The cvs kept showing a lot of romance happening in the senior Bhallas n iyers ' lives when ishra were on focus .

Then if the nayi peedhi is on focus then we ought to be having ishra being in a similar situation .

Moreover ,the bhallas were in their 60s n the iyers were following close behind .

If it is only new gen then mrs Iyer better be knocked off .What was the hurry to bring ishra lovelife to a grinding halt ?

Didn't mr Bhalla get cuffs for Mrs Bhalla as Christmas present ?What was their age then ?

The fact is we are being fed with new gen at the expense of putting off ishra alone.

This new gen should feel pretty much ashamed of themselves for ruining a golden opportunity .

If new generation acting is up to mark then the serial would have been highlighted

YHM came into my life when I was at my lowest low and I do attribute its initial 100 or so episodes that helped me get over. Part,y attribute, have learned not to give too much credit to a TV show.

I dropped by the forum after a long time- literally years and reading your writes ups has inspired me to rewatch some tracks. Would love to know which ones you recommend. I have access to Hotstar, so dates or season nos would be great and helpful.

Thanks so much in advance

It's endearing to see your interest in YHM at a time when the forum is almost scattered with the exception of a few old warhorses...

The first 500 -600 episodes barring the surrogacy track of YHM are timeless, especially seasons 4- 11, Mayur Vihar wala YHM would leave you enchanted for a gripping storyline coupled with acting prowess of DivAn..IshRa's nok jhoks, unique display of affection, sirf Ruhi ke liye facade and their blossoming love makes it bingeworthy...It begets love and only love in the hearts of viewers😍

Seasons 20-26 are discombobulating for the digression in story, it starts off with the detested surrogacy track to restore the legacy of a tainted mother Shagun and culminates in the most acerbic separation 😭 but still you get some poignant IshRa scenes in seasons 22 & 23, when Ishita is presumed to be possessed by Shagun's soul and DT churns out a stellar performance ..

Post leap, in seasons 27-31 we witness the reconciliation of IshRa, yet again it starts with ruhi ke liye and this is the phase where new generation of actors are introduced... Personally, I relished these seasons but yes they are diluted slightly...

Seasons 32-34 is all about custody drama and the unquenchable thirst of Shagun as mother and wife 🤪, watchable in bits and pieces..

Season 34 is quite exotic as well for yet another IshRa milan in Australia, after their self imposed exile of 1 year for Pihu ke liye... Season 36 should not be missed for Raman's unparalleled performance as Gulaboo, perhaps I wonder could anyone reprise this act ever on ITV..

You see a dip in seasons 37-40 with story focussing on Adi-Aliya-Roshni and Ruhi's one to many relationships 😬 . Once again IshRa gets separated...

And there comes season 41, the savior for all IshRa fans, the Budapest track..It imbued love into YHM, we witness the tadap of IshRa for each other...It only encompasses a few episodes but leaves behind a horde of indelible IshRa memories ♥️... The best resurrection ever happened to YHM...It continues into 42, at times Raman could come across as unreasonable and unjust but it's all part of Ishita's shrewd ploy to reach her Raavan Kumar..

Season 43 foresees the coming together of IshRa and has some reasonable IshRalicious episodes in the beginning coupled with a delectable London track but things go downhill from May 2018 and the trend continues unfortunately by virtue of some ludicrous writing by CVs in conjunction with business decisions of Star Plus.. The last one year has been extremely exasperating to say the least but the legacy of IshRa still lives on!!!

PS: I am one biased and fanatic YHM and IshRa fan, which you should have known by now 😁 but trust me the first 500 episodes and Budapest track should be overwhelming 🤩...

thank you so much for taking the time and replying. Really appreciate. Will try and look up the tracks fosho, thanks again for the detailed reply. It’s probably one of a kind fan’s response to a show that kind of lost its luster. I have for the past few years stopped watching ITV completely becos I think they cater to a section of society I can no longer relate to, I watch a lot of web series and must admit that I enjoyed watching DT on chicken masala and reminded me of ishra.. and my early days with the show. Tganks again
