Let's analyze what exactly has gone wrong with YHM and why is it unable to gain TRP's in the recent months. Below are a few points which according to me has resulted in the shows decreasing TRP. You can mention yours. Leta help the CV's.
1) Time Slot - This has been the biggest dent for TRP's to plummet as many people although fans of YHM goes off to sleep by then. Hard core fans like me catch the episodes in social media whereas older generation who are hard core fans but not equipped with digital media, give the show a miss.
2) Roshini Plot - This was another plot which created a big dent in the TRP. I don't know the reason why CV's kept pushing this plot in the audience throats when they could very well see how badly the audience had opposed it . The only reason I feel seeing Roshini being nominated as Best Female Debut in a Lead Role in Gold Awards is - CV's wanted the younger generation to take over. But it backfired very badly. They chose the wrong plot, wrong actor and most importantly kept going ahead with their regressive track even though audience denied watching it, hence lost audience interest and trust .
3) No Proper Closure - From the Budapest track none of the tracks has been given a proper closure.
Example :
I) Simmi-Param . Simmi is forgiven just like that and for Param also, Simmi was shown going to court just once but what has he been sentenced with , no one knows nor does anyone knows what all has the duo done except for Ishita.
II) Same is the case with Nikhil as no one knows what exactly he was pronounced and how much did he open up about the duo.
III) Although the fraud company got shut with Adi's death but what did IshRa do in order to get Sooraj punished for playing with innocent peoples lives and misleading Adi.
Instead of the useless and mocking court case for unborn baby they should have shown these type of court cases which would have looked meaningful.
4) Actors not being utilized : Although YHM has many good actors but they are not being utilized. Dialogues are being given to actors which audience hates like the new Toshi ji but Mr.Bhalla, Bala, Mr. Iyer, Romi etc are not being utilized. The side actors are just being thrown randomly here and there with un meaningful scenes and bad dialogues making them look pathetic and useless unlike in the 1st year of YHM where every actor was utilized properly.
5) Too many crime plots : Although I know that for the story to move on , CV's need to get in plots but crime plots one after the other with the writing done loosely is not helping. They need to give some light hearted episodes also in between.
6) IshRa : CV's have improved here from the London track where IshRa are working as a team but still The show has to be more about IshRa. Their every emotion should be shown in detail along with the families otherwise we as a viewer loses the connect with the character.
7) Leaps : Too many leaps taken in short span resulting IshRa to reach the grandparent stage when they haven't been explored properly as a couple also and so now when they take stupid steps such as separation it looks more like mockery as their age is not such to take such steps.
8) Misleading Promos : The promos which are being aired are misleading like the baby promo where according to the promo this baby would get changes in IshRa'a life and they will take care of it but in reality the baby wasn't shown with IshRa even once after the baby was born making the promo a mockery and playing with audience trust and time.
