups get worked up over small things like that. My uncle was pissed because my cousin would be a year older to a prospective groom 😆...they really liked the guy and family...we all were amused...like, how is that her fault. Or, on another occasion she didn't wear heels so her height looked too short compared to that of another prospective groom. My uncle went off on a rant...like seriously 😕😆. They are instilled with a certain kind of thinking. In short, they like to please duniya wale.
Anyway, naina was the one who got the saree from shefali and so she was to blame according to them.
But I really want the cv's to tone the slaps down. I always got clouted by my mum but never across the face. It's a bit much.
I find Pooja the culprit in all this but then she seems to be the selfish type, preeti too hinted.
And I still do believe that chachi ji and chacha ji love her and treat her like there own. I hope cv's don't ruin that relationship and make naina all too isolated.
