I'm making this second thread for my first story, DO DIL BANDHE DO DORI SE BANE EK DIL.

It was the day of court hearing. Everyone reached the court and soon the hearing started. Subbu’s lawyer called Subbu to present his views. Subbu came and first he said that he had changed now and is responsible and a good person now. He really wanted to take care of Adi and ruhi (in short, whatever he can say to get custody). Then, he said,

Subbu - Ishita aur Raman ke pas vajah hai Adi aur Ruhi ki custody humein dene ki par hamare pas bhi ek strong reason hai ki hum majboor hai yeh sab karne ke liye. (All were listening carefully) Hum nhi chahte ki hum Ishita aur Raman ko unke bachcho se door kare par hum bhi kya kare….. hum foreign country mein shift huye job ke liye success ke liye, success mili bhi, then we got married when we thought that we are compatible for each other. We were living happily in our life. there was only one lack in our life, hamara bachcha. We were eagerly waiting for our child but Shagun ka miscarriage ho gaya aur humne bachcha kho diya. After that incident, we were in a shock. We tried a lot but due to complications of her first pregnancy and then two miscarriages, her health was deteriorating and she can’t conceive now….. (he became emotional and tears came in his eyes, all were shocked and felt bad. Raman looked at Ishita with shock but was surprised to see Ishita calm. He was confused.) Hum Ishita aur Raman ko unke bachhco se alag nhi karna chahte par hum majboor hai, Ishita aur Raman abhi single parents hai, future mein kabhi bhi agar shadi karte hai to they can become parents again but we can’t. So we want….

He was interrupted by Shagun,

Shagun – Ek minute Subbu. mujhe kuch kehna hai sir..

Judge called her in the witness box.

Shagun – Subbu ne jo kaha vo sab sach hai, main ab kabhi conceive nhi kar sakti aur na hum Raman aur ishita se unke bachche cheenna chahte hai, bas hum chahte hai… sorry.. chahte the ki Ruhi ya Adi mein se at least ek ki custody humhe mil jaaye taki koi humhe bhi ma aur papa kahe, agar vo humhe milte to hum bhi unhe ma baap ka poora pyar dete…..

Subbu (interrupting) – Chahte the ka kya matlab hai Shagun…..

Judge asked him to sit silently and let her speak. Shagun looked at Ishita who was looking at her hopefully and Raman noticed it.

Shagun – Sorry Subbu, I took this important decision without even discussing with you but I had to do it as this will be the best for all of us. Sir, we filed this case but now I want to take it back.

Subbu – Shagun?

Judge again made him sit and warned him.

Shagun – Ha mujhe kisi ki koi custody nhi chahiye. Subbu, humhe custody kisliye chahiye, hamare liye? Par sach kahu to sirf custody milne se hum ma baap nhi ban jaayenge, ha hum unhe ma baap ka sachcha pyar denge par utna nhi de paayenge jitna unhe aaj tak mila hai. Biologically, unke pas ma aur baap mein se ek hai par sach to yeh hai ki unke pas sare rishte hai, Adi ke pas papa na hote huye bhi hai aur Ruhi ke pas ma na hote huye bhi hai, Adi sirf Ishita ka beta ya Ruhi sirf Raman ki beti nhi hai balki vo poore parivar ki jaan hai. zindagi basti hai sabki unme. Custody milne ke bad bhi main unki maa nhi ban sakti aur agar ban sakti hu to main ek aisa bachcha jiske pas ma baap nhi hai, parivar nhi hai uski maa banna chahungi na ki bacho ko unke ma baap se door karke. Hum chahe bachcha adopt kare ya custody le, humhe to unke sath zindagi naye sire se hi shuru karni hogi par bachcho ko kyu suffer karna pade. It’s my final decision. I don’t want this custody anymore. I would like to adopt a child.

She completed and till then, she was in tears. Judge asked her to go and sit. Judge called for a break. As the judge went out, Subbu asked Shagun why she did all this. She was crying when Ishita came to her with teary eyes and put her hand on her shoulder, she looked at Ishita and Ishita hugged her thanking her making everyone confused. Ishita consoled her and thanked her for understanding their situation. Raman asked what she is talking. Ishita told them how she met Shagun in the temple in the morning before the hearing and she heard her praying to matarani and said that she can’t become mother. Ishita confronted her and got to know the whole truth. She was shocked to know about her condition and felt bad for her. She confronted her and told her how it’s affecting their families but she said that she can give Adi’s custody out of humanity. Shagun was shocked and then decided to back out seeing Ishita’s sacrifice, she was already in confusion if they are doing right or wrong. Ishita didn’t inform anyone as she was not sure.

Everyone was happy while Subbu was angry on but she made him understand and he agreed to her to adopt a child instead giving pain to AdIru and their parents whom they had already given a lot of pain in past. Ishra and their families thanked them. Soon the proceedings started and Judge asked Shagun & Subbu for their last decision and they answered the same. At last, Judge declared that custody of Adiru will continue as it was from the beginning relieving all. Hearing ended. Ishra and families again thanked them and wished them good luck for their future while Shagun and subbu apologize for their ill behavior in the past as well as in present. They started a fresh with friendship. All left.

Bhallas and Iyers reached their home. Seniors went to mandir to thank their god/goddess while youngers left to their work, children were already in school. Ishita reached her cabin happily and was about to call Raman when he himself came. Both were so happy and smiled fully seeing each other. Ishita hold his hands and said happily,

I – We won we won….. Finally we won. I’m so happy. Ab Adi aur Ruhi hamare pas hi rahenge.

R – Yes finally, it ended and on a good note.

Both hugged each other. They stayed for some time like this. They heard a knock on the door and realized their position, they felt little awkward and parted. Ishita called the person inside. It was an employee to give a file. After he went.

R – By the way, I’m angry on you.

I – why? What’s my mistake?

R – Don’t you know? You already talked to shagun, you should inform me also na. You know how much I was stressed. You were relaxed but we were so worried. Bta deti to hum bhi relieved hote.

I – Ho gaya aapka? You don’t know I was also worried in fact more than you. Shagun told me that she will made Subbu understand and they will change their decision but how can I believe her. It was not easy to believe her. I…..

R – Don’t give me excuses. It’s ok. Now you don’t consider me as your best friend. No problem, I will manage…..

I – Achaji, band karo apni yeh nautanki. Itna drama karne ki koi jarurat nhi hai. I know you very well.

R – Achaji?

I – Ji.

Both laughed at themselves. They had some conversation then continued their work. That day they went to pick the children from school and spent the rest of the day with them only, playing with them, helping them in doing their homework, feeding them and fed by them also and then slept with them. They felt contented. Next day was Sunday, Shagun and Subbu gave a surprise visit to them. They apologized to all of them, especially Ishra and said that they want to start anew with them. They asked if they could become friends which Ishra agreed with. Ishra introduced them with Adiru who asked about them and Shabbu said that they are their parents’ friends. They informed them that they are going to an orphanage to adopt a child. They asked Ishra to join them as their friends. Ishra agreed and they four went to the orphanage along with Adiru who were very excited to see small babies. Small babies along with some younger kids were also there. Everyone were busy with babies while Ishita wanted to say something but was not saying and Raman noticed her different behavior. He asked if she is happy or what’s going in her mind. She was denying but he asked again,

R - I know you very well. Something is going on in your mind. Tell me what’s the matter?

Shagun also asked her and finally she said,

I - I don’t know what you people will think about it but….

R - Leave it on us. You just tell us.

I - I was just thinking that there are many people who came here to adopt a child. I saw most of them, even we also came to this room, to these little babies but very few went to the younger children and those went, they also came out without taking any child. So….

R - You want to suggest that they can adopt them too…

Shagun and Subbu looked at Ishita for confirmation to which she nodded.

R - See, I told you I know you very well.

Shagun agreed to her and looked at Subbu who also accepted it and decided to adopt a younger kid. Ishita got happy and went to those children along with Adiru followed by Raman. Subbu was also going but stopped seeing Shagun standing smiling thinking something. He asked to her,

Shagun - They know each other so well. Don’t you think they are made for each other?

Subbu - Hamare sochne se kya hoga? They should understand it.

Shagun - Right. I wish they realized it soon and they get together. They look so good together.

They went to Ishra praying for them. It was very difficult for them but at last they selected a kid with Adiru’s choice and started the formalities……

All reached court hearing started Subbu came into witness box and started saying how he and shagun got married and went out of india to get success they got everything but one thing was missing baby after shagun went through miscarriage she was not able to conceive he said he don't want to separate ishra from their kids but they don't have any option all were shocked Raman was worried about custody but ishita was sitting calm shagun said she want to say something she said they wanted to get adi or ruhis custody Subbu said what means wanted shagun said now they don't want she said she can't separate adiru from their parents and family wow shagun is so nice so ishita had confronted shagun she changed her decision shagun made Subbu agree ishra got the Custody of adiru ishra thanks Subbu and shagun they decided to start afresh ishra scene was lovely ishra spent whole day with adiru next day subbu and Shagun came to meet ishra who introduced them to adiru they asked who are subbu and Shagun Subbu and shagun said their parents freind Subbu and shagun told ishra about their kid adopting decision and asked them to join ishra adiru went with them all went towards small kids ishita told them what she was thinking shagun told Subbu how Ishra know each other so well they are made for each other Subbu said they should realize themselve finally Subbu and shagun adopted younger kid
