I agree with you and SONAL30... had enough of society holding the third wheel woman responsible for a man cheating on his wife. If you see the responses to the track, practically almost everybody although recognising adi was at fault, still blames roshni the most and mentions her the most because she is a woman and saying she shouldn't have gone after some else's husband and despite saying no over and over again she would go back to him, then would complain that adi was running after her and stalking her. This is just ridiculous. Roshni made a massive blunder of developing feelings again for adi, but at the end of the day, adi would himself go to her whilst treating his own wife like crap, and even before roshni started showing any interest in him, adi first started ignoring his wife and showing interest in roshni when roshni returned during lohri celebrations as he was eyeing her up.

Why does nobody else question why a man chooses to entertain the advances of another woman when he is the one who is married/ committed? Why nobody questions a man's character when he chooses to have affairs with multiple women and uses and throws women away like disposable articles of clothing? Nobody holds men accountable for their playboy and promiscuous behaviour, but somehow make women a scapegoat to justify and help men escape any blame or responsibility for their actions.

Women are accused of influencing every action and thoughts of a man. Are women the only mature adults on this planet, and men are overgrown man-childs with an under-developed brain who can't think for themselves that women, just like parents, must be held accountable for the actions of their immature children? Are men like babies, who learn everything from adults through observation, and women are the adults who teach men everything? I'm sure men are so innocent like children that they do everything under the influence of their mature and better-knowledgeable adults, as in women. 😆

If men truly are the stronger sex, why treat them like children who don't know any better and so should be excused for their behaviour? Stop treating women like parents to men who should be held answerable for the way men behave. If I was a man, I would feel insulted to think men are considered so dopey that women can influence them to practically do anything.

Having said that, I do agree that Adi is to be blamed more for this because at the end of the day he is the one who cheated on his wife. And Bhallas have always been a selfish cunning lot and right now the story lacks direction and common sense. Everybody has got their priorities and loyalties messed up. I am not sure what is worse, Bhallas running behind Roshni's baby or pretending to care for Aliya even while trampling all over her feelings. I honestly have stopped feeling bad for anyone, because I have no clue as to what each of them wants in life.

I honestly do not know why they want this baby. Even if they were to get this baby, who will take care of it? Do they expect Aliya to spend all her life in that hellhole taking care of that baby? If not who will care, Toshi ? Simmi Param? Romi Mihika? Raman - this man couldn't take care of his kids, now he wants to play grandfather - Diaper kaun change karega Bhai? Or will they hire Shagun , who will in turn outsource that job to the best aaya in the world - Ishita?

Bhalla's, especially toshi always run after women who can provide them with an heir, but ignore those women or insult them the rest of the times when having an heir doesn't concern them, such as shagun, then poor sarika was treated like shit by romi and not helped by the bhalla's when romi ditched her and threw money at her face to abort the child, but ran after her and her child when romi turned out to be infertile due to which she became evil and bitter, and now running after roshni to steal her child. And just like ishita who can't give them a child herself, aliya's feelings are being ignored in favour of their desire for adi's child. 🤢 Again, yeh hai mohabbatein reduced women to wombs and baby-making machines.

Adi and Roshni made a mistake, we all make mistakes, that's what makes us human but when we make mistake the only way to move on is realizing your mistake and apologizing to the "grieving party", of course Roshni is at fault, it was Adi's marriage, he is responsible for breaking his marriage but Roshni is responsible for the child, how can you be 30 years old and not use precaution when you are sleeping with a married man? If you are cheating, at least do one thing properly, a child doesn't deserve to be born into a broken family.
I'll tell you where Roshni is at fault

1 She slept with a married man, the man is at fault for breaking his marriage but think from POV of woman who's claiming to be in love with the man, is she ok being his mistress or she wants more? It's her life, Adi is not responsible for her life, she is an adult, we can't act like she's some teen who got pregnant.

2 If she fell in love with Adi, why didn't she anything to protect him or make an attempt to tell Ishita that she's pregnant with his baby? She was getting married to Shantanu, now she looks at Adi's picture and cry, but she could have saved him like she stopped Ishita from shooting herself by revealing her pregnancy.

3 Why keep the baby? This girl has no job nor anyway of supporting herself, how was she willing to take responsibility of a child, even if she wanted to keep the baby, she should have taken care of herself, but for her Ishita left her family and this girl doesn't even feel bad ordering her around, if she couldn't take care of the baby, she shouldn't have made a decision to keep it.

When it comes to Adi, he is dead, shot by his own mother for his crimes, how can he suffer more? The entire blame did not shift to Roshni, she chose to keep it on herself by breaking two families (Directly or indirectly).

So people are not only bashing Roshni because they are misogynistic or they have patriarchal mindset but because she's the only one being forced down their heads.

I think the mere fact everybody continuously tallies up roshni's mistakes, although she actually only committed one (sleeping with a married man) whilst nobody here makes a list of adi's horrid mistakes the way they do with roshni, when he has made many during that track is an absolute example of misogyny amongst the viewers. In fact when tallying up roshni's mistakes people even nit-pick to make the smallest of things she does like deciding not to abort the child a massive crime. That isn't a crime if she feels she is willing to support her child instead of going through with the pregnancy only to put it into an orphanage the moment it is born like some stupid serials show.

I guess I will do it for adi then:

1) Ignoring and ill-treating his wife despite her obvious repeated attempts to make it up to him, be patient with him when he is angry at her etc.

2) Teaming up with one of his dad's biggest enemies just for greed of money.

3) Betraying his own family by starting an illegal business in his own dad's name.

4) Showing no remorse or guilt when a woman commits suicide due to his illegal business, showing how cold he has become.

5) Ignoring his wife to pursue another woman he had previously rejected as he claimed he loved aliya.

6) Knew that kiran was being blackmailed with her husband's life by his new partner suraj, and kept quiet happily during that entire mess as we wondered who was actually helping suraj in the illegal business, again showing how relationships and human emotions stopped mattering to him over money.

7) Kept pursing and sleeping with another woman, leaving his wife.

8) Beat his wife to force her to agree to give him a divorce so he could marry the other woman.

9) Shamelessly and calculatively framed his little sister for his crime.

10) disrespected and stopped showing any care or regard for his parents and elders in general.

11) Then finally because he couldn't get his shiny new toy, roshni, he decides to burn her face with acid.

I don't see how roshni's one mistake of having an affair with a married man trumps all these sins and crimes of adi's? Again, it seems society is inclined towards forgiving men's mistakes and focusing too much on the tiniest or even non-existing mistakes of women.

Why did roshni want to keep that illegitimate baby ?
Mihika, aliya n Atleast 2 of the Bhalla males are capable of giving GKC .
All that is needed for it is a womb as in surrogacy .
Bhallas are totally familiar with this concept .
Ishu wants to wash away her sins by encouraging Roshni to continue with this pregnancy .
Perhaps in the quest for gaining legitimacy for her kid ,Roshni may even get a mrs Bhalla tag n the riches that come with it .
It's a win win situation for Roshni .
I think that the bhallas made sure that the pregnancy was at its end before accepting Roshni n this kid .
They are not doing this for THE GKC.
But a GKC.
Seriously ,*** is not related to marrying n having kids .
Adi n Roshni had just that .
I'm not even sure if adi was ready to become a father .
Adi may have lost interest in roshni if they had discussed about pregnancy n kids .
I wish Adi comes back to Atleast confirm the disputable paternity of this baby .

He is DEAD and you cannot punish a dead man.

Till the time he was dead all the points which you had mentioned had been repeatedly put forth by all of us. In fact when he beat Aaliyah up we had all in unison said that Aaliyah should get a FIR lodged against Adi for domestic violence as well as doing bigamy.

We were all furious with Ishita who had said till the time Adi doesn't apologize to Aaliyah, he couldn't enter Bhalla house this asking Aaliyah to let go Adi so easily for the crimes he committed . But Ishita herself had done that honours and shot the guy.

You hear about Roshini as she is alive and very much present in the serial (in fact is ruling the serial).

Falling for a married man is not a crime . Sleeping with him is also not a crime. Getting pregnant with his child is also not wrong but doing those things knowing that he is married is wrong. At that time you indeed become home - wrecker as you help the man break his house. As they say you cannot clap with just one hand. If the girl avoids and man is still being rude with his wife as shown in YHM by Adi then he is only at fault but if the girl also gives in then both are equal party. Moreover :

-- She portraying herself to be a victim.

-- She not apologizing to Aaliyah even once. All her talks of she feels guilty becomes hollow as although she has come face to face with Aaliyah , not once did she apologize to her for committing a sin.

-- She expecting Bhallas to accept her with wide arms and Aaliyah to accept the baby just like that. Her conversation where she compared herself to Shagun and Ishita to Aaliyah was a proof that she doesn't feel she had committed any wrong that anybody should have any complaints against her.

-- Bhallas had to persuade Ishita for her GB and never her for even a nano second as she was ever ready and in fact looked like was waiting for such an act. But the moment a few harsh truths were said on her face she got into the mode of she doing a favour by coming into their house.

Lastly ,we are all angry with the way CV's have shown this track go ahead :

-- They have made Ishita - A Baanjh herself reject another Baanjh - Aaliyah (as she was unable to conceive although being medically sound so) for the very reason why she had been rejected ''N" number of times, right from the scratchwhenn Rossini's pregnancy was revealed.

- The other day her words for Aaliyah sounded hollow as she was never - ever there to support Aaliyah as a mother in the most difficult times instead scratched her wounds deeper by supporting Rossini.

-- Aaliyah was shown questioning Raman but has never confronted Ishita. She was shown to be angry with Ishita for the right reasons but how come she never - ever did confront her even once.

-- Aaliyah allowing Roshini to come into Bhalla house would have also looked normal, if only she would have been shown allowing the child to come into the house for right reasons rather than having a hidden agenda. They could have made it look realistic by she keeping herself away from all this hulla - bulla and asking Bhalla family also to do so. She should have been shown thinking about her life in right direction Rather than showing her giving away her share of shares to Roshini and allowing Bhallas to have such a grand celebration . She should ration things out firmly till the time she is in that house rather than getting her feelings trampled all over.

-- Bhallas behaviour is not surprising for me As I did expect them to go running to Rossini for the child but at least the right reasons should have been portrayed . GKC and not Adi's last memory is very wrong. And then they going overboard with the celebration is also not digestable as its ethically wrong.

These are the places which is ticking audience the most in this track

You do know I'm talking about accountability and not who is more worthy of punishment in adi-roshni case? I was clearly addressing how everybody seems to be holding roshni more responsible for the break down of the marriage of adi-roshni and hating on roshni more than adi even when he was alive and now when he's dead. When he was alive people were focusing more on roshni apparently encouraging his advancements, rather than adi's actions, and even now everybody keeps focusing on the same.

His status of alive or dead doesn't mean automatically it is okay to stop blaming and seeing his mistakes, or his mistakes no longer matter to be a point of discussion, and now focus all the hate and blame game on roshni only as she is still alive so her mistake is still worthy of discussion. That makes no sense. And I wasn't even talking about ishita or even care what ishita has done. All my points were specifically about how the audience are approaching the adi-roshni-aliya track and who the audience seems to be loving to blame the most and why I find it silly.

Ishita I no longer see as a discussable character, because her actions now tear out my hair, so I would rather ignore her.

It seems nobody is willing to agree that the audience are seeing more mistakes in roshni and holding her more accountable instead of the real culprit adi, and everybody is going with the same "yeah I know adi was to blame to, but he is dead now..." or "I know adi cheated on aliya, but roshni slept with a married man...". Whether he is alive or dead, people are all holding on to repeating that roshni's one mistake is bigger and more punishable than everything adi did. Doesn't matter whether he is alive or dead, but his death doesn't undo his mistakes or the mess he left behind. What he left behind due to his actions and betraying the people who loved him even more so makes him unpardonable of his crimes irregardless of his death.

I'm only discussing people's habit of blaming the woman rather than primarily holding a man responsible for breaking his own marriage, as that is the issue that I am seeing repeatedly crop up which bothers me, especially considering I stopped watching the show after the first episode of this leap, so everything that has happened after that neither do I know or care about, so quite obviously my focus will be on the people who are still habitually focusing on roshni being the person to blame the most during the affair and focusing on roshni's mistakes more than adi's, because people are still bringing that up repeatedly.

I'm not going to debate with people on the episodes of this leap I haven't seen, but focus on what I have seen and where the audiences stance on the issue of cheating makes no sense to me.

If you want to read people commenting against Adi, I would advise you to go through "Rajma Idli Rantings" thread created since Adi started committing crimes, we discuss what's happening in the show on daily basis, we discuss what we see, when Adi was committing crime, I don't think a single person supported him, but I have seen people being happy that Ishita shot him and I was one of them, you should at least be well informed before labeling people as "misogynistic", I know the word is cool but know your audience.

The thread was about "Why everyone is blaming Roshni?" not about "Who's more responsible Adi or Roshni?" I made the list according to the question asked in this post and answered in my capacity, I am not misogynistic because it's not Adi vs Roshni where I am supporting Adi over Roshni, it's Roshni vs Alia and there I am blaming Roshni... Understand the difference

About abortion, I never said it's a crime to keep the baby but at least be independent enough if you are willing to be a single mother, Adi is not some superstar that she wants to preserve his genes, I don't want people to punish Roshni but rubbing the fruit of adultery in Alia's face is not right

Maximum punishment for acid attack in Indian law is lifetime imprisonment, here Adi was killed ie capital punishment, what more can be done to him, he paid for his crime, for example if someone gets prison term for 10 years, he has to complete his term in the prison, then he's free to live his life

Anyway, none in this forum loves Adi, it's Roshni, who looks at picture of Adi and cries for her long lost love, only Alia was sane one in the beginning, now she has started her Adi drama as well, if you want to label him a criminal, why love him?

Exactly... It's the way CV's have handled this track which has aghast the audience.

People who are questioning why is Roshini being blamed should understand that CV's are making us question the way they are showing her being treated in the serial . I don't say pelt stones at Roshini but there has to be a subtle approach but when CV's are ready to elaborate things and show, people are bound to question as - Does a real victims feelings have no value in front of a person who was if not totally (some peoples views) but still somewhere responsible for the Victims heart break.

I agree with all your points ,but will add Raman too with aaliya . He is the one who has lost everything ,his only son ,his wife whom he loved a lot . And now giving his property just to make his mother happy ,ruhi and pihu too are doing ishima jaap but they are not understanding his pain though they live with him . He told ishita a bad mother and cursed her for his son's death and all started pointing a finger on his love ,why people forget that he is the one who had given responsibilities of his kids to her . everybody is thinking from ishita POV but what about a father pain who had done last rites of his 25 year old son . CVS always focused on ishita ,trying to make her bechari but this time they have gone too far and nor ishita neighter that roshani ,non of them are bechari .

Its my view only ,no offense but people should think from his POV too.
