I too hate remakes..especially if they are malayalam film remakes and english remakes...i make it a point to avoid😆...cos the actors are a league above and beyond in most cases...and the stories are nuanced..which the remakes miss completely..

I have watched bhool bhulaiya as just TP scenes😆...couldnt get through chandramukhi..cos i felt they butchered the essence and subtlety of the malayalam version😛...(no offence)😆

U are not totally wrong,my father is Tamil Brahman so i know tamil but it's other thing from his grandfather itself, they all settled in kerala,so he is technically malayalee & my mother is fully malaylee 😆.

So,u know to speak malayalam or only understand it 😛

Oh good..my dads family are also Tamil Iyers settled in Kerala...so they speak Malayalam better than tamil..my mum is a pure Tamil Iyer from Tirunelveli ...:)

I speak broken Malayalam...I understand very well..but I dont read or write both Tamil and Malayalam..😛

Broken malayalam...hahaha okk . @bold same here 😆 My mother tongue is malayalam,so i'm fluent . I understand tamil well & i can speak too, but i'm not that much fluent because of not using it frequently but don't know to write tamil .But know how to speak and write hindi well 😆😆

Can I just join...Even I am a Malayalee from Trivandrum,married at Kollam...And about Manichitrathazhu...The film was released when I was just 10but still has the same effect when I am 33 now...:)

Few days ago,someone on if said that one scene has been shot,where Raman will tell something to Ishita,she blush,smile & run away but catch her.I dont knw who said but i remember someone said.Do anyone remember abt that?
