Like all I like both Naina and Arjun. They are very innocent and nice. But both has same problem- lack of confidence. Most probably they are getting this because of their Papa Rakesh. Rakesh is also not completely a bad guy. He didn't marry after their mother's death. These two kids love their dad very much.
But Rakesh is a kharoos, miser man. Who always ready to blame on other and find flaws in other. When Arjun saw Shefali in her dress he told Naina, "Tell your friend to wear something dhang ki( nice. Thank god he is 90s. If he was a teenager of 2017 Shefali kind of girls would make his life as miserable as possible. I mean what's your problem? It's her body, her style and she will wear whatever she wants. It's none of Arjun's business. She doesn't tell Arjun why he buttons up his shirt upto his neck level? I found it really funny that he keeps staring at her behind his book but in front of all he pretends like it is Shefali who is after him. I think Shefali noticed this too.
Like Arjun Naina has the same habit. She is like a despo for Sameer. The boy is completely idiot in studies. I like Sameer very much and I don't believe that everyone needs to be good in study and study is the only way to success or achieve anything...as there are lots of examples where bad students shine in real life. But Naina is a good student, according to her dear dad Sameer is an idiot who answered 100% but got 50...means he is so idiot that doesn't understand what to write. Why Naina is liking such a boy? She is a nerd and she should like someone like her. She is going against her family, papa just like Arjun is doing. Both are choosing wrong boy/girl Sameer and Shefali.
Uparse both has the tendency to hide. Shefali atleast has interest in Arjun, Sameer doesn't even like Naina. Still they are after them. But the best path they choose is hide this from their friends, family and the world. Because they are afraid of Papa. Because of their this nature both Sameer and Shefali is looking like culprit. And this bettameez Rakesh , who is over proud and confident that his kids are like angels in the earth is insulting kids of other parents. Yes, he didn't start bashing Shefali's mom, but as soon as he will find about Shefali he would turn in to another Tayeejee. Yet both the bro and sis are quiet. No one is after their beauty or brain----they are after other. So admit that in front of khamndi Papa and stop pretending like you are innocent.
Naina's fever is worse than Arjun. She hides truth from her so called best friend. Which is making Swati look like an idiot. When the whole class is after Sameer...tell "I like Sameer too. But nehi. She is like man mein chor or upar shor. Just like her Dad...I will not pay for Naina. Then who will pay for her? Your bro, sis in law? Kyun? Beti aapka, responsibility bhi apka. This guy is actually a comic character who has no self respect. He is ready to beg whenever needed. Tayeejee may be harsh to him...but he deserves everything that lady tells him. Why other will buy school shoe for his daughter? See his this attitude is effecting on Naina's personality too. She didn't confess anything to him, he didn't confess anything to her...but her demand list chaloo ho gaya. She can't accept him as lover/boyfriend not even in front of Shefali but takes his gift easily--------chahein casset or Medicare.Who begs for marriage proposal etc from a person whom she can't decide what to call? But she asked Sameer's help to fix marriage for her cousin. Just like Rakesh do...bhagwan ki naam par kuch de de baba type. If Rakesh was in Sameer's position...what would Rakesh do? He will not be like Nanu. There is a limit how much people can give -----------both Naina and Arjun needs to know that. Take responsibility. Arjun very good boy ready to find flaws in Shefali...should go to his so called Adarsh peeta and tell keya kaand kiya hai, yes the question paper stealing. How can a person walk like this after knowing another innocent boy is getting his portion of punishment.
Rakesh is more like a parasite who is absolutely not ashamed to beg from other whenever needed. And his this kind of shameless attitude is destroying and effecting his two kids. They are not like normal kids. They hide their feelings, they don't feel ashamed to ask help from other, they lie and they pretend, they judge other when they are responsible on the same thing too. Now Rakesh is a clown. Forget about the students, his family, colleagues --------no one respects him. And very soon this will effect on his kids. Shefali's mom is a single parent too...but she takes care of her responsibility. That is why her daughter is everything Naina or Arjun are not. I hope he finds it out. Begging isn't an option.
Naina and Arjun are very sweet . But sometimes parent's attitude destroys personality and reputation of good kids too. So I don't blame these kids. What can kids do under an irresponsible, miser and coward dad who is always ready to beg.
