Part - 7

One week passed. Ishita and Soumya spent the whole week attheir Appa’s house but along with it, they used to help their mother-in-lawsalso in the house works also. It’s just that their day starts with their fatherand ends with him. After dinner, Ishra used to have conversation on mobilephones standing in their balconies, looking at each other.

The day Ishita was coming back to Bhalla house, Raman cameback early from office eagerly waiting for her, he cleaned their room so thatshe would not get any chance to get angry with him or fight with him, he was ina good mood, in last one week, after that night, they didn’t spend timetogether. He was standing in his balcony when he saw her coming out of Iyerhouse taking her bag, after some time he heard the sound of doorbell. Ishitawas welcomed by Raman with a big smile, she came inside and he closed the door.He came inside but his wife was already got busy with her parents, especiallyhis mother who was very happy to see her back. Both ladies were busy in theirconversation while Raman was waiting to get some time with her. After sometime, when he saw his mother is not going to leave her so soon, he went totheir room and got busy in his work. After few minutes, she came there to keepthe bag. Both looked at each other and were happy to be with each other. Bothshared a hug but before they could say even a word to each other, she wascalled by his mother. Both broke the hug and smiled. They didn’t say anything,just signaled each other that she should go and she left. She got busy inpreparing dinner. After dinner, Raman helped her in winding up everything.Finally, they entered their room and said together.

Ishra – Finally.

Both said and smiled. Ishita went to change into night dress.When she came back, she found him standing at the window and looking at herroom’s balcony with a sweet smile. She stood beside him and asked,

I – What are you looking at? Now you don’t need to stand hereto see me, I’m with you only.

He smiled and said taking her in a side hug,

R – Ha, now you are with me but you know what that one weekwas a beautiful memory.

I (hugging him back) – Ha vo to hai. We could live what wemissed.

R – Like?

I – Like when we were getting married, we didn’t even talk toeach other like friends or you know like those people who were about to getinto an arranged marriage…. Trying to know each other before marriage…. forgetabout talking like lovers.

They laughed at themselves.

R – Do you know what was the lack in our relationship?

I – That we never tried..

R – Hmmm. We never tried to….

I (interrupting him) – Is it necessary to think about pastnow?

R – Right. Let’s start a fresh.

Both went inside and settled on the bed. First they talkedabout themselves, had arguments over few things also. Ishita was telling him achildhood incident happily while he was smiling looking at her. She felt hisgaze and asked what he is looking at. He didn’t say anything just went littlecloser to her, she looked at him surprisingly.

R – Kya hua?

I – Kuch nhi.

R – Kuch nhi?

Ishita nodded in no playing innocently. Raman pulled hercloser and asked again to which she replied same, he pulled her closer andasked same, she again replied same. Now they were very close to each other. Shegot nervous making him smile, now it’s his turn to trouble her. He movedtowards her and rubbed his cheek against her cheek making her close her eyes.He whispered in her ears,

R – Ab?

Ishita smiled and pushed him back making him fall on the bed,she laughed at him while he pulled her over him, both shared an eye lock butbefore he could do anything, her mobile phone rang. She stood up and picked hermobile. It was from her old friend. They started talking while Raman put hishead in her lap and she was massaging his head along with talking to her friend.He was waiting for her to end the call but they talked for long and he sleptlike that only. After a long time, she cut the call and looked at him, shesmiled looking at him. She made him sleep comfortably and she also slept besidehim.

Next morning, he woke up and found her already busy inperforming her daughter-in-law responsibilities. He got ready for the day andwent out. After breakfast, Raman was in their room collecting his things readyto go to the office when she entered the room and started getting ready to goto her clinic hurriedly. He smiled seeing her and went to her. She was giving alast touch up to her looks when he hugged her from back. She smiled at him andasked,

I –What happened? Suddenly, apni ik lauti biwi par bada pyaraa rha hai.

R – Nothing. Aur ha mere pas to time hi time hai apni biwi keliye par meri biwi hai ki time hi nhi hai uske pas.

I (turning towards him) – Achaji, now I’m here only. Tell me.

R (putting his arms around her shoulders) – kehna kuch nhihai bas….

He said moving closer to her but she stopped him.

R – Kya hua?

I (smiling) – Kuch nhi… bas time thik nhi hai.

R (moving forward) – Time to ek dum thik hai. Hum dono eksath hai aur kya chahiye…

I (pushing him back) – Ji nhi… I’m getting late and I thinkit’s time to go to office for you too. So….

R – Ha five minutes mein kuch nhi hoga..

He was saying when their mobile phones rang. It was Shubhamand Soumya who called them as they are getting late for office and clinic.Raman made an irritated face and left while Ishita smiled at him and followedhim. Both went out only to see them waiting for Ishra. They greeted them.Shubham and Raman were going when Ishita said bye but in returned he told herto say it to her friends in an irritated tone and left. Soumya asked whathappened to him but she said nothing.

In evening, when he came back, she was busy with his mother,both were talking happily and she was teaching her a new recipe. He went totheir room. When he came out of the bathroom after changing his clothes, she wasthere arranging the room. He thought that they got some time with her butbefore that, his father called him and he had to go. After dinner, Soumya camethere making him surprised and got to know that Ishita and soumya had some workto do together. Ishita thought he would be sad but he just smiled trying tohide his sadness. After completing her work, she went to their room only to seehim working. She asked sitting beside him on the bed,

I – Abhi tak jag rhe ho?

R – just doing some work.

I – Sorry…

Raman closed his laptop and then coming back, said taking herin a hug.

R – It’s ok. I understand.

Both slept after having a small conversation. Next daystarted as usual, Raman thought to plan something so that they can get sometime for themselves but when he came back in evening, he found his bua andcousin sister at home. They stayed for three days which were very hectic forIshita as she was managing her clinic plus trying to give time to the relativesalso as a perfect DIL. Ishra used to get very less time for themselves and atthe end of the day, they just complete their pending work and sleep huggingeach other after few conversations. They wanted to take their relationship onestep ahead but were not getting appropriate time and moment. They were always busywith work or family.

Sunday was coming, Raman thought to have one day out withIshtia as he knew, living in the house means she will be busy with one or theother person. He told Ishita that they will tell the family that they areinvited by one of his friend at his house on Sunday, it will save from theirteasing and some kind of embarrassment also. On Saturday evening, Raman toldthe same to his parents, Soumya heard him and asked the reason. He made anirritated face as she always interrupts them. He told that his friend and hiswife want to meet them. Soumya immediately told them that they can’t goanywhere tomorrow making them confused. She told that she came to inform themthat she has to tell something important to everyone so no one will go anywheretomorrow. Ishita tried to ask her what happened but she went back withoutsaying anything. Raman got irritated and angry on her but controlled hisemotions thinking maybe it’s important. They cancelled their plan.

Next day, Soumya had already arranged breakfast for everyoneand after having it, everyone was waiting to know the matter. Shubham andSoumya informed everyone that she is pregnant making everyone happy. Everyonecongratulated them and had sweets. They decided to celebrate the news at night.Soumya was getting so much attention. After some time, Ishra were sitting withSoumay and Shubham, Ishita was very happy and telling her how she is going todo things for her and her baby,

S- Enough Ishita. We got it how much happy you are. (lookingat Raman) See Raman, she is so happy and you were taking her to your friend’shouse, ek dum boring. Itni badi smile uske chehre par vaha nhi hoti.

Raman just nodded with a sweet smile looking at Ishita. Hewas also very happy for them. Soumya was called by their mothers while Shubhamwent to attend a call.

I – It’s a big news na. I’m so excited. It’s good she stoppedus on right time and we didn’t miss it.

R – Hmmm, this news really brought so much happiness in ourfamily.

I – Without any doubt.

R (after thinking something) –But I have a doubt. I was justwondering ki hamesha aisa hi kyu hota hai.

I – Kya?

R (coming a little closer) – yeh dono hamesha hamari pictureki shooting par break laga kar khud ki picture release kar dete hai.

I (pushing him back, smiling) – Raman.. Stop it.

R – Vo to pehle se No entry ka board laga hua hai madam.

I – Don’t worry, board laga hai to hat bhi jaayega.

R – Achaji, ek bar board hatne to de madrassan. Main lagaungaphir Do Not Disturb ka board aur phir shuru hogi hamari picture ki shooting johit bhi hogi aur….

I – Bas… kitne besharm ho gaye ho aap.

Before they could talk more, Soumya disturbed them. At night,everyone celebrated the new happiness. Everyone gave some gifts to the couplewhatever they could arrange in such a short time. They were enjoying it whensomeone came there with a parcel, Shubham received it and then gave it to Ramansaying it’s on his name. Raman got confused and checked it, he found twotickets inside it and looked at him. Everyone was looking at Ishra with a smilemaking them confused and surprised. They asked to which soumya said,

S - Raman Appa ke office mein kam karte hai to Appa ki bhipermission granted hai aur Ishita aur mera to khud ka clinic hai to main bhiishita ko permission deti hu..

R – Arey kis bat ki permission.

S – One week off from work.

I – One week? Why?

Shubham – Because you both are going to one week trip.

R – Trip? Yeh ho kya rha hai? Clearly kaho.

Soumya – ohho, you both are so stupid.

R – not more than you. Now tell us clearly.

Mrs bhalla – Main batati hu. Yeh hum sabki taraf se ek chotasa gift hai tum dono ke liye. Tum dono kal ek week ke liye Jaipur trip par jarhe ho.

Ishra (surprised) – Kya?

S – Kyu khush nhi ho tum dono?

Shubham – Sabka kehna hai ki tum dono hamesha kam aur familymein hi busy rehte ho to kuch din live freely, enjoy your life.

All said yes and asked them to start their packing.

I – Par abhi kyu…. I mean. Mummiji aapko pareshani hogi aurSoumya is also pregnant.

Mrs Bhalla – Oye Ishita… tujhe main budhi lagti hu, main kuchkam nhi karti, arey mere vajan par mat ja. Hum Punjabi hai, full energy rehtihai hamesha aur aaj bhi tum kudiyo se jyada kam kar sakte hai.

Shubham’s mother – Sahi kaha Toshi ne. Arey ab nhi to kabjaaoge, yeh hi to umar hai tumhari ghoome phirne ki aur Soumya ka khyal humrakh lenge.

Soumya – Aur vaise bhi main bimar nhi hu. I just need to takecare of myself a little bit more. That’s it. Ab tum dono kuch kahoge. Justthink ki tumhe kya pack karna hai aur Jaipur mein kaha kaha jana hai, kya kyashopping karni hai etc etc. Okay.

Ishra nodded in yes.

Next day, Ishra left for their trip which they spent enjoyingtogether. They took their relationship to next step. They were happy having awonderful family and perfect ‘Humsafar’ in their life…..

Ishita and saumya spent one week with appa happily ishra used to talk with each other on mobile standing in their balcony looking at each other they were very happy it was the day ishita was coming back raman saw her from balcony coming he welcomed her happily ishita got busy with toshiji raman waited for sometime than he went into his room after sometime ishita came in room they hugged each other but before they can talk she was called by toshiji after dinner ishra went tot their room ishra talk was nice raman was trying to spend time with ishita but they were not getting time he decided to take ishita away for one day he made excuse to family but saumya said they can't go anywhere as she have to announce something important next day at breakfast subham and saumya announced about Saumya pragnancy all were so happy especially ishra raman is so naughty all gifted ishra one week trip in jaipur ishra enjoyed their trip they took their relationship ahead
