same doubt ..i highly doubt sameer and naina ll end up together ... naina narrator always used - mujhe laga tha, mere hone wale saas hoge...this type of words.. so indirectly she said-- its incomplete love story... and dunno how much its true recently i read one article about un dino ...its about story, cast, 90s era ,, show freshness and they mention in the end Sameer's parent ll send him in Nanital his boarding schl again.. i hope its not true.😕

Naina was 16 in 1990.That means in 2017 she is 33. She has probably settled down by now. Although, I really hope she ended up with Sameer. The alternative would be very depressing However, maybe the narrator uses words like that to confuse the audience. I really hope that's the case.

If Sameer is sent back to Nanital then that is a likely outcome if the families find out about Naina and Sameer!! Which I think will happen! Since they are not old enough to get married and plus they have to think about their studies the families will separate them!! But it's possible later that they end up at the same college!! And their love story starts again!!

I really hope they do end up together. :(

I think they will end up together bcz the narrator I mean old naina knew every secret about sameer like he stole her shoes 2 times, about his step father, his expectations towards his mother and the way she describes him it's like she know her very closely.
