I wonder if the reaction would have had been same had Kp would be the one getting these opportunities instead of Dt 😕

Exactly Zoha...and we are being called pro KP and anti DT for this. Heck that is only happening because KP and Raman have never got the advantages that DT or even Ishita as a character have got. He has always been the one to be blamed for every mess. Personally for me, nothing comes before IshRa, not even Divan...so if anything happens thats jeopardizing our final few days with them, I will be upset even if I will be glad that they are exploring beyond YHM. The show might be dead but some of us are still sticking to us because of DivAn. They have shown ample professionalism in the past years, we are only asking for 50% of the same in the final few days of the show, which we are clearly not getting. KP would have been thrashed left right and centre on social media if he was responsible for this mess. However look at the situation now. None are even a bit concerned about IshRa or YHM ...I don't expect them to be but atleast don't rejoice saying that she is getting relieved from the show , this is and always be the show that have resurrected the careers of DivAn, so it deserves a bit respect from the fans atleast. However none of this is new so no use ranting too I guess.

DT will be ishita for years after YHM ends and even if she becomes a Bollywood superstar YHM is what she will.still be remembered by ...that's the legacy of shows like YHM...and most of the so called fans know that very well too...they just won't ever accept it ...

Right now ..this narrative works for them..so let them also have fun while it lasts..

If it had been KP who had been getting all the opportunities he 'deserved' then the narrative would have been ..unprofessional KP and DT giving 100 percent to her shows and not abandoning them mid way etc 😆..I have seen such stuff even when KP takes vacations😆..

So this tamasha is all that ppl have left to entertain themselves ..let them have it...😆

Also why bother about a useless show and an even more useless forum and a biased thread when there is so much exciting stuff oitside😕😆..

I am not justifying anything as I believe I don't need too...most of us have only pointed out our frustration and dissapointment with the happenings that's it...we have done nothing wrong for being honest with our opinions...and by us I refuse to include the one who is not a fan of YHM but only a DT basher.

Even I have supported DT some time in the past when people were bashing her here on IF unnecessarily and have also been called a DT fan. But now even I couldn't stand but rant about the BD saga. We all are genuinely irked with this BD nonsense. I get that. Some people who are just waiting for the day when YHM would end so that their favs can get the work they deserve' are the ones doing the mud flinging(both sides). All we can do is ignore.

Exactly Pb..KP was bashed even when he went for his wedding and DT was working on a wheelchair, so this is nothing..he might have been unprofessional in the past,but not for YHM. He might not promote it as much as others, but then that's how he is. He gives his best to the show even when the show has not given him his due. Even after so many years, I read through stuff like DT is being tolerant and extremely generous to be working with such a moody and unprofessional actor😕KP has been anything but that with YHM.

Also he has already received some bashing today because there was his bd in the news segment and not him. Height of double standards I must say.

BTW, Yug is a school going kid according to AV's interview. Then he can only be some 17 years old. But Adi was 23-24 years old when he died. So Yug cannot be Shagun's son/Adi's long lost twin. 😃

Well, the reality is that many A grade television actors, who act in web-series or/and host reality shows for years, will die for doing an Ekta Kapoor's big budget daily Soap. In last few years, there are a bunch of actors and actresses who now only host shows or do web-series always mention in their press interviews that they miss it badly. Sadly ( I say 'sadly' because daily soaps lack quality work big time nowadays) the name. fame and money for a tv actor still come from daily soaps and they are aware of it. With or without connections, the competition is fierce and the chances are very limited. So, better value the "real thing", not the auxiliary ones like hosting or doing web series which come as perks of doing the "real thing".

Anyway, I have watched few episodes of YHM after a long time. Maybe new year effect, maybe I didn't expect YHM to last this long. The story is pathetic. It is poorly dramatized than before. Acting-wise it is still ok, maybe except the new actors. What caught my eyes was the incoherence. Actors are poorly placed, rampant use of body doubles, actors doing separate scenes and then badly edited disjointed scenes...horrible. Body doubles, dupes, disjointed scenes etc are short term instrument to deal an emergency situation in daily soaps as it is not possible to have cast and crew on the set every 365 day a year. They need break, they need to do other activities too bcuz they are humans too. But here in current YHM, these short term instruments are being abused constantly to dupe viewers. I am afraid this is borderline cheating and no one really cares.
