Part 18
Ishra listened the band and all ,making them realize that the baraat has come ,they got up and composed themselves to go down and welcome the groom and baraat . Raman was ahead while ishita was behind him ,they were walking fastly ,thats when ishita realized that her blouse is too loose , she took her hand back and found her hook was open . She stopped on her place and scanned the place ,she got relaxed seeing non was there . Ishita took her hands to her back and tried to hook the blouse but she can't ,she tried again but failed ,she tried some more times but cannot ,finally noticing that she was getting late ,she called Raman .He has gone bit far ,he stopped in his place itself and asked " ishita kya hua ,come soon .we are already late ".
She shook his head negatively and called him to her ,he made a confused face and asked " bolo na ".
I- Raman aap na please ,its urgent .
He walked to her and was about to ask again when she turned her back towards him.He turned his face to other side and asked feeling awkward " Ishita what ..."
I- Raman please hook my blouse ,Maine try kiya but its not happening .
R- ok .
Saying so he tried to close the hook without looking at her ,but instead of getting close, the hook got poked in her skin ,making her wince . She moaned in pain and spoke " Raman theek se kariye na ".
Looking at her " humm doing ".
He again tried like earlier and again the hook pocked into her skin ,she got angry and shouted " kya hai Raman theek se karo na please ,its hurting ".
R- ohh sorry ,this time I will do it safely .
Saying so he opened his one eyes and looked on her back ,then opened his another eye too ,then closed her hook slowly , careful enough not to hurt her anymore . He saw her bare back and felt something inside him ,while ishita too was fisting her palm nervously . don't wanted to react on his touches but little did they know that they both are affected by each others presence and touches too ,her eyes slowly got closed feeling his touches while he was trying to be a good boy but was yearning to touch her more but fortunately he received his mothers call before he could do any mistake which he would had regret later . He covered her back with her dupptta and spoke " ishita its done ,now we should rush ,see ma is calling ".
She nodded and went at the entrance where Bhalla's and their relatives were waiting for baraat . Soon the baraat arrived ,Ishita did grooms aarti and Raman took him inside . Then Ishita went to call simmi and saw her sitting with moist eyes . Ishita sat beside her and asked getting worried " what happened simmi ,its a very big day for you and you are crying ,kuch hua hai kya ,aren't you happy . you can share with me ".
S- nothing like that ,its just this is the last day of mine in this house that's why . ishita you know papa ke baad bhai ne mujhe papa ki tarah paala , kabhi koi kami nahi hone di. He even married to you for me .
Ishita felt bad listening to simmi that her marriage was just a compromise which Raman has done to do his sister's marriage nicely that's when she listened simmi " you know I had never seen any person as good and simple as my bhai ,don't think that I m saying this because he is my brother but its actually a fact . Ma ne bataaya mujhe how that night even after talking to you for marriage he searched for romi bhai but he was not there .so Raman bhai has yo marry you for the sake of everybody ".
I- humm ,I know everything but why are you telling me this now ,we are getting late .
Ishita spoke being straight showing that she is over all this when simmi spoke "
because we both are of same age and I can understand that its much difficult for you to accept a man as your husband who is very much elder than you .".
Ishita was silent listened to her when simmi spoke again " tu bol mat ishita but the your dilemma is evident sometimes ,not every time as you successfully hide it behind your smiling face but kabhi kabhi teri kasmkash dikti hai. I will not force you to stay with bhai ,as I can understand you but will tell my bhai has only one thing wrong thats his age besides that he is best husband anyone can get .you know tere se main ye sab kyun bol rahin hoon, because ma and bhai,both are too careless towards themselves ,main thi to I was checking at them ,kabhi ma forgets her medicine sometimes bhai forget his . I use to scold them for this too but now they will be free ,mihika se koi ummeed nahi hai bas tumse hai ,if you can take care of my bhai and ma ,after me . I m not forcing just a request ".
I- you don't worry ,I will be there for them .
S- thank you so much ishita ,now I can go happily but you take a wise decision which you feel is right for you .
Before ishita could say ,toshiji entered the room scolding the girls ,"tum dono
ladkiyaan yahaan baatein kar rahi ho and panditji is calling for bride ".
I- humm .
Soon they took simmi witg them to mandap ,the marriage ritual started . At first jaymaal ritual was done ,bride groom exchanged the flower garlands then ,ishra did simmis kanyadaan . The bridegroom take pheres of holy fire and then groom filled simmis partition ,then tied the mangalsutra . The priest completed the marriage ,and instructed the bridegroom to take blessings of elder . The marriage was over ,simmi and her husband was taking blessings of elders ,they at first touched the grooms parents and relatives feet touched Toshiji's feet ,then went to ishra ,Raman was ok but ishita felt bit awkward as the couple was of her age only and was touching her feet for blessing ,she took her feet back and denied saying "don't touch my feet ,its awkward ".
Toshiji held her and spoke " I know puttar but you are elder to her in relation ".
I- but then also thats not needed .
Saying so ishita hugged simmi ,for which simmi said " ishita tu bahut achchi hai ,bilkul mere bhai ki tarah and you both look good together ,he is still handsome ".
She spoke this slowly in ishita's ears ,only audible to her ,ishita saw Raman who was looking at them with teary eyes as simmi will be leaving after a while . Ishita scanned him from top to bottom thoroughly for the first time and found that he us actually handsome and attractive . Soon the vidaai ritual was done and simmi left for her in-laws house .
Slowly the relatives too started leaving and within two days Bhalla house was like earlier only left with some helps and family members ,toshiji ,ishita and Romika . As toshiji was not talking to Romika ,mihika don't spend much time in home rather she spends most of her time in her parents house while Raman and romi has started going to office .
It was evening Ishita too was not home as appa has come and the father daughter duo were gone out to spend some time and talk which may be they were not free in talking in Bhalla house . Raman returned from his office ,toshiji gave him water and he asked for ishita ,she informed same to him .
They had their evening tea together and then both got busy in their work .After sometimes Raman came to toshiji's room and sat there ,she asked "
what happened puttar ".
R- nothing ma ,was alone in room ,so thought to come to you ,you were also alone .
T- thats nice puttar .
They talked for sometimes then Raman recalled something and started doing something in his laptop .Raman was doing his work while toshiji was noticing him . He was writing and then erasing something , making it look as he is trying to write something but is not getting proper words . Finally toshiji asked " puttar what are you doing ,you must be tired ,go and rest ".
R- I m trying to draft a tender but its not happening ,don't know why its getting wrong again and again .you don't worry if you are getting disturbed I will go in hall .
Toshiji got up from her place and spoke cupping his face " baat yahaan baithne ya hall mein jaane ki nahi hai , tu ye bata why are you so disturbed ".
R- disturbed main ,nahi to .
T- is it because ishita is not there or she has said something to you .
R- nahi to ,wo to mujhse kuch kahti hi nahi hai .
T- then what's disturbing you ..
R- kuch bhi nahi ma .
T- I m your mother puttar ,I know you well .
R- nothing ma .
T- you will not tell me ,apni ma ko nahi bataayega .
R- nothing ma ,was just thinking about ishita's decision ,what she will decide , will she stay in same room or will shift to another one and if she wants to shift ,which room should be given to her .
Toshiji make him look at her and spoke kissing his temple " don't be tensed puttar she will not go anywhere ".
R- what are you saying ma .
T- wahi Jo hone wala hai.
R- she has gone with her father ,what if her father wants to take her back .
T- tu chinta na kar puttar ,everything will be alright ,you at first tell me do you like ishita .
R- no ,nothing like that , was just thinking about her decision .
T- puttar why are you so scared ,I can see you liking for her.
R- ma kuch bhi mat bolo ,moreover its not matter of my liking but what matter is ishita's decision .
