Next day afternoon, Bhallas reached to their house in Delhi. Raman already got an urgent call from office so he went to office. He met one of his colleagues, Shubham (He lives in same colony of Raman) and asked the happenings of office in last few days and upcoming days,
Shubham-Good to see you back, Raman. Thank god you came. There are a lot of work to do urgently. MD sir still on leave as he have to attend few weddings and few professional meeting too. He will come after one or two days. And CEO sir is on leave as he is not well. And main news is clients of the new project whose responsibility is on us, are coming in next two days so we have to complete it soon.
R-What! Why didn't you tell me earlier? Oh my god, I have to do a lot of work for that, we have just started that. Ok now no more talk only work. Let's go.
Saying so both got busy in their work. While at the other side, a senior aged man came to his home and watchman came to him. He asked him something in signs signalling towards the house in front of his to which watchman nodded in yes and without wasting a second he run to the house telling him to take his luggage to his house and he will come after sometime. He pressed the doorbell impatiently and Mr Bhalla opened the door who got happily surprised to see his best friend from college days, Mr Vishwanath Iyer. Both saw each other and hugged the next moment. Mr Bhalla called him inside and Mr Iyer met Mrs Bhalla who was also so happy and Bhallas got to know that he is living in front of them only.
Mr Bhalla-Tune kab shift kiya Vishwa, humhe to pta nhi tha ki tum rahte ho uss ghar mein.
Mr Iyer-Hum to purane ho chuke hai, naye to aap log hai. Vaise acha laga aap logo ko vapas yahan dekh kar.
Mr bhalla-Bas yaar tujhe to pta hai govt. Job thi, kabhi yahan transfer to kabhi vahan lekin kabhi Delhi mein nhi Hua. Hamara dil to Delhi mein hi tha. Ab retirement ke baad finally hum permanent shift ho gaye. Raman ne bhi ek achi company mein join Kar liya hai yahi.
Mr Iyer -Of course I know.
Mrs Bhalla -Aapko kaise pta bhai sahab.
Mr Iyer-Meri company mein hi join kiya hai usne. In fact Uske through hi mujhe pta chala ki aap dono yahan ho par mujhe out of city jana pada aur aap log bhi Amritsar gaye huye the. abhi aaya to pta chala aap log aa gaye to milne aa gaya.
After trio had lunch together and then all had a long conversation till evening. In evening, Raman and Shubham came to Bhalla house discussing about presentation when they saw seniors were having a good time together. Both greeted Mr Iyer and asked about his arrival and got to know that Mr iyer and Mr Bhalla are college friends.
Mr Iyer-Ab main chalta hu. Baaton baaton mein pta hi nhi chala kab sham ho gayi. Mujhe apni bachiyon se bhi milna hai. Vo dono to meri class lengi ki main unhe bina inform kiye aise suddenly aa gaya.
Mrs Bhalla-Bachiyan? Aapki ki to ek hi beti hai Na.
Mr Iyer-Ek beti thi Bhabhi Ji, ab do hai. Main sab kuch btaunga. Abhi chalta hu aur haa aaj ka dinner mere ghar karna hai aap sab ko vo bhi meri betiyon ke hath ka. Shubham you too.
Shubham-but sir...
Mr Iyer-No arguments, I know your family is out of town. So it's decided we all will have dinner together at my house today. Ok bye now.
He was going but stopped hearing Shubham who received a call and said, -What! You don't worry I'm coming. Saying so he disconnected the call and went out telling Mr Iyer to wait in Iyer house and he is coming soon with Ishita and Soumya. Mr Iyer got worried and went to Iyer house while Mr and Mrs Bhalla too followed him and saw a big picture of Mr Iyer along with Ishita and Soumya in hall and remembered that they are same whom they met in wedding while Raman stayed in bhalla house only. He kept his files and laptop in his room and came out locking the house. He was going to Iyer house when he got a call and got busy in it. He was on call when he saw Shubham's car coming followed by another car and cut the call. Soumya came out of one of the car while Shubham from his and opened the door of back seat. Then it clicked in raman's mind that they are same Ishita and Soumya. He came forward and saw Ishita was murmuring something in her semi-conscious condition having injuries on her forehead and one arm. Shubham was trying to pick her but she again and again stopping and saying not to tell Appa. Raman hit his forehead and came forward. He didn't give a second and picked her in his arms and took her inside ignoring her struggles or nonstop request not to call Appa otherwise he will be worried but she didn't recognize Raman as she was not in senses. Soon she slept due to effect of medicines.
Seniors were waiting eagerly in hall when Raman entered in hall followed by Soumya and Shubham. Mr Iyer got up worriedly seeing Ishita and Soumya who was also having some wounds on her arms. Soumya didn't expected Mr Iyer there and was scared but he didn't say anything. Soumya showed raman the way to their room and he took her to room. Mr Iyer asked Shubham what happened to which he just said that Soumya told him that it was a small accident and now they are fine, just few wounds but Mr Iyer was not convinced. Raman came out after few minutes while Soumya was with Ishita. Bhallas and Shubham left from there while Mr Iyer went to his room. Later Mrs Bhalla sent food for Iyers through a help.
In mid night, after doing his office work, Raman went to close window when he saw Ishita sitting in her balcony and Soumya brought the turmeric milk for her which she took making faces. Ishita took the glass near her mouth but stopped, she did it four times and then kept it on small table and was preparing herself to have it while Raman thought some mischief and taking out some office documents, he got her number and dialled it. He closed the window and curtains and hide so that he can see her but she can't. Ishita picked the call,
I-Hello.
R-Hello. How are you feeling now?
I-Excuse me. Who are you?
R-It's not important that who I'm but yes turmeric milk is very important when you are injured.
I-Turmeric milk??
R-Yes the one which you are seeing but not having. Have it, its good to cure injuries. And you should know it as you are doctor.
He was saying while Ishita was looking all around her.
R-Did you find out?
I-What?
R-Me. I can see you are searching for me but you can't find me. Don't stress yourself.
I-I think I had heard this voice earlier but who are you?
R(smiling)-You can think of it later but right now I want to ask you something.
I-I don't want to hear anything.
She was about to cut the call when he said,
R-It's related to your father.
I-What?
R-Tumhari daant ukhaadne ki dukan thik nhi chal rhi kya jo social work mein time pass karna start kar diya. Suna hai ki tum aaj kal dusro ki help karne ke liye nayi nayi musibaton ko sar par liye ghoomti ho.
I(irritated)-Is it related to my father? And who are you to interfere in my matters.
R(smiling)-Of course its related to your father, think of him once. He was so worried to see in this condition.
I(shocked)-What? Appa saw me like this. How is it possible? He is not here. You just stop your nonsense.
Saying so she cut the call thinking if he was right or wrong while Raman cursed himself for telling her about her father and thought may be Soumya didn't tell her about Mr Iyer right now as she will be worried. He saw her going inside the room closing the door of her balcony. He too went inside thinking of it only while Ishita went inside and saw Soumya was already slept. She went to Appa's room to confirm and saw him sleeping and she could see him worried in his sleep too. She went back to her room all sad as she knows how much worried her father must be seeing her like this and slept after long.
Next morning, Soumya woke up Ishita at 7 am. Ishita was having headache and was sitting in balcony and saw Raman and Shubham coming from gym and was shocked. She saw him going to the opposite house which she knew that it was the new employee's house about whom Mr Iyer told to her, she heard a lot of praises of him. She gave a look and then shifted her thoughts while Raman entered in his room and was going to have bath when his eyes fell on Ishita and seeing her sitting in balcony again holding her head which may be paining now, he again thought to disturb her and picking his mobile, he sent a good morning message to her which she read but thinking to teach a lesson to this stranger later as she is in pain, she didn't reply. Raman again sent a message and went to get ready, "Do you have a special connection with your balcony? Always sitting there only. Be careful, kahi aisa Na ho ki koi pakshi tumhe apne sath uda le jaaye.
Ishita got irritated but didn't reply. After sometime, she recalled the last night call and tried to link all dots and finally came to conclusion that its Raman only who is playing prank with her. After thinking to confront him later, she too got busy in getting ready for the day and to bear her Appa's scolding. After getting ready, Ishita and Soumya came to hall only to see Mr and Mrs Bhalla came to ask about their health while Appa didn't say anything which made Ishita and Soumya guilty. Raman and Shubham too came there as they had some work with Mr Iyer. Ishita and Soumya were trying to talk to Mr Iyer and apologisin. Finally he said,
Mr Iyer-You both want me to forgive you Na.
I & S-yes.
Mr Iyer -So you have to agree with my decision. I decided something for you both.
I & S- Done.
Mr Iyer-Are you sure? Think once again.
Ishita and Soumya looked at each other confused thinking what he had decided but both assured each other in signs and said,
I & S-We trust you.
Both were standing holding hands and eagerly waiting for his decision when he declared,
Mr Iyer-I want you both to get married. Tum dono ke liye ache ladke choose karke tumhari shadi karwa du phir mujhe koi tension nhi hogi tumhari safety ki.
Both looked at each other and take a breath of relief and then said,
I-Kya Appa, aapne to dara diya tha.
Mr Iyer-Don't you have any problem?
S-No.
I-Usme problem kaisi. We don't like someone or don't have boyfriend that we will have any problem.
Mr Iyer-Then done. I had already chosen suitable boys for both of you. Now I just have to talk to their parents. (to Mr and Mrs Bhalla)-Om Bhabhiji aap dono se mujhe discuss Karna hai,mere kamre mein chale.
I-Office?
Mr Iyer -Aaj meri chutti.
S-But uncle, aap time din se office nhi gaye ho or sharma uncle (CEO) bhi leave par hai to office kon...
Mr Iyer-I have no worries. I know Shubham and Raman will take of the office. Ok bye.
Saying so he went inside with Mr and Mrs Bhalla while Raman and Shubham left for office and Ishita and Soumya stayed at home as per Mr Iyer's instructions.
In evening, Shubham and Raman were sitting in a restaurant waiting for someone. Raman asked him many times but he asked him to wait and finally after 15 minutes wait, Ishita and Soumya came there. Raman asked him why he bring him there to which he said for dinner as their parents are already out for dinner. They placed their orders and started light chit chat. Soon they started their dinner. Raman thought to continue with his prank and messaged her keeping his mobile under table hiding from them. Ishita received the message and read, "Dinner without me. Very bad." She was about to keep the mobile phone back but thinking something, she replied, "Correction, dinner along with you on the same table, sitting opposite to you right now, that is very bad." He was having food when he read it and coughed getting caught by her. She offered water to him while he silently took the glass.
Shubham-Are you ok? What happened suddenly?
I(looking at Raman)-Shock laga.
Raman too loooked at her while Soumya and Shubham looked at them confused.
Soumya-Kaisa shock?
I-I mean mirchi wala shock.
R-I'm fine. You guys continue.
After that none talked. Soon they completed their dinner and left from there while Raman sent her a sorry message while she replied its ok...
