Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya's popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein will go off air in June. Yeh Hai Mohabbatein had seen a dip in the TRP ratings recently as a result the makers have decide to pull the plug.
The makers of the show were trying to revive Yeh Hai Mohabbatein by adding major twists and turns but nothing has helped in improving the ratings. The makers of the show roped in new actors and had also introduced new plot.
When TimesofIndia.com contacted Krishna Mukherjee, who plays the role of Alia Bhalla in the show, confirmed the report of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein going off the air in June.
The actress said, "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein is going off air in the month of June."
The actress is disheartened with the news and said, "I don't know why the show is going off the air, as it has good TRP ratings". She further added saying, "It becomes difficult to leave a show and move on as everyone is a family here. Will miss everyone for sure.
There were speculations that the show will go off air in February. But there was no official confirmation regarding the same.
The show aired its first episode on December 3, 2013, and has been going for the past five years. Ishita (Divyanka) and Raman's (Karan) on-screen chemistry has been gaining a massive fan base.
Currently, the storyline of YHM revolves around the Bhallas family. The gangster is creating problems in Alia and Ruhi's life.
Meanwhile, Krishna has signed Naagin 3 and will soon be seen playing the role of Taamsi, who is Hukum and Vishakha's daughter.
