To make new gen work there is lot of things which makers need to do which I don't think they are interested in doing . They are only waiting for YHM shut down . Everybody is waiting for it.

To hand over the reins to next gen, these are the following changes which needs to be done in YHM story :

1) Write proper story ( this is one of the main reason for the show to flop as the writing is not strong.) Even if writing is ok, makers are unable to present it properly due to lack of their interest in distributing their screen space and dialogue to the characters properly. Their writing and dialogues ends down to disjointed characters .

2) Strong actors (the new gen actors are weak. Look at Rohan and Karan , how pathetic they are. Aaliyah and Ruhi are also average, to take a centre stage one needs to emote well specially when you need to take the reins over from lead actors who had been phenomenal).

3) Chemistry between actors (they have been trying to make Roshini as lead and now Aaliyah as lead but then both of them lacked chemistry with their co-actors add to it bad acting and story)

4) To hand over the reins to new gen, makers cannot neglect IshRa. Till the time they are in the show , makers need to give equal importance to both - IshRa and next gen leads.

(Change is done slowly as it's accepted slowly , a sudden change always brings anger and revolt with it and is rejected even in real life.)

5) BD of main leads needs to be stopped . Change will be accepted only when audience is not angry. If they are already angry , then whatever you do , the story will not be accepted and currently audience is pissed of with both the makers and the leads for not giving adequate time to the project.

Viewers should move on from yhm.

Hyped things hardly turn out to be good, history proves it...As for webseries, tons of them come out every month, still don't understand the hype around it...Anyways...Let's leave it at that...As far as YHM is concerned, it did not deserve this treatment, neither from the cast and especially not from the CVs..We should just move on and come back only if there is anything worthwhile seeing again.

Well said ...time to move on for good...

Well I really don't even want to get started on the web show ..it's been talked about for 6 months now ...its not evrb half complete and the hoopla is hilarious...and it's typical too...

As a regular Netflix viewer this show doesn't even look close to exciting to start with ..

I haven't watched alt shows..so won't comment on that ..the only one i was interested was ..test case...that too I didn't watch considering other Netflix/Prime content is far superior...

Another much ado about nothing. It will be sold and sold in every possible media forum...before even the first episode airs...including so called 'reviews'..even though there might be much more stronger content on the web..which does not star the sweethearts of desi tv..

most ppl in the best dramas on the web aren't even known faces ...fact. most other hyped shows with bolly and telly faces are just hype and hardly content...🥱

Also even the best Indian web show in terms of viewership .like a sacred games...isn't a drop in the ocean of web shows that online viewers have access to and watch...

That's the reality ...

Indian web shows need content..not stars ..to be able to compete...

ITV has a huge audience...which Indian web viewership.will take a long time to.match...

Khair..let everyone be happy in their giant bubbles ...May be we should be thankful for the BD saga and the stupid storyline...

We can switch off for good and maybe come back when the shows curtains finally come down...

Webseries is just to make money...in digital context...

Reason tomorrow, TV can be replaced by digital world..we are born in digital world which has taken over everything...from day to day activities...so digital is short, long way to capture those audience who can watch series at there own space...

It is a new game..which has many hidden concern with high and low to reach audience...
